Phil I always admired your generosity in schooling in the art of fly fishing. you seem like a very good soul. just wanted to say that.

Phil, I started fishing some of your Dragonfly patterns. The takes are hard..hold on to the rod! 😊

I believe because they are a year around food source, and the dragon fly nymphs can live up to a couple years I believe. Please correct me if I am wrong anybody out there. Thought that is what Phil has told me thru a different video in the past 👍. Phil is a legend!

How strong a tippet ; 4x 3x did you use when you broke off while fishing The foam dragon?

It’s too bad Sage doesn’t sell that gear bag any longer, it is bulletproof and rainproof. Mine is about 20 years old and looks brand new, just like yours.

Agreed Brian, I have one of these too and they are excellent quality and really hold up. Sad they no longer sell them and their aluminum travel rod tubes
