Thank you Angela. Straight lines, oh my!! At first it was a bit of a struggle. Now using your methods it is getting easier. It is really fun and the quilting is coming out nice. You are such a great teacher and inspiration!
Angela, you are an excellent teacher-I am learning soooo much. The expanded resources are worth the extra few dollars. I am sure I will refer to them often in the future. Thank you!
Thank you Angela! You make this so doable, and make us think “outside the box”! I have done so many of your challenges and it has helped me lose the “quilters amnesia” and fear of trying!
Finally started my panel for Dot to Dot 3 days ago! I’m almost done with week 2, so I wanted to watch week 3, which I should be ready for tomorrow (day 4)! Yeah!!
Love these designs. I have a question: Do you have a vision for design placement when you start the quilt or are you more “free flow” and just quilt a design when and where you feel like placing it?
This demo is going so fast from one area to another. You show us how to do this but don't see you moving your ruler at all. I love your quilting but it's so speedy for a demo.
Angela did a FMQ challenge called “Machine Quilting with Rulers” where she shows how she moves the rulers. I’d suggest you check out the videos in that challenge to see how she moves the rulers. The links to all those videos are on her website under the Free Motion Challenge area on her website. Hope this helps.
You can slow the speed of the video by clicking on the wheel cog icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on the Speed setting and slow it down a bit. She really is talking super fast or has, herself, sped up the video a bit.

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again…. (My mantra as a newbie at rulerwork.) Thank you Angela for inspiration and encouragement….❤

Newer FMQ'er here and you have made me less fearful with the simplistic designs. This is alot of fun
Morning from snowy Michigan! Taking a hot cup of tea to my sewing room, to sketch and quilt. 😊
I really am enjoying these classes. Thanks, Angela
You are so great. Easy to get intimidated.
I loved the pop up window that showed your stitching section while you were sewing. It made sense ! Love this, racing out to try it now!
