Did anyone else have to add more to your chain at the first row ? I had to do 82. I was doing looses stitches too but it was very short at 66 chain ups.

I finished it. I got lazy on the sleeves, so I just did a double crochet, chain 1 mesh for that. Looks amazing. I'm going to wear it today for 1st time.

In regards to the beginning chain of 66, it just didn’t seem right because in her ‘yellow summer sweater’ she started with 84 chains. I’m not sure what weight her new yarn is but I used a dk weight and 84 starting chains.

How many yarn skeins did you use? (How many black and how many white) I would like to use your yarn but idk how many I should order
i don’t see is taking more than 1 for each color, obviously depending on skein size but 150 g of each should be enough i think
For me it took about 200g of each color but it depends on your size and your hook/tension, somewhere between 150 and 200g should probably be enough if you want an ovesized size S or M
Using Lillys sugar and cream cotton yarn with a 4.5mm hook. 100 chain length to start! Using 8 colors! I’ll let you know how it turns out!

it shouldn't matter, I am working on it now, grabbed some yarn and used the recommended hook size for that yarn.

The tails hanging off the sweater are distracting and take away from the beauty of the piece. And it is beautiful. Weave in your ends for a more chic and professional look. Otherwise it just looks lazy.
i think that the loose tails look cool! I've never made a sweater without weaving in the ends, but i'm going to see how this turns out! working on it now
