For those asking the top requires 1500-2600 yrds of fine, weight 2 yarn according to the Etsy post of this top. The yardage depends on the size you want to make but it's safe to say 1500yrds would fit a size extra-small to small. Yardage also depends on your gauge so be sure to check that as well ❤️
Thank you!
Could you say how many meters or grams of size 1 yarn would be needed?
This is so fun to work on! I love the details, it's beautiful!! for everyone, at row 2 (after the sc row), there is a 2 double crochet cluster twice that she does but doesn't mention clearly, when the pattern starts over, after doing those I got the right count at the end :)
can you explain further?
Just finished my sweater in a lovely sage green! I used weight 2 yarn and I only needed 1046 m (1143.9 yards) which was about 6.5 balls of the yarn I was using. For reference, I normally wear a size S-M and I started the body with 124 stitches!
Hi how long did it took you? :)
@@maggoodee4638 around a month because I was busy but I think only about 3-4 days of actually working on it
Wich yarn did u use,?

This is beautiful and so easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing. 💗💗💗🌿🌿🌿
This pattern is even more beautiful to see in person! And your instructions are easy for me to follow as well.
Girl as soon as you started speaking i was like WHAT, CARIBBEAN GIRL!!!! Love love love to see another caribbean girl crafting here on youtube! Really well done with the sweater! Love from a neighbour 🇱🇨
Thank you soooo much!!! Sending love to you and all the Caribbean crochet crafters!! 🥰 🇱🇨🇹🇹🇯🇲🇧🇧🇰🇳🇬🇾🇬🇩
Excellent tutorial. I’ve been knitting and crocheting for 40 years and I’ve watched several videos and yours is exceptional. Keep up with your craft, your potential is boundless. Peace. 🫶🏽 🇹🇹
Gorgeous! Not attempting this, just looking 😍 0:49
Make sure you buy enough yarn by the way the brand of cozy comfy has changed from a cotton polyester blend to a cotton alpaca blend by lion Brand, so that may be why you’re having trouble finding it. I bought it a couple of years ago when it was on clearance and the only color they had left was the bacon cream and I just love it. I have used it for a sweater coat and I have some leftover so I’m going to try the top that you have because it’s such a pretty pattern.
Aaaaaaa just finished this project what a thrilling process, so rewarding because this pattern is so pretty!!!
Thank you for teaching me how to made this beautiful lacy top. You are an excellent teacher/crocheter!
You are a very good teacher. I have to buy some yarn now. This sweater is so cute and the pattern is unique. Thank you for sharing ❤
This is soooooo unbelievably beautiful ❤
I make half sleeves now I'm making my second top thank you so much
This is the most beautiful pattern I’ve seen and easy to follow. I’ve started mine 🥰
I just found this video, through instagram and im excited to start because this is exactly what I was looking for, to wear at my wedding. ❤ this is an amazing pattern, thank you so much for the kindness of making it free and create a video tutorial
It’s my pleasure!!! Happy crocheting 😍 I can only imagine how beautiful it’s gonna be for your wedding 🤍🤍🤍
This would be so much tighter and finished better if you use a single crochet foundation row and instead of chaining three as a double crochet use stacked single crochet to start the rows.
Thank you for your input! I really like your suggestion and will try 😊❤
You mean like for the “clusters” or all?
If you do this in a 3 weight, you need to decrease your stitches.
I tried it with 155 stitches, and it's way too big for the sweater, so I am going to make it into a wrap.
This works up perfectly with a 2 weight, lol, I started over because I love this pattern. ❤
Thanks! I'm gonna start this with weight 3 variegated yarn and see how it goes
Fantastic tutorial well done. I’ve made front panel and just starting back panel. I’m surprised at how easy it is to make, your guidance is first class. Only slightly biased being a fellow ‘Trini’😂 Thanks hun 🇹🇹❤️
This is so lovely, thank you for this great tutorial, I’m going to try this next!
Just bought the pattern. With the pattern and video tutorial, I cannot wait to have a finished sweater!!!
thank you!! I'm making this as part of a druid cosplay for a dnd character. It came out a little big at first but it's very easy to size it down. Instructions are super clear so thank you!!

