Honestly.....i Like Chevrolet's progress on Small Cars......they Started making strides with the Cobalt...extending to the First Cruze....so its really amazing to see them finally turn out a Nice compact.
Why don't you have your own TV show already. You have the most in-depth, unbiased, informative yet simple analysis of automobiles I've seen on youtube.
seems like only yesterday I was shopping for a big body german sedan and I after watching your video of the Audi A8 I was sold! pulled a black a8 off the lot days later! thanks bro
Amazing video, as always. I've been here since you were at 30k subscribers and now you have 900k? I can't believe it. With every single video you've made the channal, and reviews have been getting better better and better each one. I can't wait to see the day you hit a million subscribers. I'll be here waiting, and watching as you cross that line. Well done Kyle. Here's to many more videos to come!
+Coley Sheats Thank you so much for supporting me for so long, I truly appreciate it! Everyday is a learning experience and I hope to always improve upon the original formula. At the end of the day, I want to deliver the best quality I can in a videos that's pleasing to watch and educational :) Hopefully we'll hit the million mark sooner rather than later, exciting times!!
+Saabkyle04 great review Kyle but this car looks like a Honda civic and its too much money for what it is can you please do a review on the 2017 r8 and a7??? they re one of my all time favorites thanks:)
I drove this trim level--liked it better than a comparable Civic. Much more refined than previous design....wish there was an adjustable lumbar support, but otherwise a very nice offering.
Excellent, EXCELLENT review. Great blend of technical info with the more vernacular features of the Cruze Premier. Well modulated narration too. Indeed, one of Chevy's greatest hits recently. Nice job young man! Many thanks.
you did a pretty good detailed job of showing all the features. Some video reviews of this Cruze missed out on things that you covered and then some. I like that they brought back the light for the glove compartment. The dual release hood latch from inside rather than fishing for the final stage release outside was a good idea. Some times it is the little details that make the bigger difference.
I noticed that there appears to be room for amber rear turn signals, but the main taillights double as the turn signals instead. This is similar to what Dodge initially did with the Caliber. I wonder if Chevy will put those amber turn signals on later year model Cruzes? Or if it's a feature only for countries that require it.
I love the new design of the Cruze. It looks cool in my opinion. Keep you're awesome car reviews going. I look forward to more in the future. You're channel is really becoming popular now. Keep you're reviews going and don't forget, you're awesome.
I had a 2011 one as a rental back in 2011, car was brand new at the time, I thought back then it was a decent car, wasn't horrible, only thing I didnt like was it was pretty slow, the 1.4 turbo it had only put out a little more torque than the naturally aspirated 1.8 liter one. This one is definitely more refined and the interior is for sure better. Good vid as always kyle!
+Yung Ball3r don't rent the impala, please. I had it, completely piece of shit. If u are a fan of American cars then rent, ford fusion or focus or spark or acadia or traverse or yukon or tahoe. Don't take malibu or Taurus or terrain, it's full of complaints
Great video Kyle! Heated seats in a compact? Love it, lol! Btw, waiting to see you get your camera on the new CTS-V(I know you've got 2 on the V-Sport)
+Tyree White The1 and a half year.... (but i must admit maybe only over here)....the 1st carmodel had only trunks...then the hatchbacks came out and we couldn't order the ones with trunk anymore. And the interior was also changed when the hatchback version came out. so that is why i think this is the 3rd version. But maybe it is because of the dealership.. i dont know. I drove other brands.
I like it minus the rear. I think it's weird how up front the headlights are slim and streamlined and then you move to the rear and you see those big bulging tail lights. I think if the tail lights were slimmer vertically it would work wonders. Would still daily this though.
This is awesome! Makes me wish I didn't get my focus a few years back. I love the sound of the exhaust when started up, I think it has a throaty, V6 kind of sound. Chevy is really upping their game here and it shows!
How did you like my small town of Ashland City? Lots of good driving roads. Petway Rd (the first Rd you were on) and Bull Run Rd (the second). Hope you enjoyed the drive. I do everyday.
I just wish GM would stop putting that huge air dam underneath the front bumper, looks awful, will scrape stuff overtime and probably doesn't even affect MPG.
Thanks for this review. I was surprised by the gas cap door @11:50: no remote unlock and no way to hang the gas cap inside it whilst filling up ? If so, that's a little on the cheap side.
I'm mostly skeptical and condescending when it comes to GM vehicles, but I gotta admit, this new Cruze is pretty good! Despite its oriental design and less-than-stellar steering and handling, I think GM did really well with the latest Cruze!
