The elf concealer is perfect for my “no makeup” makeup days. I tend to go through waves of using foundation and sometimes when I skip foundation but use a full coverage concealer, it is looks off and not balanced. The elf one provides some coverage but not full, which looks better on my more natural, quick application days
Are use the Fenty hydrating foundation for concealer and it works so good! I don’t like it for foundation because I thought it was gonna be illuminating when it said hydrating but it’s not but it’s perfect for my under eyes because I have your fine lines and KP and all that yucky stuff underneath my eyes and it’s really good for being hydrating and not looking Cakey
Is that the long wearing foundation by Fenty? I just picked it up and love it for my oily skin 😂😂 definitely not hydrating but I should try it as concealer then!

Since I purchased the Wet n Wild Incognito concealer, from your recommendation, it is the only one I reach for. I actually use it as a spot concealer on no makeup days. It looks amazing that way. I have mature skin, so if I wear foundation, I use it as my concealer. But I will always have the WnW concealer as it is my HG!! You literally make my FAVORITE declutter videos on YT!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I literally just got rid of all my concealers but 3 of them 1. Rimmel stay matte concealer (the one with the purple cap) I keep grabbing this over anything else. Sooo good and very inexpensive. 2. Joah Truly yours dark circle concealer 3. Bareminerals well rested powder concealer. I found these 3 all work super well for my agin skin, do not crease and work well with each other.

That Revolution Eye bright concealer is my absolute holy grail and I'm so happy someone is talking about it!!! I haven't seen anyone mention it here! It's soooo beautiful and hydrating and blends like a dream, works so well with my wrinkly and dry under eyes ✨😍

I waited the whole video for you to talk about the Lancôme concealer. Since I started using it a few months ago I never want to go back to anything else. I found a good shade match for me so maybe that’s a big plus, but the most important thing to me is that it honestly doesn’t crease on me. First concealer in my life that I use that I don’t set AT ALL with any powder which is super important because even the least bit of powder looks super dry on my under eyes. My under eyes have tons of creases so that’s always been a problem for me. I think there is a trick to the application process though. I was noticing that when I only use a sponge I felt like the concealer kinda disappeared as the day went on. I started using more concealer and blending it in with a brush. Let it dry a bit then if any little creases come out patting over it with a wet sponge to soak up the excess. BOOM! All day wear and no creasing. I recently bought a lighter shade during the Sephora sale to mix in with my current shade. I tend to like my under eyes to match the rest of my face because the bright under eye look just doesn’t go well with me. I’m excited to mix them to get a little brightness without going to full shade lighter. I do want to try the Shiseido one you recommend so much but I almost feel like I don’t even have to because this one is so perfect for me. Hopefully you find a good shade for you because it’s honestly the best.

So I bought that Boing concealer bc you love it so much. It was the literal worst concealer I’ve maybe ever tried. It was so drying. I think it’s better for combo to oily skin. If you have dry skin I’d stay far away!!
I didn't like it either 😔 I have combination skin but dry undereyes, and it just looked so bad. Dry, cake-y, crease-y, AND it didn't cover my dark circles! Tried 2 shades. So sad, such high hopes.
I have hereditary dark circles, and the hourglass concealer is my favorite for full coverage everyday! I also will use a peach corrector beforehand like the tarte undereye cc corrector 😊
This is so helpful. Even though I am older (55) than you, I often find I like the products you recommend. I have almost decided (almost) that I look better without concealer. Nothing to sink in fine lines. But I do like a little something to brighten the dark circles - which can be exagerated by my glasses.
I have been wearing the Bare Minerals concealer for 20 years. It was originally an eye shadow in the brand called Bisque. They only had the one color. I still use it as an eye shadow base every day. Great for the no make up days--quick and easy.
I use the IT cosmetics concealer and I’m so shocked I never hear it talked about. I can use the most minuscule amount and it covers my under eyes, lasts all day and never looks dry. It’s the one in the squeeze tube.
Is it odd that I miss Jessica's squirmy toes that used to be staple in the declutters? LOL...it's the little things. I get the baby bump tho! 😅 I know this is a declutter but you MUST try the NYX Bare With Me Concealer. I have reached for nothing else since purchasing!
Always love a good de-clutter. Thank you for helping me feel less guilty especially because I too have over 40 foundations and concealers (which is embarrassing to say the least), but I want to be more mindful and less wasteful in 2022, thank you for the motivation.
Re: Half Caff - I love the stuff and I actually really like the Maxwell House tub that I found at my local grocery store. It’s definitely harder to find, but I’ve been trying out different grounds and this Maxwell House medium roast half caff is my favorite so far. I just put it in reusable k-cups.
I need to try this. I tried the Folgers half caff and it was good, but I would like to try others. I usually buy the caf and decaf version of a coffee and mix it myself.