Thank you so much for sharing your pattern tutorial. ❤ I am on my row 4, and I can't wait to finish it!
I love this pattern! I only want to make it longer so i think i will repeat the rows one more time to make it longer.
I’ve just finished mine and I love it so much.
How many grams of material did you use?
I think I used like 4 balls of 100gram yarn with a 3.5 size hook, hope this helps
thank you ❤
Just completed.Lovely pattern and well explained.thanks

I'm gonna have to come back to this one. I don't know how, but I keep messing up the # of DC in row 3. I'll definitely be revisiting with a sharper eye and more patience. This is a very good tutorial.
Wow! That’s is gorgeous. You are so talented!
What a gorgeous sweater! I've been looking forward to this video for quite a while, thank you so much! 🙏😊❤️ (Btw totally off topic but your handwriting looks beautiful! 😄)
This is absolutely beautiful. You explained the pattern so well. I will be making this for sure! Thank you for sharing your talent! This was a perfect tutorial!
Thanks so much 😊
If you have bigger chest, i would recommend taking your chest measurement and divide it by 2 to get the initial width of your front panel
What do you mean
@@marxn8683 you get your chest measurement. For example, you get 40 inches. You divide it by 2 to get the size of the front panel. Half of 40 is 20, so that means you will make your front panel 20 inches.
Beautiful pattern! Thank you for sharing. 💜🦋💐
THANK YOUUU OMG THIS IS THE PRETTIEST THING EVAHHH
wow! That's an awesome tutorial! Thanks for your work!

I need this :o Sadly I have to wait until April at least to start new projects as I'm moving this month and I don't want to move with too many wip's as they are hard to keep from unraveling and getting tangled ☹️ Seems like a nice tutorial though, can't wait :)
❤beautiful and easy åattern. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.
This is absolutely stunning work! Will try to make for springtime🌷 to anyone who’s made the sweater, about how long did it take to complete?

This is wonderful work and you're amazing at explaining it! I've just finished row 12 after watching and rewatching so much :D and I have more to do! I can't wait to find more of your work 💜
What a beaurtiful pattern!!!
Давно искала этот узор. Спасибо!
Thanku! Can’t wait to start… you are z bomb❤️
Beautiful!😍
Beautiful. Thank you❤ my next project!
This is very nice pattern. I will use your instructions only for the sleeves that I would add (by crocheting) on my old blouse. I'm wondering if I can start this pattern from the top down (from the top of the sleeve to the wrist) given the fact that the starting row is slightly squiggly (uneven). I would appreaciate your advice, as I have already cut sleeves from by bluse and have prepared everything to start crochet sleeves according your tutorial.
Beautiful ⚘
Do you guys think this would look good with a variegated color changing yarn? 🤔 I can't decide if I should try variegated or solid color.
I wanna know too. I have enough yarn but it's variegated (earthy colours- soft pinks and greens) and weight 3.
Absolutely! I LOVE variegated yarn for these types of patterns with repeating motifs. An Ombre would look great as well!
I'll start of mine ,só quicly!
Felicidades. Está linda.
Just look at this I love it ❤️
Beautiful work and explain all about 🎉❤🙏
I bought this pattern and I did 124+3 stitches but at the end of row 2 it just doesn’t add up, I’ve taken it apart two times now and about to give up. The first time I hade too many stitches left and this time not enough stitches
I was having issues. But it does work, I tried with that amount of stitches. Make sure you skip the stitches when she says you have to
I did that too and the problem is that 124 isn't divisible by 3, so I went down to 123 and it works like it should 👍
@@elizabethlowe8960 ah okay, because it was supposed to be 124 divisible of 31 and you add three. It did work for me - happy crocheting!
Can I ask with 124 is it the same start etc as on here? I can't read patterns so making from here but wondered if the pattern is of centre for larger sizes.
wow this is so pretty!
