Unless you know how to interpret the results of the test it can be misleading for a lay-person to look at the aftermath. I'm not saying it didn't perform terribly, I don't know, i'm just saying that roll overs often look terrible, because the car crumples by design. It's only the passenger cell we're interested in.
What I find funny is the millions spent on the testing (which is good) but then hes grabbing photo data with a cheap little camera (lol) someone buy that dude a DSLR or something a bit better.
my 2009 mercedes ml550 is way safer. in january, i had a one time rollover into a grass median, and everyone was fine, and barely bruised. my ex girlfriend got rear ended in her 2008 bmw x5, and suffered a broken collarbone, and a bruised tailbone. bmw lost my support years agooooo
Yes that is why BMW is sucks, cuz those sensors brake on 2nd 3rd year and you have to pay for everything, diagnostic (100+ per hour), sensor it self (from 400 to couple thousands), replacement (100+ per hour again), and everything that went off cuz of chain reaction of electronic malfunctions because you drive some time with broken sensor. And you not safe from it will went off again tomorrow. Who ever have BMW will understand me...
not a big fan of the X6 on a whole but its amazing that they had such a hard time getting it to roll
rollover tests is usually a point lower than the other categories with most cars. It's hard to find a 5* rating in this area.

I like when the men say; it's a challenge to make the vehicule roll. it's just prooving that the X6 is probabely the best handling VUS out there.

because some cars hazard light turn on automatically after an airbag deploys therefore reducing the likelihood of another crash.

They are automatically turned on when a airbag, does not matter which one, is deployed for safety reason on the highway :)

Bmw are great performance vehicles but they have a alot of catching up to do compared to their European rivals!