+greatgood5 All domestic brands have made substantial improvements in the area of quality. However, it'll take a number of years to prove how much more reliable they really are compared to the foreign brands.
On my trip to Michigan Detroit back in 2014 im positive i saw the same exact car 4 of them and they didn't even have an emblem on them , now i can tell they were testing that car before its release .
+Taha Qaisi Makes sense, I've been seeing the Buick Envision rolling around for over a year and a half or so now in Michigan and its not even scheduled to release until this summer. They definitely had to be some "field testing" models.
We still have the old Cruze in Australia, but they facelifted the front bumper to look a bit like the one on this new one. It doesn't work and looks horrible. Looks a lot better here with the new one though. Are they building these in the states or sourcing it from South Korea for US market?
The last Cruze is the car that changed my perceptions of American compact cars (e.g. that they weren't unreliable and cheap). I thoroughly enjoyed driving it, even moreso the short-lived 2.0 Turbodiesel version. This one from this seems to be a even greater improvement. I do wish, despite VW's dieselgate, that the Cruze Diesel will make a return to North America.
When the hazards were on I assume the left and right clear areas would blink with an orange bulb inside? Why are those not the turn signals and it is flashing red instead. I assume the other clear areas closer to the license plate are the back up lights?
Yeah, I think the Malibu has the same type of tailights. I am surprised Kyle didn't mention it. Almost as bad as the old Grand Ams that had reverse lights on the lower and upper bumper.
is this daewoo or chevy ? motor is that opel or chevy ? multi media screen is that opel ? or it is open source. also where and way power windows at the door sit in a 2016 corsa
+Jenbug0421 It's a standard feature with the automatic transmission, so there probably isn't a way to turn it off. But then again, why would you want it off? It can save several MPG in city driving.
Jenbug0421 If it's anything like what Mercedes has the engine will shut off a couple of times and at some point just remain running if you only move like a carlength at a time. I wouldn't worry too much about reliability. The system has been tested in taxis, and if it can survive that it should survive anything a consumer can throw at it. Assuming proper maintenance, of course.
I looked at the 2017 Chevy Premier hatch back and the 2017 Honda Civic EX hatchback. Honda won out after the test drive. But way to go GM you do have a competitive car. But I love my first Honda.
They added the chrome surround to the greenhouse, which is very rare in this class, and GM would normally save that for a Buick Verano. Does GM need a new Buick Verano with this luxed up now? I doubt buyers would pay more for a Buick version
Thanks for such an detailed review! I want to like this car more with the improvement in build quality and materials, size and driving dynamics, but for a few shortcomings. A big one for me though is the inclusion of the torsion-beam on all but the Premiere models. For example, the Ford Focus comes standard with independent rear suspension, even in their base model. Minor point, but I've heard it from my rear passengers - rear air vents should be included - especially in Premier models. Not a place to save money at the expense of rear passenger comfort given the nice cushion and extra space in the redesign effort.
GM went from the 4 tone beast horn in the old Cadillacs and now this Eurocrud meep meep one tone object that wouldn't get the wasps off your bumper! tisk tisk
I bought the 2015 Cruze thanks to this video. They didn't have the 2016, but after hearing about how economical this vehicle was, I couldn't resist!
It helps his family owns a dealership or few.
Goin to go pick up my Premier tomorrow. Very educational. Thanks
Chevy really stepped up their game with the Cruze.
seems like only yesterday I was shopping for a big body german sedan and I after watching your video of the Audi A8 I was sold! pulled a black a8 off the lot days later! thanks bro
Holly crap you are almost reaching 1 million subs! I remember few years ago it was lower but it keeps going up keep up and enjoy!
Amazing video, as always. I've been here since you were at 30k subscribers and now you have 900k? I can't believe it. +Saabkyle04 please upload the vw jetta gli review
+Saabkyle04 great review Kyle but this car looks like a Honda civic and its too much money for what it is can you please do a review on the 2017 r8 and a7??? they re one of my all time favorites thanks:)
+Renzee White that will be great
+Mort Adae basically a combination of a Jetta and gti. I want one
Proud of you saabkyle04, you are the reason why I love TH-cam. :)
I'm not a Road Ripper fan, anymore! But I still loved the Chevrolet fan!
Still the good used sedan for me to buy one.
Awesome job with your videos anyway dude!
looks like a huge improvement over the first generation. Doesn't give off the rental car feeling.
This is probably one of the first time in awhile that a GM product hasn't completely underwhelmed me
the compact class is getting spicy
I drove this trim level--liked it better than a comparable Civic. Much more refined than previous design....wish there was an adjustable lumbar support, but otherwise a very nice offering.
