People still have to deal with Zacian but eh with the draft system not may teams had to deal with the sword dog. Even with the matches where Zacian was in play it didn't cause that much to change the game.
A lot of people pointing out that I forgot to mention this - yes, there was a “letter from the producer” that released about a month back. Unite has had a few of these, including a “letter of apology” that released around March. They are always surprising to see because of how little communication there is between the players and the developers. They actually did take SOME ownership over Zacian and stated that they want to be more mindful of the game’s balance. They stated “Our goal is to make appropriate adjustments before each Pokémon’s release in the Global version to ensure all are fairly balanced.” A sweet gesture, but ultimately meaningless as they released Mewtwo into the game TWO DAYS LATER. I’ll link the letter in the description for anyone else who wants to take a look at it.
I love this whole letter of apology, explaining to us that they were really sorry for all the problems with zacian... ... and a day later, they release a pokemon WORSE than zacian 😂
Nah it actually doesn't. If metwo player is smart and runs psystrike recover it will never die and can just bully you even in your best bases and your own influx zone. You can't even escape with zacian 2 agility with full heal. If they run future sight maybe tehy can die and be countered but not psystrike mewtwos recover or teleport. Both with psystrike make it almost impossible to beat mewtwo even 1v3 especailly if teh mewtwo has a comfey backing them up like most do. Mewtwo is literally worse than Zacian. I could run away from zacian and beat her as greninja and glaceon and trevenant. I try to do anything like that against a good mewtwo and i die for trying if i don't have 3 others helping. Also slowsmoke really messed up zacian on release along with kiting away from sacred sword range and zacian wasn't even close to as tanky as mewtwo. @@kanicothecrab
They did the exact same thing when they made tyranitar 15,000 coins. "sorry, we did this because we felt he was going to be very special and cool it wont ever happen again" and then made almost every single pokemon since 12k-15k coins. They only apologized so they didn't seem like the bad guys but went and did the same thing again. They just apologize so you'll forgive them, only to do the same stuff months later.
They’re doing this on purpose. A new and overpowered Pokémon is released that you can buy, Little Timmy will use mommy’s credit card to get said Pokémon, and then the devs will nerf it making it not as powerful anymore. That way, people would have spend the money only for it to be nerfed a few days later.
I literally returned to Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, because of how frustrating the atual meta is in unite, and Master Duel to mobiles is a nightmare, because it is badly otimizated
@BloodyHowl69 I played at release but slowly faded away from the game but I came back a few months ago and I'm a completely f2p player and I'm doing great in the game while also not playing too broken mons
Unite really is one of those games that I remember once every 3-4 months, play for a couple days and have a blast, then get bogged down by all of the bs and quit with yet another sour taste in my mouth from it
Ikr Decided to come back Lucky me it was a all free trial pokemon weekend so after playing my main Delphox I could test chandelure and goodra 1 or 2 first match were really fun The next matches the opponent always had a mewtwo, and when mewtwo was barely appearing it somehow could hit and drag me from the half the screen distance and I had no way to flee as I would get a slow down ? The sour taste of poor balance made me glad I quitted I complained of what the game became after one year But basically the second year everytime the game get an update it was just even worse...
Technically, aren't they leasing Pokemon out to Tencent to help them build the game? If that's the case you're not just going to be upset at 1 but 2 companies who might've thought they could work together. The truth is now it's clear they have different design philosophies that just aren't meshing anymore.
I have always been vocal about how awful the devs are at balancing. But honestly at this point they're obviously doing these on purpose. And they're assholes for it. And those of us who are casual players who play this game because we enjoy using Pokemon have to suffer for it.