I just got it about a month ago and it is hands down the best concealer I’ve used. (And I’ve been searching for a good one for a looong time!!) I have dry skin and it never cracks or creases or bunches, I use a very minimal amount. It’s just so good I had to spread the word 😁

I’ve only just started getting back into newer brands at Sephora (or at least, new since my time in college during which I couldn’t buy a ton of expensive makeup) and the first on my list was kaja, but good to know about the kosas concealer! I’ve also been testing out the neutrogena one and I really like the formula, but I’m not sure about the shade range. I have the lightest shade and it’s SUPER light on me, but the next shade down looks like it wouldn’t be light enough🥲
@@annieoddo1475 yes, neutrogena shades tend to pull orange on me, I can never find a decent match. Kaja has some great shadows/blushes! I haven’t tried much else from them though. But now all of my base products are Kosas. Powder, concealer and the foundation oil, love them all! They have bundles on sale on their website for the holidays (or at least they did a month ago when I purchased from them)

I’ve been wanting to try the covergirl one Jess was talking about as well as the wet n’ wild incognito, but I kid you not when I went to cvs they had everything from those two brands EXCEPT the two concealers I was looking for.

This is so random, but for the first little while after you started using an editor, I could tell. They felt a little overdone with the music and things. But lately I feel like they’ve gone back to basics, not overly edited. They’re more Jessica-esque, which I appreciate. I’m currently watching vlogmas where you mentioned that people had been asking if you were still using an editor, and I can see why. I realized when you said that that I had totally forgotten about it. That’s a testament as to how good of a team you two make! So happy for you and your success.
Jessica, i bought the Bobbi Brown corrector and it is AMAZING! I have a rainbow of colour under my eyes, blue, green, purple, and this convers it all! I love it! Thank you for the recommendation, i dont usually buy alot of high end makeup, but this one is so worth it!
@@SaucerJess i got the shade Bisque and Jessica says she wears Light Bisque. The photos on Sephora website were somewhat helpful. If you have more blue/purple/red under your eyes, i would choose a "bisque" shade. If you have more brown/grey/green colouration, try the "peach" tones. I have blue and purple in the inner corners and very visible greenish/blue veins near the outer corners. Bisque works well to cover all of it. I have a slightly darker skin tone than Jessica as i am half indian, but i am rather pale for a mixed person.

I just love trying different concealers, I cant explain it! I love the Dior forever skin correct, a HG for difficult/textured undereyes! It has never done me dirty, I've used it all year and I'm almost done with mine. I dont think I've ever used up an entire concealer! The shiseido has piqued my interest... I might just try that next. I've heard such good things about the Pat Mcgrath one too and their under eye powder has changed the game!!! I cannot explain what kind of magic that powder is but it will instantly smooth and perfect the undereyes.

