Awesome hacks as always, and super useful set of 5 that cover all kinds of aspects of skills that people fishing use today, but the coolest thing was you sending folks over to Ted’s page to get the details on his hack. Great hacks again! I have used the tape for quite awhile and never had one come loose. I have one rod that only has two slide rings (no threads) so after I got them as tight on the reel as I could, I wrapped them with gauze tape and they are still hanging in there 14 years later!
Love it. Helpful hacks and hilarious. Legitimately was having trouble with reel seats coming loose and about to go away for a week on a trip trying to work out how to solve it. Sorted now thankyou 🙏🏽
Really appreciate your work Keith..I will use every one of these hacks! I’ll be fixing reel seats, softening throw net, then making up some surf weights (the price has skyrocketed over the years.😳). Then hopefully I’ll be using your camera setting advice to get some Good pictures of the fish I catch at night, using the rugby rig or along the beach! Thanks a lot buddy! 👍👍🎣✌️

Well done Sir . You can do like a friend dose with social media he will post photos of large Steel head trout on anther creek than we plain to fish the day before . For the rod wrap I like to use shrink wrap

I made a selfie stick to hold my cellphone it fits in my pedal seat hole. I fish a lot by myself works great for taking pictures of the big one. Love your channel keep up the good work

Love your hacks and I downloaded a lot of them. I've recently got a bunch of plastic jigs for cheap, but like you said weighted hooks are expensive. Thanks for the hacks! Great seeing you matching up my favorite Ugly Stick rod with an Abu Garcia reel. Been using this combo for decades.

Instead of the plumbing tape, I’ve used permatex gasket maker. Works well! It acts as a thread locker and breaks loose easily when needed.
Funny how when I see a new upload from Keith it puts a smile on my face. Thank you Keith!

Small zip tie will keep reel from coming loose and also works as a hook keeper/attaching point to. Another great vid especially the surf weight diy! Thanks

Love your videos. I tried a couple of the hacks and they work great!. Your channel is one of the best fishing hack channels I have seen. I even have my 10 year old son watching you! I started saving your videos after I watch them so I could watch them again. Not for the fishing hacks, but to inspire me to make better videos. A person can learn a lot from watching your videos about how to make good TH-cam videos.

The castnet in fabric softener works well. I fish mainly in saltwater and it keeps the net from being stiff and helps open the net up. The one thing I do differently since the first time I soaked mine is that I do not soak the main line anymore. That line was slippery the first few times after soaking and made for fun times pulling in the bait😀

I'm at 7.5 months PO. Still healing and trying not to lift anything over 20 lbs per Dr's order. Dr says about 1 year my restrictions should be lifted. I'm 59 years old with 3 stage ACDF. I'm mowing grass and hunting and fishing. Thanks for the videos. We need positive stories like this

Those are some excellent fishing hacks Buddy 👍🎣. Graeme form T.A fishing, also did a video on ( what us English people ) call . Gripper, brack away leads. For sea Fishing from the shore, so that. When you are reeling back in. The prongs fold back, & don't get snagged 😃.
FYI Keith about the plumbers tape. You want to wrap the tape opposite direction to the way you tighten down the seat, just like with pipe fittings. Reason being is that 1) It's less likely to come undone, and 2) The tape locks in better. This is the way I was taught and it works great. For your light, instead of using a higher wattage bulb like 60 or 100 watt bulb use a 40 watt bulb. Also use soft white vs daylight bulbs because, obviously, it's a softer white light
That was great loved it thanks for sharing chemo is wearing me down but as soon as this is over I'm planning on going fishing again and I'll have a lot of great hacks to work on lol
