Tom sends chills up my spine with his passion and intensity. When I saw him in person, I was just mesmerized. His incredible voice carried right through the theatre. I will never forget it....
My mom saw TJ live in the 80s. She along with all the other women, was very taken by his animal magnetism. Elvis and he had that in common, along with an operatic singing style...you can see why they were friends.
Live No Autotune Nothing but pure emotion & Honest Talent This song & his style of singing is meant to just reach right out & touch your heart & soul & give you chills. Sir tom Jones even at 80-81 can still sing with this amount of power & purity in his voice.. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this
I loved your video first of all. But I really appreciated hearing you say vulnerability is strength, and you're right. Because it takes courage to display your inner emotions sometimes, especially for men. Keep singing and being vulnerable!
Dear Dani I'm very new to following you. I found you while playing Elvis and I found your passion for Him very awesome. I listened to all my favorite singers to see what you think about them. I was amazed with your voice doing Tom Jones I who have nothing. I look forward to hearing. More from you and your videos. Especially Thank you very much Thursday 😊😊
I absolutely love your version of that classic song. Outstanding. You would do well on one of those talent shows for more exposure. Just remember what happened with Susan Boyle in the UK. And some kudos to the songwriters: Giulio Mogol Rapetti / Carlo Donida / Mike Stoller / Jerry Leiber
Yea Dani it was alot of snow in NYC yesterrday. It was beautiful, bit the cleanup went well. Your version of the song was great. Love everything about it. Beautiful video. Tom jones I heard got both his vaccines. I met Tom. I wrote it in another comment. A very nice guy. Do you know he still meets with Elvis' ex wife for lunch on many occasions. You have to hear his song Thunderball for the James Bond Movie. Sending my love to you Dani, keep up the great work.
Great reaction Tom Jones another timeless voice. It's -48c here which is about -54f. Trying to stay warm have baileys and coffee and if i need some whiskey but baileys should be enough use to the cold now. Are you watching the super bowl today.
Hey Miss Dani, Yes mate, the snow storm over your state made the news back here. WOW. You folks copped a real dump. So snuggle up enjoy your hot cocoa or chocolate and stay cozy, warm and safe. That’s an order Miss Dani. Now, Sir Tom Jones eh? WOW, this man can sing. He’s sure got a strong set of lungs. The man has such a strong presence when he performs. Great reaction “dude”. Loved it.Next time.❤️👍🇦🇺🤪😁☮️
Before Tom Jones sang this it was most associated with Shirley Bassey, who recorded it in 1963 and has performed it at almost every live concert she gives: th-cam.com/video/jmOCDc3xLCs/w-d-xo.html I saw a video of a duet between Shirley and Tom, and I have to say, Shirley's voice overpowered his. And have you seen this video of Angelina Jordan recording *I (Who Have Nothing)* when she was six years old!?: th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html
I LIKE IT the way you didit I thought you really got glued to the window itwas very nicehowyou hit last note A clip thst Tom Jone sing the same song to Raqual Welsh check itout
I don't know who gave me a thumbs up thank you so very much I love to here someone's take on old classic music and this was just angelic compared to this powerful Ballard from Sir Tom Jones
A very beautiful and passionate rendition you give of this song, Dani! TJ was the first person I heard sing this song. A very powerful performance! Another great version of this I've heard is by Petula Clark. Done around 5 years before Tom's. A little more subdued and lovely orchestration and organ work. Please check it out.
Great pick Dani. You sound amazing Dani...I would like to hear you sing the whole song...you really have the goods to become a star...you look great by the way...just saying...
She performs the whole song on her TH-cam Home page. You should check out some her other cover songs as well. My favorite is Shallow, LADY GAGA & BRADLEY COOPER! Just click her name or icon above.
th-cam.com/video/WgSk75vVw4k/w-d-xo.html The link is to Haley Reinhart singing I Who Have Nothing on American Idol back in 2011. It's the most exquisite cover of that song I have ever watched. As Haley's vocal is superb and her emoting and performance are both off the chart. Other contestants had also performed that song on American Idol as well, but none of them could match Haley's vocal ability and Haley's ability to emote, which makes her version a cut above everyone else who performed that song on the show.
Okay, she is very good indeed, i like her. Maybe you like this one too. th-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/w-d-xo.html She is a 6 yo Norwegian girl, reading the English lyrics.
@@AndrewVOdom Andrew, I respect your opinion. I listened to Toms performance again and I am kind of disappointed. He has a world class voice but this song doesn't highlight his talent. I'm sorry but I don't care for his interpretation, it's to...operatic? Only a fool would try to cover "I'll Never Fall In Love Again", It's a CLASSIC and gave me a newfound respect for Tom Jones (he was before my time). Now I understand why people loved him! But with respect to "I Who Have Nothing" the lyrics seem to lend themselves to a woman's voice somehow. I'm just a formerly deaf, retired Lawyer, so my musical opinion doesn't really count for much...but I know what I like!
@@barryjustice655 Fair enough, Sir. The studio version (or at least the album version I first heard) by Tom Jones has extra “heft” than heard here on his TV show- including the very last guitar licks...
I have this song I would like for you to react to it's a song I think you will love very much if you react to it or even if you don't if you just listen to it the name of the singer is Allison krauss and the name of the song is when You say nothing at All.
Dani I have watched your cover a few times and enjoyed it more each time. Nice of you to react to the great Tom Jones with his version. Hopefully you will react to Angelina again soon. She covered this song at age 6 in a recording studio, it is her best of the few she recorded at that age. Angelina also has a few Elvis covers so you have plenty to choose from. The snow is certainly piling up in February.
Hi dani...this is such a powerful and emotional song. Would you please listen to " I' ll Never Fall In Love Again" by Elvis. It is also very powerful... Thank you for your amazing reactions.🌻
Baby awesome, so I must say, you're so gorgeous and love your channel honey, beep up the awesomeness dear heart. Love you always. Mitch. Thanks, happy soon aping.
Not a good recording. For some reason they've turned the orchestration up and lowered the level of his voice to the point he can't be heard clearly, and so much is lost. Sadly, this became the norm for recording strong and even operatic singers.
Tom sends chills up my spine with his passion and intensity. When I saw him in person, I was just mesmerized. His incredible voice carried right through the theatre. I will never forget it....
I had the same reaction.
Came here for Tom, and enjoyed a graceful surprise. You're very talented, young lady. Congratulations.
The finale is breathtaking. The blend of power and emotion is sublime.
He does, “You’ll never walk alone” like no other.
I notice Tom physically pumping himself up before he starts singing, like a boxer just before a fight starts. Getting ready to give this song his all.
My mom saw TJ live in the 80s. She along with all the other women, was very taken by his animal magnetism. Elvis and he had that in common, along with an operatic singing style...you can see why they were friends.

