I just discovered this video in December 2023, and I am so happy I did. You are an amazing teacher. I watched the video about 3 times to make sure I had it. Then I went and purchased my looper. Now, I have created 2 bracelets and matching earrings. Blessings to you, dear lady! 😊 I also clicked like and subscribed.
Forgot to say your group is great . We love you guys keep those classes coming. As a senior we love these classes without paying for them. I know for myself I then will pass on your classes to others and also teach someone if they ask. We women need to pass on knowledge.
I recently bought a one step looper (have wanted one for a long time) ... and I absolutely love it! It makes my life so much easier and is much easier on my hands (as I'm a senior with arthritis and, although I like making my own loops, after a while it is very painful on my hands.) Highly recommend anyone else who enjoys making jewellery invest in one of these amazing tools. 👍💕
I make a lot of 5 decade Rosaries, which means 118 eye-pins have to be made. After I get everything together (which is 59 beads and the crucifix) I go over every eye-pin to get them the same size and make sure the eye-pins are completely closed . This usually takes me several hours to complete, but I’m guessing that a one step looper would save me quite a bit of time. Thank you for showing us this incredible tool!
That one step looper looks amazing! I have the round nose pliers from a beginner kit and couldn't quite figure out how to loop or tidy up ends. Definitely run head first when it comes to crafting, so I am thankful I found your videos!
I never new that you could get a tool to make loops for you - definitely going to look at treating myself to one of them, will make my life so much easy. Thankyou
I never had instructions like this, so I always wonder how the loops were made. Now I know, I need this tool... I'm going to get one in our local bead store.. Thanks.
I just purchased the 1-step looper and I love it because kept having problems making loops with the round nose pliers (but I will still keep practicing to get better). I love that look for the bracelet and will try it, plus I just got a lot of ideas flowing in my head. Thanks for your tutorial, I really appreciate them.
Oh I love that one-step looper. I make my own loops, but this sure would save time and hand pain. Because I am so frugal, I would probably cut my wire at one foot pieces to save more wire. Thank you for a lovely video. I think I will join some of my links together to make a bracelet.
Well done! Wire connected beads didn't interest me but this video was so clear and straightforward - well now I want one of those loopers! Thank-you so much Susan!
Omg I just learned something new as I'm a jewelry maker and a business owner and right now my hands are grateful that I saw this video as I'm always making my own loops and either they don't come out right or my hands end up hurting a lot 😢. So thank you so much for talking about the looper as I was on Amazon looking for the took and missed some of the video but so worth it. Again thank you so much. I've subscribed and look forward to seeing what's next. 😄
@@JewelSchool - Hi, Susan I'm so in awe with the 1-Step looper🙂. How can I purchase 1. I'm in JHB, South Africa? I haven't seen such in the bead shops - probably coz I didn't even know it existed😄
I bought a pair of looper pliers but they aren’t cutting the wire like you are showing. I noticed on line there was a set 2.25 where as mine are 3.0. Could that be why?
Thank you so much! I’m making memory wire bracelets and stretch bracelets but I want to start making these kind! Love the new tool! Thank you so much! You make everything sound so easy!
Just found you in 2024! That looper is a game changer right?! Love the tutorial and things you mention that I initially wouldn't think about, like having loops in same direction (can you tell I'm new to this?). Thank you for the great tutorial and I'll be sure to check out more videos! :)
Would you use this same size wire if you were making a gemstone bead bracelet but without connectors between the beads, meaning all the beads would touch? Thanks!
Hi love your video. I want to make this braclet but not sure what size toggle clasp to use and how to judge that for different size bead braclets, its important as I will be using sterling silver wire and clasp, can you tell me,thanks
Susan.. Hi! That was BRILLIANT!!! I am presently gathering info on how to make Rosary Beads and such. I have NEVER done any sort of bead or wire work of any description! Yeah... I am a newbie (LOL). That one step looper is such a game changer! I live in Australia.. and have yet to see what they have in the shops (chuckle.....). Wish me luck!! from Michele
I am cutting the 20 and 18 gauge of copper wire with a "End cutter", but I notice there is a sharp edge left at the end of cut, but I worry if the wire accidentally pulled apart it may potentially cut the finger, so I started to smoothen the edge of the wire after cutting by sanding it with sandpaper or sanding stick. I wonder is there a better way or tool to smoothen the cut without sanding it ? Will this flash cutter you use give a clean and smooth cut ?
Be sure to cut the wire with your flush cutter using the flat side. basically, turn the flat side toward you as you cut. This will give you an even straight cut, not a pointed one. Also, think about investing in a wire rounder with a cup burr. This will be a lot easier to use to help dull sharp edges. www.jtv.com/product/bead-reamer-and-wire-rounder-attachments-kit-incl-bead-reamer-and-assortment-of-burs/JSKIT0559?mcid=XSOjsyt
You said that an average bracelet would be 7 inches before the clasp. My question is when you gift it to someone or sale it what wrist size do you tell them it is for? A 7-inch wrist or a 7 inch plus the size of the clasp parts on both ends making it then more like 7 1/2 inches?
Just discovered your video. Love love. I make jewelry but haven’t in years but want to get back into it. Love that tool though 😊. Subscribed n liked ur video
Hint: Instead of using your pliers to open a connector to connect it to the next one, just don't close it totally on the looper. Then you don't have to keep opening the connector.

