I bought this at the Guitar Center near me. Got home, installed the batteries, plugged it into my Hohner Beatles bass, and was amazed at the sound quality of this little device through my headphones.
I have version 2 and it's seriously one of my favorite things. It is my practice amp any time i travel. I just plug it into a little speaker. I have actually played church services with it.
I have the original one. They’re surprisingly awesome! Definitely doesn’t sound like an ac30, but sounds damn good. It will easily do metal 😂. It will also do basically everything in between. They’re surprisingly really dynamic with your picking and volume knob.
You're not gonna get Queen tones with this amplug, I have the Brian May model and from what I can tell from this video this model has a way more modern tone. Not the gritty treble boost.
I just received the amplug3 AC30 in the mail today. The good: IF this is what an AC 30 really sounds like I robbed myself for years. (I'm a Marshall fanboy from years ago.) The clean is crisp and articulate the dirty is well good. For what this thing is it's better then NUX or Fender. It's easy to use It's a keeper. BAD: The controls are hard to see even with glasses on and my Pixil for a light source No Good Vox! I am getting interference from something (It's more then 60cycle hum,i have that also) I'm sure it's my expensive headphones. Just bringing it up so others know about it. I really like to tones from it. My Gretsch and Tele sound really good. Like I said It's a keeper. may get another one if I can figure out the interference.

Can’t wait to see what a treble booster would sound like with channel one
It arrives at our door in 4 hours and it is very exciting!!
love it!!!
Im struggling with getting the rhythm going. Any tips?
@@Neo_NotTheOneyup! Play along with drum tracks to feeeeeel the groove of the music during practice times
@@rockyandsarah i meant how to start it. i got mine yesterday but couldnt start the rhythm
@@Neo_NotTheOne oh I haven’t tried that part yet I am still trying to dial in the sound. It is pretty good needs some tenderness
⚡️ Stick a fuzz in the effects please VOX ⚡️
I'm planning to buy one of these, can they also be plugged to bigger amps and still get its effects?
@Vox Amps So which one, this one or the Brian May amplug 2 one that came out a few months ago? Is there any difference in the sounds?

@haftners r
Thanks for tip, I go for the Brian May 😊

Can I connect to my phone via Bluetooth to record videos?
Er, the audio for the video.
How do I record from this direct to my PC. Or phone ? Do I need any separate software etc ? Can anyone help me with this please?
Just a quick question. Does this work a semi acoustic guitar or it’s meant only for electric guitars?
Get an acoustic amp or a pa for that. I would even say just plugging headphones straight in has a shot at working
wait, if this is a headphone amp why can we hear the sounds? 😭
So that's a 9 volt adapter with the wire going to it, right?
No, it is powered by 2 aaa batteries (replaceable, obviously).
These will eat your batteries if you use headphones. Earplug types are required.
there is no manual , nor a decent video ..........
This people from Vox don't know about nux migthy plug pro? Ir's, app, Bluetooth, etc,etc
well i'm glad vox keeps doing these full analog not only for sound quality, but also for simplicity and ease of use
Went with amplug specifically b/c it's not Bluetooth. Less to go wrong.
Weak demonstration.
What were you looking for in the demo?
