For years, Tom Jones was a regular performer in Las Vegas. He loves performing live. He's now 80 years old and can still belt out a song and has no plans to retire. "She's A Lady" is a great song. It went to #2 on the pop charts in 1971. It was written by Paul Anka.

I been a big fan of Tom all the way back to 1969. I was all of 10, but watch his variety show every Friday. Strange for a 10 year old back in the day. She’s a Lady was always one of my favorites. His music in the last ten years has been some of his best. He sung duets with everyone. Watch Tom with CSNY with Tom singing lead on their first hit A Long Time Gone.

Great mom takes good care of herself. I get up set some times when she is late going places we need to go but she will not leave till she feels she looks good. And at 43 she still does. Zumbas 4 to 5 days aweek. Always dress to kill and does get lots of looks. Asian long black past wiste.

According to Wikipedia the original series was broadcast weekly from 1964 to 2006, with some revival with later versions including archive footage. (Iwas born int the U.S. but grew up in England, my mother's homeland, from 1964 (age 7) to 1975 (age 18) and saw a lot of Tom Jones performances on various TV shows, including his own and Top of the Tops, during that time. Now in his 80s, Tom is now a co-host on the UK edition of the Voice, still going strong and performing in concerts. (He reortedly was a Vegas concert stage regular in the 1970s.)
I can remember thinking he was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen in my life. Loved Mr. Jones for decades. I was about 8 or 9 when I turned my mom and my middle sister on to him back when his show was still airing.
My grandfather used to sing this for my grandmother 😢

I think a lot of women wanted to be as special to somebody like he sings in this song. He sings right to people's hearts and souls. I was a kid when he became popular and he just took everything by storm. Like overnight. Also, he married his childhood sweetheart. They met when they were 12 and stayed married. She passed away a while ago and I'm sure he misses her a lot.
I was first aware of Tom when he released "Whats New Pussycat" which was a cute ditty which I and most of my contemporaries yelled along to. I quickly became aware of the majesty of his voice from this song which my teenage crush and I loved and Delilah. Thank you Dani for the trip down memory lane.

Lol That's funny. Those two being friends actually makes perfect sense. Elvis probably wanted someone on a very similar level to hang around with. Options are going to be extremely limited. :D With basically anyone else Elvis will always stand out from the crowd and then some! Tom however could pretty much hold his own alongside Elvis.

Had the pleasure of seeing Tom Jones live in Las Vegas around 2008 when he still had his “young” look...Kept an empty chair for my late mother who loved him and saw him live in the 70s.. PS Dani- did you take enough breaks on the Led Zep music they took down? Many of reaction videos that last frequently take breaks, as annoying as that can be...More likely they are bullying those who make use of the legal loophole about educational use...

The only problem I have is that the person reviewing the song has to stop the video every 5 minutes and make a comment lady shut the fuck up.
