      @Jeff Fritz ..Agree! As an avid fan and enthusiastic contributor to the Audio community online as a whole.. with interest in design and pursuit of the highest level product / art / expression of design... I'm always thrilled to hear how dedicated.. interested and passionate these Audio God Fathers in design still are today.
      These moments with designers are incredibly influential and inspiring in motivating further investment into the hobby. 🙏🙏🙏

    Great interview. It is great to have designer to openly talk about the principle of his speaker. In theory, it is great that to have two bass drivers producing equal and opposite forces to cancel out cabinet movement. However, in practise, one will never have two equal bass drivers. There are always variances. Hence, there are always minute forces applied to the cabinet. G1S still benefits from spiking in my opinion.

      Yes to a very tiny degree. And what differences there are are mitigated by the rubber o rings that the speaker drivers are mounted on - i.e. they are not actually bolted to the cabinet. Spiking on a conventional loudspeaker just puts the energy of the cabinet into the floor. There is so little energy in the cabinet of a Giya speaker I don't see the point myself in spiking, but each to their own. (Owner and user)