Hey Susan, your videos are incredible I do enjoy every single one of them. Now, I have a situation, how can one open those double jump rings, it is so hard and I cannot open it ever. I have tons of these jump rings, but it's all double, if you have any suggestions of how to open it, I really appreciated if you let me know.? Thanks.
Hi Shevy! Great question! Those pesky double jump rings. We also know them as split rings and there is actually a jewelry tool called a "Split Ring Opening Plier" that you can get to help you open split rings. Just do a quick internet search and you'll find one. You'll know it because one prong of the plier will be bent in to a 90 degree angle. Good Luck!
I tried to do something similar with black wire (Parawire brand) but the copper color shows too much at the loops. Is there a black wire that don't do this?

if you don't have a 1 step looper, use eye pins. they already have a loop at one end, so you don't need to make as many loops with pliers.

Terrific video. Very simple instructions and not too much chit chat. Thank you.

Where can I find one in West Tennessee

They have these same one step looper on amazon with very bad reviews

That 1-loop tool is about to be a game changer in my jewelry making. I’m wanting to get into wire wrapping jewelry and the type you’re making now.
Thank you, I haven't used my one-step-looper for both ends but thanks to you will try it again Love how simple you make it to follow
Great work loveit

I bought the one step looper today! Arrives tomorrow and I’m so excited to start making bracelets
When using silver wire, is it better to use hard wire or is half hard okay for open wire connectors?
I just bought my one step looper this afternoon. I can’t wait to play with it tomorrow.
Just started beading and finding your video's! Thank you for being so thorough! Just ordered me a looper!
Def have to buy a looper!!! Loved this technique... bracelets look beautiful with the round links! ❣️
Well done! Wire connected beads didn't interest me but this video was so clear and straightforward - well now I want one of those loopers! Thank-you so much Susan!
I LOVE my 1-step looper. Downside is that it’s made for right-handers. It’s a little awkward for a left-hander.
Finally went back to your class and made one LOVE LOVE IT. Great to add to my statsh .

You can also use small eyepins with same gauge as your wire, it is more simple and less spill.
Nicely done! Clear, precise instructions. I look forward to the next instructional segment.
Awesome and looks easy, great instructor
love that looper!!!
So many useful tips! Thanks so much for making this wonderful video!

How lovely ! I so much like the jewellery on your neck! Would like to know how to do that 🙏 Thank you sommuch
I have the same tool for making the loops. I did not know that I could use it to make both loops. Thank you. 😁
Love my one step looper! Thanks for making this project so easy to follow.
One step lopper is awsome, I've neven seen before. I make lop only by round nose plier, because I don't have your beautiful new tool👍👍
Is that a half hard wire / hard / dead soft wire? Thanks!
OMG!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!! Thank you!!!!!

I really enjoyed watching your lovely videos ❤️💕

Glad to find it today again, because I forgot it a little.
I “liked” the video as soon as you made me chuckle from the “underwear” metaphor 😆🥰
I didn’t start laughing at it until she REALLY pointed it out that she said underwear lol
Thanks for this class it is wounderfull !!!
I've tried to use the one step looper and I can't make them, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. You make it look so easy!
Love the bracelet!

I don't like the looper. It doesn't completely close the loops. It's a well known flaw with this tool.
Thank you, wonderful, love that tool!
I love my looper but it did take me some time to master it . I'm left handed for those who think it can only be used by right handed people.
I love jewel school and I love Susan she seems so sweet
Hi love your video. I want to make this braclet but not sure what size toggle clasp to use and how to judge that for different size bead braclets, its important as I will be using sterling silver wire and clasp, can you tell me,thanks

Wonderful I will give this a try.
Beautiful bracelet.
Thank you! Awesome job.
Thanks for watching, Bridget!
Hola muy lindo trabajo te felicito tengo una duda como se llama ese alicante que hace lo redondo
Great tips for a beginner 😊 thanks
Can you use the wire connector on metal paper clips?? I use metal paper clips to make my earrings
Loveeeeeeeeeeee that looper tool!!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! Your video makes me want to use the looper I have had sitting for over a year. LOL I thought it was more complicated. :-)

@@JewelSchool Thanks for the tips on cutting and the tool looks great to me. Worth trying. Thank you.
Love the new tool !
Thanks for this, I am excited make these with my new tools :-) 😊
Where do u purchase that tool for wire connectors. Awesome
Totally subscribe & totally need that one step looper. I love what you made here.
You said that an average bracelet would be 7 inches before the clasp. My question is when you gift it to someone or sale it what wrist size do you tell them it is for? A 7-inch wrist or a 7 inch plus the size of the clasp parts on both ends making it then more like 7 1/2 inches?
The clasp would make it slighter bigger than 7-inches, yes.
Do you do your connector opening in the opposite direction?
Just discovered your video. Love love. I make jewelry but haven’t in years but want to get back into it. Love that tool though 😊. Subscribed n liked ur video
Hint: Instead of using your pliers to open a connector to connect it to the next one, just don't close it totally on the looper. Then you don't have to keep opening the connector.

this video is very helpful, thanks
Me getting into this hobby thinking I was gonna spend on too many beads... *starts adding every type of plier to my cart* 🤣
What size of one step looper do u use. I looked at Amazon n they have different sizes!!
Beautiful!
What is the difference between flush cutter pliers and regular wire cutter pliers?
I love your silver ring in your left hand did you make that one? If yes how I would love to learn how to make it.

I made a necklace with it and was really pleased with how it came out.
I tried to do something similar with black wire (Parawire brand) but the copper color shows too much at the loops. Is there a black wire that don't do this?
could you use this for a necklace as well?
