I got ACAD in 2013 and it took until your videos in 2022 to discover and use Paper Space. I still put everything in Model Space because I don't like staring at a white screen. Back then it was a hair-pulling, daunting, and sometimes dumpster fire trying to use the manual to figure stuff out. Thank God for TH-cam and Indians otherwise I would have quit. But Your's is the only ACAD channel I've subbed to - it is by far the best, if only because it is in English. I just discovered XLINE and OFFSET and it's allowed a whole new level of productivity. TH-cam IS my team since I'm a sole prop and drafting is only a small (but significant) aspect of what I do. The next big thing drafting wise is for me to understand and use Layers. Currently I have a semi-standard set I use and try to ignore the ACAD defaults, but they are intimitely tied to COGO point Styles and Labels. I'd really like to understand how to make Point Styles and Labels independent of Layers or if this is a fundamental design limitation of ACAD. Ditto for the North Reference frame of Model Space. I have a sneaking suspicion this is not a design flaw of ACAD, but I haven't figured out how to set things up to override it. Perhaps it's also to use Paper Space as well, but there again, it would be nice to be able to view PaperSpace in "Dark Mode". Anyway, thanks for reading and thanks for your continued support. Eventually I'll sign up for your course....maybe this winter...
Hey @blackmanops3749 That's awesome and I'm so glad the videos have helped you along the way! Yes there are certainly methods to making point styles and labels somewhat independent of layer, though everything in ACAD for the most part is tied to whichever layer it's one. You can have some settings that are independent of layers and in the case of C3D and points/labels there are some settings that allow points to easily be assigned different layers depending on the type or point/style etc... You can definitely work in paperspace in a "Dark Mode" you can adjust almost every color/style of the GUI in AutoCAD through the options menu, this video shows how to change colors in the basic sense, you'll just have to dig a bit to find the various paperspace elements you'd like to change th-cam.com/video/iK7Fj08ZPDY/w-d-xo.html I'll make a video in the next week or so about how to create a custom "Dark Mode" for paperspace as well!! Cheers and have a great day
For paper space you can change the color of the background, like you can for the model space. You can go to tools-> options-> color. From the list you can choose the paper space background and change it from white to whatever you like. I changed it to black in fact
@@RiccardoVanigiani Found it. On my version it was slightly different. Now that I did this, I remember trying it out a long time ago and switching back to white because I get a better sense of how colors render on a white sheet. Might be with playing around with the different options though. Thanks for sharing.

You are saying correct giving the right teaching of your watcher. Is the basic but fundamental of CAD Soft Drafting.
