This is my 5th challenge with Angela and I have learned so much. I never thought I'd be able to do free motion quilting but with Angela's encouragement I can! And this challenge has been great to help me get comfortable using rulers.
Great video with interesting options. I appreciate you focusing on reorienting by using your finger to track the course of stitching. I did that twice last week and it saved me from making a mistake and having to unsew my work. I’m gonna have to watch this one a couple of times to maximize what I’m learning. Wish I had a second quilt prepped to practice more. Have a great week!!
This my 4th challenge with Angela Walters. I absolutely love all I have learned from her videos. She breaks it down so it becomes easy for anyone. I think she is most amazing. She manages all of this with a family and is so down to earth.
1) im really grooving on this challenge. Really helpful information 2) its so fun to watch you grown and improve as an educator. Go back and look at some of your earlier challenges and see how your are just better now explaining the process. (Also the panels are better 😂). Thank you for all your work. Sincerely - the masses
Always love your videos! I've gotten so brave with my quilting because of you and things are definitely improving. Be sure to emphasize the low vs high shank rulers. The first one I bought was 1/4 inch thick (before I knew there was a difference) and too difficult to use on my low shank machine. Looking forward to all your videos all the time!
The earliest hearing loss that women experience, sometimes as early as 50, is differentiation between background and foreground sound. It can feel painful. Some people here expressed that they were struggling with this when the music was playing. It can be almost impossible if people are forced (due to their living situations) to use headphones to listen to videos. No one expects people to produce professional videos where the sound is balanced. And some people could express their frustration more carefully. Please hear the feedback in its factual context and discard any tone that feels attacking. Of course, Angela does a fantastic job and everyone who comes here is using different devices and may not be literate yet about Settings in the lower right hand corner, where one can access closed caption to allow us to either turn off the volume completely or even to alter the speed of the video and slow it down or speed it up slightly. I love Angela's positivity. It would be great if we viewers could be as inclusive as she is. Thank you for all the thought you put into both your production and content Angela.
I love your comment and completely agree. I have hearing loss and was struggling with my hearing brain to keep up with the instruction. My daughter suggested 75% playback. I didnt even know I could do that! 75% is perfect for me and honestly I haven't noticed background music. But with hearing loss I'm used to ignoring background noise. I love this challenge!
LOOOVE your teaching and style! But a recommendation… please ask your editor to exclude or soften the background music while you’re speaking. It occasionally makes it hard to focus on and hear your incredible teaching. Thanks for alllll you do!
I tried to watch you LIVE today==BUT do you air at 7AM Pacific tine???? Will this be weekly? I have a question, you show in red on a diagram what blocks to quilt with each new design. However, I am trying, for the first time, to do a pillow panel. There are not that many blocks so I do not know which blocks correspond to each week. Could you show a quick diagram of which pillow blocks to do as each week lesson continues? Thanx in advance.

Great and amazing instructions, Angela. You're so inspiring!
I love Angela's positive attitude and the acceptance of all quilters, no matter their level of experience and ability.
Love this series. I just used the Dot to Dot to quilt a tree skirt made out of Dresden's-turned out great!

Can you quilt the geometric quilting motif from the inside out so you don't have to stop to move on to another spot?
So much good information
Do we know when the stencil you are using is going to be available?
How to square up the panel
Sorry I’m late had to clean snow from my porch

The live Q&A session is on Thursday. 4PM EST. I think the Tuesday video is prerecorded instructional video.
I am not receiving the emails about the free download. I am not receiving emails at all. I signed up multiple times.🤷🏻♀️
How can I do that has I do hand quilting
The music does not enhance the learning value of this video and can be distracting.
Hit that MUTE button sweetie...or you can go find another video...there are HUNDREDS....
please turn off that annoying whistling "music"
Not everyone finds it annoying. However you could mute it and use the closed caption and read her instructions. Let's everyone get along peaceable.
Great and amazing instructions! Thanks Angela!!! You're so inspiring!