Most of Unites players know this all we can really do against mewtwo is gang up or run it's just really unfair sometimes it's really annoying when you've crafted the best tyranitar set and then get killed by a mewtwo its just so annoying
@@lilbean5955 People realized this DAY 1, this game has never had a period of balance, there was always at least 1 pokemon that was dominating everyone
@@Lizombiezgame was balanced before all these power creep Pokémons tbh... Sometimes just a few strong ones but usually just weak guys nothing thats too overwhelming compared to now

Pokémon as a corporate entity makes me want to throw up. Unite is one of the best examples of how soulless the corporation has become, and how many real creative people under them are struggling to create something worthwhile
It’s Tencent, the Chinese company that made this game… my apologies, West Taiwan. Tencent is notorious for predatory marketing and poor community interactions.
@@jupe5764 Like Game Freak is producing great games and not rushed crash grabs just to release merchandise for decades already, not defending Tencent but if Game Freak was the maker of this game things still would be the same because Pokémon became a money machine that you can put less and less effort and the fans still gobble it up. And I bet why Unite only has a low player base because isn't on PC, many Pokémon fans don't have money to buy a Switch and most people don't like playing actions games in their cellphones/tablets so this removes at big chunck of their player base
@@jupe5764 no it's Pokemon tencent owns many games not every game is like this .... Legendary being overpowered decision is purely from Pokemon company
Money talks and if they can profit with little effort, they'll do it. Hell even when I was in Japan visiting all the different Pokemon center stores, I didn't see any customers who walked without buying anything. No matter how overpriced some of that merch was.
@@jupe5764 My guess is that it's both. Pokemon is also notorious as a corporation for extreme greed banking off of how infallible and impossible to fail their IP is. Tencent is also definitely a part of that.
Me and my friends made a team to play competitive in this game. It was so fun and we really enjoyed it. But since Glaceon release something started to feel odd, and Zacian was the thing that made us finally quit competitive. Now we only play whenever we remember the game exists. I hate how they made me hate something that I loved
@@JitendraSingh-qd7jk Other than Espeon none of the eeveelutions are balanced. Also they're talking about when Glaceon first got released. You can't tell me that none of the Eeveelutions are broken when Umbreon is the best tank in the game, Leafeon is one of the best cental laners, and Glaceon has like one of the highest dps in the game. Ever since Glaceon and afterwards the pokemon became more and more broken.
@@negate4828That's the exact definition of being balanced. Being good even without unnecessary buffs. Another good example is sniper build of venusaur. All the evolutions are balanced and glaceon still attcaks the same way it does but with a lesser amount of damage, but still is so powerful that it can strategically take down a mewtwo with minor assistance.
Genuinely one of the best multiplayer gameplay loops, plagued by a dev who is just using every toxic free to play trope in the book to milk their whales while free players continue to keep turning off the game
I miss when pokemon would release for 8000 coins (the minimum may have been 6k) versus every pokemon releasing at 12-15k. It was like even if I don't play 5 hours a day every single effing day, at a few matches a week I could still afford a new license. Now you have to grind everyday for weeks if you want the newest release.
most of the time it takes 1 to 2 months to save up for one of those 12k or 14k licenses because unlike in the old days when there was no reward cap now theres a 2500 coins cap per week so you cant even grind even if u wanted the pokemon really badly lol you just have to spend money
Create a second account and swap in and out every 2 weeks. You get 4k coins for completing a mission and 10k after 7 days of completing the welcome back missions. 10k because you can choose one you already have and it refunds you 10k coins. Add that with the weekend 3k coin event and 1500 you get from just playing. That is if you care enough to do that. The game in its current state is hardly worth doing that other than free licenses.
