My growatt 12kw has killed 2 fridges with dirty power output. Lots of distortion/voltage fluctuations. Definitely not UPS-grade. Currently trying to get support assistance though something tells me there’s nothing I can do but replace them with a better brand
I would like to see lower voltage battery support. I realize this would likely take an architecture change. In the US, 48-volt outdoor is becoming pretty common. The Growatt, Tigo, LG packs just cost too much. Especially if someone doing solar wants to prepare for time of use conversion.
Isn’t there a way to rig an EG4 of some other less expensive battery to it? 48V helps keep most of the wires and components cooler compared to 12V, for example, because 1/4 the amps reduces resistance exponentially. You also lose less converting 48V DC to 240V AC compared starting at 12V.
