Unbelievable flow and speed. It's nuts how fast his brain must be running to keep the musical flow going, whilst executing such technically challenging things. It's hard to appreciate, but after 30 years of playing, I can only dream of achieving this level.
I'm a drummer and I'm embarrassed after seeing this guy to even call myself a drummer. The speed and precision are enough to make me never want to touch a freakin' drum ever again! This is one of the best(if not the best) drumming sessions I've ever witnessed.....(and I'm a big fan of Buddy Rich). I literally came back to this video after watching a drum solo by a guy(not trying to name names) who's played with some of the biggest bands in rock, and he made me yawn in comparison to this guy! This video goes to No.1 in my bookmarks as to what real drumming looks like!
I listened to Frank many years with Steve Smith and Vital Information. But Gergo is fresh and stunningly musical. I love his style!! These solos are simply awesome.

Is this a new technology, where you can edit a video to have some musicians play at normal speed and another play at double speed? It has to be, because it's not humanly possible for a drummer to do that.
I hear Vinnie and Dennis in his playing interweaved in patterns of super condensed phrasing and I am assuming he passed hours cutting his teeth with their records. Do not get me wrong, Gergo is a great drummer but he has no identity. One has to work on his style, phrasing, identity and pushing the envelope in the art of drumming. Great! He has three floor toms, but Tony, Bill etc... you have got the picture.
great playing obviously, but with a talent like Gergo he should read the memo...dont blow the same stuff and don't blow it all of the time. you can slow down its just as interesting. its just too much speed all of the time. this is the same problem virgil has. so, just because you could...doesnt mean you should.
