Today's video has been anticipated for a long time... we bring in DANCING TROLLS! This is one of the best AOE leveling spots for mages, and used to be one of the best open world gold farms as well in classic wow. The loot has been nerfed a bit, but the experience is still fantastic! In this video we show how to get to the location, do each of the pulls, and what happens when things go wrong!

Working on ZF rn, was feeling disheartened with the prospect of doing "actual" levelling for the 50s but there you go. You fixed my life (again!).

For anybody wondering: This is still viable in the wotlk pre-patch. I'm doing this right now as a lvl 54 frost mage.

For the few people that may be looking forward to trying this farm on Turtle WoW, the mobs are friendly even to the alliance so it will not work.

I definitely used this spot but it wasn't until 56. From 56-58 I died maybe 4 times total which is just a learning curve of CoC 25+ mobs in one group. It was a very successful spot though. Uncontested and pretty much free reign. I either got incredibly lucky or they didn't fix the loot, I got Krol Blade and Destiny within 15 mins of each other during 56-58. Thanks for uploading a guide for this farm. I can't stress this enough though, I would not start this location even with blizzard before 56. Because of resist to slows it would make for a stressful time. I just hit up Dalsons Tears farm in WPL to fill the gap from 54-56.
That's why I found it safer to just do the blizz strat and do 2 pulls. A few less mobs each pull but saves ton of time when not risking dying and the walk back lol

Can you do a WP from 50+? As Horde.
Doing these pulls post-nerf in TBC classic is MUCH harder, as you won't deal as much dmg on each mob anymore. It might still be possible, you would just have to make smaller pulls.
So when I did this there is a way to get there from darkshore and I think it shaves time off the walk but there is a spot that can be a major pain to jump on and get through. Other than that I did this farm until 58 to do ZG. I found that doing it with 2 total pulls and Blizz build made it a lot safer (only died once the whole time because of a fail blink lol) although you do get less mobs per pull and have to deal with kind of sitting around to wait for respawn for a few minutes. Overall this spot is great and I made a ton of gold doing it as well! Great guide!
any spot for horde mages?

if you die do you have to res or is there an easy way to run back
I just tried this, and died because one mob wouldnt get frost nova'd. the walk back sucks ass for this spot
I have gotten stuck 3 times in the crevice, at 56 my slow mount can't clear the holes, am I missing something
You can simply use Slow Fall for that jump to be sure
These mobs seem to resist frost nova unlike any other, have died so much because of it lol
Could you do a post aoe cap guid 4 rfc , bsf and zg ?

It wont work in sod. the mobs hp is now 5-6k
When you say "Duskwood" do you mean "Darkshore"?

U mean darkshore not duskwood :) used this spot to boost alts from lvl 1 while farming cloth. Since phase 2 but since nerf not worth it for me

what to do if they resist ur nova on 54...
Come back at level 55 or better 56. It's not a viable spot at 54 at all

Yup you can still farm gold there! They just nerfed it to try to reduce the bots that were going there.

Pallies could get there rp walking, but they'd struggle on the kills.

I discovered this spot by accident after struggling in Mara and did 55-60 here in about 7.5 hours. Can't believe there were no popular guides but now this spot will be ruined
Yup so I held posting this for a year haha but since I did it in my world record attempt, a lot of people were asking for it.

I've leveled over 7 characters here to 60 and know knew it. hhaha
So basically this is easiest way to level an alt from very beginning (I'd suggest after +30lvl). You park there your alt and boost it with your mage. This is an open world, so it doesn't have any limit with boosting dungeons and your mage gets nice 50-60g an hour sometimes libram of constitution or velocity drops which is nice +500g bonus. This can be quiet AFK aswell, you just farm one set of group mobs (the big group) and no need to run around. Every 10 min or so your alt gets nice xp when the mobs respawn at that specific spot.

@@arlaeus9491 Maybe you can help me out real quick though, i know the dustwallow marsh is good starting at 36, but would you go from 36-40 there? i plan to hit zf at 40 so i wasnt sure if there was a better way from 38-40.

It was secret enough for there not to be any competition. Just got here yeaterday at 56 and nonody was there. Hope it stays that way lol
