I am married to a Thai woman, and we met while both of us were living in New Zealand, through friends, like most traditional relationships start, and then got married and lived in NZ for a while. Then Covid hit, and she had to leave, so I have been living in Thailand for 3-4 years now and have met many Thai's through her family and friends. They are extremely nice, and very conservative when it comes to relationships. It’s a bit sad that the stereotype of Thai women come from the 1% that work in bars that foreigners meet when on holiday, and not the other 99% that are very much like this woman here.