I cannot BELIEVE you don’t have the Kosas concealer. Girl, you need to try it immediately if you haven’t. Best concealer I’ve ever used for my dry, over a certain age under eyes. Along with the Kosas cloud setting powder, a duo from heaven. The powder sets the concealer which NEVER creases on me without giving me a dry or powdery finish. *chef’s kiss SO good.
@@karenzxc100 definitely amazing for mature skin, I use it sparingly and it never ceases or bunches, it just looks beautiful all day and doesn’t age my under eyes at all! As far as oily, I think it would still work great, especially if you use a setting powder you love, but it may not last as long as some other concealers made for oily skin types. I do think Kosas sells sample cards for fairly cheap to try out different shades and see if the product will work for you. I hope you love it as much as I do 😁
@@suzan1mal I’m in NJ, so both! I have worn this through early fall, which was unseasonably warm, but I haven’t tried it through the summer months. For my dry skin, I usually don’t have to make a switch though.
I use the Marc Jacobs stick in a darker shade as a contour. I love it for this because it is creamy and blends so nicely. I'd recommend trying it that way if you haven't.
Jess, I bought the cakeless concealer on your recommendation and it is my favourite fuller coverage concealer. I will definitely have to try the Shiseido one.
You’re missing the best concealer ever: Kosas! It is sooooo good, and every other concealer is horrible on me (I’m 51). Honorable mention to Doll 10 Hydralux concealer which is super smoothing.

I was using the Revlon Candid concealer to use it up and was so so about it, but I like it now! I set it with the Elf under eye powder to set it with. I also liked the LIP Bar one, and the new Nyx one is good too. Kosas is good too. It's just a little pricey. I like the Milani color corrector too! Thanks for the video😀

You have to try Undone Beauty's concealer! Every time I use it I think it can't be this good BUT IT IS! I am 52 so I have all the concerns and it checks all the boxes for me. There are 3 formulas of the same shade in each and I use them all separately and mixed. SO affordable and I would love to see what your opinion is!
Based on your suggestion for the shiseido synchro skin concealer I bought it and absolutely love it! I have my very dry undereyes and don’t really sleep a lot since I have two little ones. It works wonders for my undereyes.
I bought the Tarte Creaseless concealer because of you, gosh probably six or seven years ago and I HATED IT! It was so creasing and so dewy. 😂 I’m so glad you have seen the light!

I have oily skin and it did not work for me at all. The creasing was so bad.
I did not like the booing cakeless concealer it didn’t cover my Under eyes although I have genetically dark under eyes

I’ve only just started getting back into newer brands at Sephora (or at least, new since my time in college during which I couldn’t buy a ton of expensive makeup) and the first on my list was kaja, but good to know about the kosas concealer! I’ve also been testing out the neutrogena one and I really like the formula, but I’m not sure about the shade range. I have the lightest shade and it’s SUPER light on me, but the next shade down looks like it wouldn’t be light enough🥲
@@annieoddo1475 yes, neutrogena shades tend to pull orange on me, I can never find a decent match. Kaja has some great shadows/blushes! I haven’t tried much else from them though. But now all of my base products are Kosas. Powder, concealer and the foundation oil, love them all! They have bundles on sale on their website for the holidays (or at least they did a month ago when I purchased from them)

@@av4275 I love the maybelline instant age rewind too but now that I think about it, it’s been way too long since I tried a new drugstore concealer other than the neutrogena one. I’ve been wanting to try the covergirl one Jess was talking about as well as the wet n’ wild incognito, but I kid you not when I went to cvs they had everything from those two brands EXCEPT the two concealers I was looking for.
Still love that fenty concealer! I don’t know how it just magics my face to perfection but I can’t stress enough how I use the thinnest amount

This is so random, but for the first little while after you started using an editor, I could tell. They felt a little overdone with the music and things. But lately I feel like they’ve gone back to basics, not overly edited. They’re more Jessica-esque, which I appreciate. I’m currently watching vlogmas where you mentioned that people had been asking if you were still using an editor, and I can see why. I realized when you said that that I had totally forgotten about it. That’s a testament as to how good of a team you two make! So happy for you and your success.