Good review overall. Keep up the good work and stay positive. What car is going to be reviewed next?
Thank you for doing a reasonably priced car. I really enjoy your videos.
Excellent, EXCELLENT review. Great blend of technical info with the more vernacular features of the Cruze Premier. Well modulated narration too. Indeed, one of Chevy's greatest hits recently. Nice job young man! Many thanks.
Awesome videos keep them coming!! The new Cruze it like a small little luxury car but the horn doesn't fit it's personality LOL!!!
you did a pretty good detailed job of showing all the features. Some video reviews of this Cruze missed out on things that you covered and then some. I really like the Chevy Cruze. My only problem is deciding between the hatchback or the sedan. I like them both.
Great variety of cars you review! To add even more variety you should do a review on the Lunar Roving Vehicle!😂
Hey man, I love these videos. Keep it up!
I love the new design of the Cruze. It looks cool in my opinion. Keep you're awesome car reviews going. I look forward to more in the future. You're channel is really becoming popular now. Keep you're reviews going and don't forget, you're awesome.
lol that 0-60 is actually really good considering my 2015 corolla has a 0-60 of about 12 seconds. Amazing the things a little turbo can do.
+Alanex Knight the 4 cylinder Impala is so slow I rented one once
Great video man! Hope it doesn't have crappy transmission like previous generation
Great video Kyle! Heated seats in a compact? Love it, lol! Btw, waiting to see you get your camera on the new CTS-V(I know you've got 2 on the V-Sport)
What a car! I own the previous Cruze ltz and i would change him only for this!
What accounts for the difference in trunk capacity between the trim levels?
Finally a good looking cruze again.
Thanks for a good review
Again? This is the 2nd generation.
+Javier Lopez i think 3rd
+FraGNet0 2nd in the Americas lol
+Tyree White The1 and a half year.... (but i must admit maybe only over here)....the 1st carmodel had only trunks...then the hatchbacks came out and we couldn't order the ones with trunk anymore. Kyle. Thank you for this beautiful presentation of this model that I like so much.Greetings from Romania!
GM is really stepping up their game. Great review Kyle :)
Hey Kyle great review. Are you gonna review the Chevy Malibu premier model also soon?
i love my 2014, im definitely buying another in 2017
Big improvement over the previous gen, which looked outdated the moment it hit production.
+ECDT1089 You mean the one that had an original and unique look to it compared to this 2016 which looks like every other new car on the road today?
If you say so :/
+Michael Butler so true
I like it minus the rear. I think it's weird how up front the headlights are slim and streamlined and then you move to the rear and you see those big bulging tail lights. I think if the tail lights were slimmer vertically it would work wonders. Would still daily this though.
I am extremely impressed with GM styling lately, especially with this car. It looks, even in base form, way more than it's worth.
I love the new styling on the Cruze
This is awesome! Makes me wish I didn't get my focus a few years back. I love the sound of the exhaust when started up, I think it has a throaty, V6 kind of sound. Chevy is really upping their game here and it shows!
Are you planning to review the 2016 Civic? Would love to see one!
welcome back "shall we "
Yes I've been waiting for this also can you do the 2017 Ford Fusion when you can thx:)
Preferably the Fusion Sport :D
+Trikster1of4 definitely
Looks good, I'd love a real performance model
another great video Kyle. Hey does your sister still have her cruze she got as a gift?
I'm looking to buy 2016 Chevy Cruze Premier.
Great video Kyle i enjoy your videos
How did you like my small town of Ashland City? Lots of good driving roads. Petway Rd (the first Rd you were on) and Bull Run Rd (the second). Hope you enjoyed the drive. I do everyday.
The new Cruze looks incredible. Finally GM made a good compact sedan
+WretchedDrake it looks like a civic it really does so screw Chevy and there new cars!!!
+Renzee White Imo the Cruze has a better interior than the civic, however a black 2016 civic with nice 17-18inch black wheels looks great.
I just wish GM would stop putting that huge air dam underneath the front bumper, looks awful, will scrape stuff overtime and probably doesn't even affect MPG.
6 speed manual? Hell yes I think I might get one of these after all.
Yeah I thinking same I just wish they would do what ford did with there focus an offer a higher end sporty version with a lot more HP
Thanks for this review. I was surprised by the gas cap door @11:50: no remote unlock and no way to hang the gas cap inside it whilst filling up ? If so, that's a little on the cheap side.
Well you can nestle the gas cap right there on the hinge
I'm mostly skeptical and condescending when it comes to GM vehicles, but I gotta admit, this new Cruze is pretty good! Despite its oriental design and less-than-stellar steering and handling, I think GM did really well with the latest Cruze!
