Anybody can claim sigma. But people are forgetting that you can't learn to be sigma or alpha. It's natural and people born that way alot of people here are pretenders. Well first i had made a long text to explain to you how dangerous a sigma can be but it can be shorten like this: Don't you think tha a smart guy with pleinty of skills having gained the trust of his surrounding people often considered as the "doctor house" of his unit , knowing sometime better than you what drives you because he has a scaner instead of the eyes and still a body language skill is not the good guy to try to mess with ? We dislike conflict but we know what we have to put on the table no matter the means to solve any kind of conflict wich has become a serious issue we can not avoid, right ? I can only deal with people i don't know and only for short periods of time. I tend to avoid talking to people who know me well, or that i know well. Short, friendly conversations with strangers that i can walk away from and never see again is the only social interaction i need. I have been tested and found that I am an INTJ, which correlates to being the most Sigma among the Myers Briggs personality types. This video is a cautionary tale that I would have benefitted from in my younger days. Instead I learned these lessons the hard way, by pounding my way through the jungle of life, like King FREAKING Kong. The Wisdom that I would have gain from this video would have spared me from some costly blundering. At that time there was limited knowledge, seeing only two types, Alpha and Beta. I would not be caught dead being a subservient Beta, so I thought it was my duty to challenge the Alphas. I found that I could outmaneuver and defeat the Alphas one-on-one, but they had the advantage of rallying simple minded Betas to do their bidding. (like the Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz) Betas are more likely to follow an Alpha, but not a Sigma. Go figure.
Mostly accurate, but not completely. Most of the description matches the INTJ personality, but there are some exceptions because you cannot get everything. The parts with "knowing and exploiting your weaknesses" and "reading other people" are more true for INFJs. If you can read other people and predict what they will do is different from the INTJ approach which is simply preparing for everything you can do, much like a brute force attack. The outcome is the same. Also I think there is no holding a grudge, at least to a point. In most cases we will forgive if you change your opinion (which most people never do). The red line is betraying our trust, that is irreversible.
So true! I was always the quiet sigma, the lone wolf. But now I learned to be charismatic as a tool to connect/network with other people. It's dangerous as sigmas (I am) like a magnet. People are drawn to me in such a way that they become very clingy and loyal. It's strange sometimes as I don't mean to manipulate them, but it naturally happens. I can convert and convince others without any effort, especially because of the logical frame of mind.

Well first i had made a long text to explain to you how dangerous a sigma can be but it can be shorten like this: Don't you think tha a smart guy with pleinty of skills having gained the trust of his surrounding people often considered as the "doctor house" of his unit , knowing sometime better than you what drives you because he has a scaner instead of the eyes and still a body language skill is not the good guy to try to mess with ? We dislike conflict but we know what we have to put on the table no matter the means to solve any kind of conflict wich has become a serious issue we can not avoid, right ? I do not know what about you but worst than a conflict is a long lasting conflict...I think that most sigma can close cases fastly.
I sometimes simulate emotional outbursts just to keep people from realizing I dont have "feelings".

Zeta male here! This is so true about Sigmas!! They are built differently, in no way do they derive an identity from TH-cam videos they way they derived an identity from Hollywood films, no way. I have been tested and found that I am an INTJ, which correlates to being the most Sigma among the Myers Briggs personality types.
This video is a cautionary tale that I would have benefitted from in my younger days. Instead I learned these lessons the hard way, by pounding my way through the jungle of life, like King FREAKING Kong.
The Wisdom that I would have gain from this video would have spared me from some costly blundering.
At that time there was limited knowledge, seeing only two types, Alpha and Beta. I would not be caught dead being a subservient Beta, so I thought it was my duty to challenge the Alphas.
I found that I could outmaneuver and defeat the Alphas one-on-one, but they had the advantage of rallying simple minded Betas to do their bidding. (like the Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz)
Betas are more likely to follow an Alpha, but not a Sigma. Go figure.

Mostly accurate, but not completely. Most of the description matches the INTJ personality, but there are some exceptions because you cannot get everything. The parts with "knowing and exploiting your weaknesses" and "reading other people" are more true for INFJs. If you can read other people and predict what they will do is different from the INTJ approach which is simply preparing for everything you can do, much like a brute force attack. The outcome is the same.
Also I think there is no holding a grudge, at least to a point. In most cases we will forgive if you change your opinion (which most people never do). The red line is betraying our trust, that is irreversible.

So true! I was always the quiet sigma, the lone wolf. But now I learned to be charismatic as a tool to connect/network with other people. It's dangerous as sigmas (I am) like a magnet. People are drawn to me in such a way that they become very clingy and loyal. It's strange sometimes as I don't mean to manipulate them, but it naturally happens.