Jessica, i bought the Bobbi Brown corrector and it is AMAZING! I have a rainbow of colour under my eyes, blue, green, purple, and this convers it all! I love it! Thank you for the recommendation, i dont usually buy alot of high end makeup, but this one is so worth it!
What shade do you wear? I've been eyeing that one! 💚
@@SaucerJess i got the shade Bisque and Jessica says she wears Light Bisque. The photos on Sephora website were somewhat helpful. If you have more blue/purple/red under your eyes, i would choose a "bisque" shade.
If you have more brown/grey/green colouration, try the "peach" tones.
I have blue and purple in the inner corners and very visible greenish/blue veins near the outer corners. Bisque works well to cover all of it. I have a slightly darker skin tone than Jessica as i am half indian, but i am rather pale for a mixed person.

I just love trying different concealers, I cant explain it! I love the Dior forever skin correct, a HG for difficult/textured undereyes! It has never done me dirty, I've used it all year and I'm almost done with mine. I dont think I've ever used up an entire concealer! The shiseido has piqued my interest... I might just try that next. I've heard such good things about the Pat Mcgrath one too and their under eye powder has changed the game!!! I cannot explain what kind of magic that powder is but it will instantly smooth and perfect the undereyes.
You inspired me to throw away a bunch of stuff that I never use. Feels so good!

I cannot BELIEVE you don’t have the Kosas concealer. Girl, you need to try it immediately if you haven’t. Best concealer I’ve ever used for my dry, over a certain age under eyes. Along with the Kosas cloud setting powder, a duo from heaven. The powder sets the concealer which NEVER creases on me without giving me a dry or powdery finish. *chef’s kiss

Do you think it would do ok for slightly oily mature skin?
@@karenzxc100 definitely amazing for mature skin, I use it sparingly and it never ceases or bunches, it just looks beautiful all day and doesn’t age my under eyes at all! As far as oily, I think it would still work great, especially if you use a setting powder you love, but it may not last as long as some other concealers made for oily skin types.
I do think Kosas sells sample cards for fairly cheap to try out different shades and see if the product will work for you. I hope you love it as much as I do 😁
Do you live in a humid or dry climate? I’m over 50, in a dry c,I ate, and can’t wear the same concealers that I can wear down south where it’s humid.
@@suzan1mal I’m in NJ, so both! I have worn this through early fall, which was unseasonably warm, but I haven’t tried it through the summer months. For my dry skin, I usually don’t have to make a switch though.
The age rewind totally changed formula. I noticed that too when I repurchased it recently.
I use the Marc Jacobs stick in a darker shade as a contour. I love it for this because it is creamy and blends so nicely. I'd recommend trying it that way if you haven't.
Jess, I bought the cakeless concealer on your recommendation and it is my favourite fuller coverage concealer. I will definitely have to try the Shiseido one.
I 100% agree with Flower beauty concealer. Used to be great, now not so much :(
You’re missing the best concealer ever: Kosas! It is sooooo good, and every other concealer is horrible on me (I’m 51). Honorable mention to Doll 10 Hydralux concealer which is super smoothing.
I keep meaning to pick that one up! I’ve heard such great things!

I was using the Revlon Candid concealer to use it up and was so so about it, but I like it now! I set it with the Elf under eye powder to set it with. I also liked the LIP Bar one, and the new Nyx one is good too. Kosas is good too. It's just a little pricey. I like the Milani color corrector too! Thanks for the video😀

You have to try Undone Beauty's concealer! Every time I use it I think it can't be this good BUT IT IS! I am 52 so I have all the concerns and it checks all the boxes for me. There are 3 formulas of the same shade in each and I use them all separately and mixed. SO affordable and I would love to see what your opinion is!

Based on your suggestion for the shiseido synchro skin concealer I bought it and absolutely love it! I have my very dry undereyes and don’t really sleep a lot since I have two little ones. It works wonders for my undereyes.

The Maybelline Age Rewind is my favorite concealer! I choose it over high end concealers that were shown in this video. I may enjoy them, but it seems I always go back to my Maybelline 🤗