His voice is perfect. And a great version from you. X
No surprise he and Elvis respected each other.
His vocal range is bananas 💯👍
Very impressive, Miss Dani.......keep perfecting your talent. Obviously, you are the real deal.
Check out "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" which was memorably covered by both Elvis and Tom Jones. Originally a hit for Dusty Springfield.
Walter Panovs, that is a personal favorite of mine. Flawless performance by Elvis.
He sings his songs with such passion and emotions.....
Tom is the #1 Voice.. Still sings today.. Love Him!!!!
Dani your channel is fabulous. Keep on your journey of learning from the Greats!
I have grown up with Tom John's and he is a legend and you have done him proud with your version excellent well done. 💯👌🌹💞

In the UK, this song is associated with Shirley Bassey and it was a top 10 hit for her in 1963. Mind you, Tom's performance here is amazing.
Her Goldfinger song was amazing, too!

Dani some one felt hurt so much and put
there feelings down in words , then some one that is able to express in song sing delivers like Tom delivered
Wow!!!... Dani, you too have a great voice. Applause. I like your cover.
Those "little 70's effects" in the background is a guitar player with a wa-wa pedal.

You should do a back to back video of Tom Jones singing you’ll never walk alone then do Elvis’s version

Tom Jones is the best male pop singer of all time. Even Elvis gave his tribute to him.
Loved your reaction Dani and lovely video from you x
I WHO HAVE NOTHING is a cover of a Ben E King original. Tom Jones has his original hits, but the majority are covers.
Hey Dani, UNCLE J -MAN LATE AGAIN. Love this song and Tom Jones. He would totally appreciate you cover of it.
Great Job. ❤️❤️
Hi dani great song shirley bassey sings that song you need to hear her voice sing it.
Right up there with Tom...
One of my very favorite covers of this song is by Jordan Sparks.

Have you heard Catherine Jenkins version of this song, Tom Jones doesn't leave anything in the locker room.
Beautiful tone you have in your voice,
from us elders to deliver express importance of lyrics words within a song xx
If you will research it this song was done in the late 60s or early 70s
Hi Dani I believe this is from his tv show.
'Without Love ' live. ...please. Awesome stuff.
I really love your voice and please don’t stop
Nice, always liked this song all though my favorite version is by Ben E King, former lead singer of the Drifters and the man did Stand By Me.

As a fellow New Yorker, you need to listen to the version of this song from the B’way review show “Smokey Joe’s Cafe”. Best. Version. Ever!!!
This was your masterclass

Here's a song or ballad everyone should hear at least once in my opinion, please give it a try .George Jones I O U . Tears of joy are never wasted 😎.
He's good at pulsing.
Bravo Dani... great job I’ll definitely watch it
You should hear Shirley basseys version
Tom is really good Your voice is awesome
Thank you!!!
Well done dani
I recommend the cover version from six-year-old Angelina (you already know her ...) great experience..
Another very fine reaction, very perceptive. Nobody like Sir Tom!
Try Tom Jones Rock n Roll Medley

Good cover Dani.
The song just works better coming from a man ( who's singing about a woman that he's lost to a wealthy man)
Re: your cover. I hope choosing an alternative vocal melody was intended, otherwise I'd swear you'd selected the wrong key.
