Very nicely done. Being fairly new to fly tying, I really appreciated your detailed explanation during the tying process. I looked throughout your videos and could not find any videos showing how to knot the ends of your boots. Do you use the same technique that’s used for knotting pheasant tail fibers ?

ive seen pictures of these flies but never the technique. Thanks so much for teaching us. It looks fantastic but teeth of the trout would probably pull the yarn? Worth it to fish such a great pattern.

Thanks for the comment R C. Well, there are pretty durable, more when you use Antron yarn. But even from poly yarn, I have several for years in my fly boxes. I recall from last summer, on the Sava in Slovenia I took about 15 trouts from one hole with a big crocheted nymph, and is still as new :)

OutdoorsIn Ontario Thanks, well I will not say it's a big difference in normal conditions.. not a miracle fly of course. But, for selective fish and/or in gin-clear water as well as when fish start to be selective, after few days of intensive hatching of these creatures.. It can be a big deal.