+greatgood5

Just heard about the upcoming Ferrari 488 Review its such a stunning car in person I recently got the chance to see the Demo 488 Spyder in DC
GM has really stepped it up
We still have the old Cruze in Australia, but they facelifted the front bumper to look a bit like the one on this new one. It doesn't work and looks horrible. Looks a lot better here with the new one though.

I really love ur videos. And I would really appreciate if u did a video on a 2016 Audi s6
When I’m going to buy a new car or interested in one, I look at your videos 😂😂
The last Cruze is the car that changed my perceptions of American compact cars (e.g. that they weren't unreliable and cheap). I thoroughly enjoyed driving it, even moreso the short-lived 2.0 Turbodiesel version.
This one from this seems to be a even greater improvement. I do wish, despite VW's dieselgate, that the Cruze Diesel will make a return to North America.
good video and great info I enjoyed
Is the stop start a bother ? Have heard some say they dont like it ?
great video I enjoy watching them
+saabkyle04 when you were driving the cruze with the brown interior, why were you in low gear? is that a type of sport mode in the cruze?
nice video the filming is fantastic!!!! i love the car as well!!! what about you do you like it?
u have awesome and useful videos! And i heard the 2016 chevy malibu is coming out. can u do a video on that car?
When the hazards were on I assume the left and right clear areas would blink with an orange bulb inside? Why are those not the turn signals and it is flashing red instead. I assume the other clear areas closer to the license plate are the back up lights?
Both are reverse I think. It's dumb
Yeah, I think the Malibu has the same type of tailights. I am surprised Kyle didn't mention it. Almost as bad as the old Grand Ams that had reverse lights on the lower and upper bumper.
Nice car! It's more of a hatchback feel. Also do you still have your Genesis? If not whys you get rid of it? Great video!!
He got rid of it a while ago lol. Drives a '14 charger now
Ahhh how come?
kyle is your sister getting the 2017
I know the start/stop technology is here to stay, but man I do not like it.
I heard you have the option to turn it off, as well the road steering assist
is this daewoo or chevy ?
motor is that opel or chevy ?
multi media screen is that opel ? or it is open source.
also where and way power windows at the door sit in a 2016 corsa
+alberto gorin The interior in the 2016 Astra is the same such as the engine and transmission (all parts from GM).
motor is eccotec thats opel and thank you
Which one would you buy if you had to choose between the new Civic, Elantra, or Cruze Kyle?
Very good review thanks
For the auto/start/stop feature with the engine, can you disable it or are you stuck with it?
+Jenbug0421 It's a standard feature with the automatic transmission, so there probably isn't a way to turn it off. But then again, why would you want it off? It can save several MPG in city driving.
+Tuppoo94 I was thinking that it would be really hard on the car in rush hour traffic
Kyle when will you get a 2016 Civic?
Man Chevy all day Chevy gang were you at🤟🏾🗣🗣🗣
r they gonna make and ss cruze with 6 speed manual
When will you upload your first vlog?
i love the color changing interior
good video!
which camera are you using ?
Do all cars made for american market do a 'test' on the gauges?
+Randoom my US spec vw doesn't. it's usually only american brand cars like chev. just an observation i've made. not the ultimate truth.
Cool, thanks.
How can anyone dislike these videos
I don't like that they took away the amber rear signals, I do like the new design though.
I looked at the 2017 Chevy Premier hatch back and the 2017 Honda Civic EX hatchback. Honda won out after the test drive. But way to go GM you do have a competitive car. But I love my first Honda.
Do theses cars hold up overtime
good video. keep it up.
Is HomeLink still a thing?
where's the civic's video? has it on its way to youtube yet?
Hey Kyle what camera do you use to record
what do you make on the 1 mio discriber special
They added the chrome surround to the greenhouse, which is very rare in this class, and GM would normally save that for a Buick Verano. Does GM need a new Buick Verano with this luxed up now? I doubt buyers would pay more for a Buick version
The Verano looks more stylish and also comes with bigger and more powerful 4-cylinder engines, which helps differentiate it from the Cruze.
Can you make a video on new ND Mazda miata?
I found my next car now
Get a focus st my friend,
Thanks for such an detailed review!
Keep thinking it is a Honda Civic. Because of the body style. Anyway, great review!
Awesome car!!
Hello! Quick question, what's the RPM at 80mp/h :) Thanks
Kyle, can you please do a review on the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Ultimate?
That's old
GM went from the 4 tone beast horn in the old Cadillacs and now this Eurocrud meep meep one tone object that wouldn't get the wasps off your bumper! tisk tisk
