Went to a local hifi show, last Sunday, at the Crown Plaza hotel here in Copenhagen. At the show I got to hear a lot of expensive stuff like top of the line Stenheim Alumine, Avantgarde Omega Two actively driven by current drive amplification and the newest Magic A5. In the same room as the Magic’s the switched back and forth between the Magic and the Vivid Acoustics Kaya S12. My conclusion was and is that the Kaya S12 was by far the best speaker at the show. It is stunningly transparent (crystal clear) and at the same time devoid of all the hardness and shrill sounding upper midrange seemingly plaguing all other speakers at the show (Magic apart, but they don’t possess the Uber transparency). It’s a rare occasion when the cheapest product at show is by miles the best. Well done Laurence Dickie and Vivid Acoustic 👍