@@eds7343 yeah that feels like a lot (and my smooth brain didn't understand it 😅) luckily thanks to leaks we know at least the next 3 pokemon and the only one I really want is blaziken
This is why I stopped playing after 1.5 years of playing this every single day. It just isn’t worth it and final straw was when I was forced to spend $50 or so dollars to “keep up” and yeah still regret it months later. Been playing this game here and there but it’s mostly just been little to no activity on my end. Thankfully I had just enough left over to get mewtwo and I feel relieved I finally could spend all of the gems after sometime of just having it sit there and be useless. Other than that I am not touching this game with the exception of my friends wanting something to do and this comes to mind
This is the type of content that I want to see. No shade on other Unite creators, but it’s cool that someone is making more long form and in depth videos like this
i play pokemon unite when im too lazy to play pc games but i never interacted with its community before im so glad i am not insane with the problems i felt in the game i just wanted to see my favorite pokemon in silly clothes and making points
@@grimpoteuthidae Yes. Because i been in the community. i remember how nobody cared when the new releases got locked behind a paywall for a week ("doesn't change anything that the other team has it and yours not" copium") and everyone was fine with that. Same with the emblems,an outdated system that even LoL got rid of it in 2017,when is just a blatant RNG system to force you to keep playing and ignore the lack of new items in the other drop system. I can go on and on,because if this community effectively cared about the game, they would have tried to boycott it more than 2 years ago,but not even the big streamers care to do,as long it doesn't touch their revenue EDIT: Oh right, the "Draft pick" wasn't necessary in this game. @@Averyredguycome is always weak The problem with comfrey is that it is charater that thrives on characters being broken and making them near nigh impossible to beat The amount of times I got zacian, mewtwo and comfey as the opposing team is miserable.
@@darkmodeenjoyer3367 comfey's not weak lul, you just need a teammate that actually knows how to play the game, it's main goal is to just attach, heal, deattach, heal, unite, heal the reason it's squishy and does no damage is because if it did, then you basically had an invincible pokemon on the enemy team, it also has magical leaf and grass knot for stuns which is just very very stupid
I just liked the idea of a haunted tree Pokemon. That’s why it was my first buy. It’s attack isn’t that crazy, but maybe I only think of that because we all just went through the Umbreon meta.
I have played Unite ever since it first released, on and off every now and again and it genuinely sucks to see that most of the new pokemon just cost more and perform much better than the other pokemon that released before that do the exact same thing but worse. It's such a shame, because I genuinely have fun with this game and to see it die like this breaks my heart. The only fun i really have playing this game is using mid-low tier pokemon because all of the top tier pokemon just feel dirty to use. I wish they could actually listen to their fans instead of killing the game like this
It's even dirtier when you see your friends buying these characters and judging you because you paid 14,000 coins on Zoroark because it looks fun to play.
Honestly one of the biggest things I love about unite is that every match has a 10 minute time limit. Here's the thing when I was in college I'd play a 1 hour LoL or DOTA2 and felt really good about how I spent that time. I'm married and have kids now and a 1 hour match just isn't something I can do these days. But I can pretty easily chill for 15 minutes and get a game in. I really like some of the character designs and the game is actually pretty good. If they just locked it so you only played people in your rank I think that would solve a lot of the match making issues
No it wouldn't because then the character you use determines the rank which leads to worse mid-high rank lobbies from people carried by a character, but it also leads to people marking smurf accounts and will make things worse for low-mid rank lobbies.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 so I'm not sure how the current system prevents smurfing at all. What I am Suggesting is if you're in ultra all your teammates and opponents should be ultra. There are plenty of issues with the game but I actually like the limited time clock and the way things can come down to the buzzer per se.
@@plainperson7797 good to know. Haven't played in probably 6 or 7 years but most of my games would go 45 minutes to an hour. I mained nasus and ryze so I thrived in late game fights.
Same. It became unenjoyable if you dont enjoy abusing some overpowered god and faceroll through enemy teams until they faceroll you, because they also only play OP crap. Turn in, daily stuff, turn off.
LOUDER for EVERYONE at Timi to hear!!! Its frustrating and stressful. I dont enjoy this game like I used to. Every game is a struggle. It needs a HUGE overhaul
Very well said. It would be so cool to have legendary Pokémon if they actually had unique mechanics and not insanely easy to use moves. I agree that mew was a great example of that. I hate corporate greed so much. And how they try to pacify the player base with their fraudulent ass apology letter and “emergency nerfs” that carry no actual weight
Exactly… why not make all legendaries like hoopa and mew where they can have unique skill based mechanics that can only be cracked with enough practice and skill… I’m so fucking tired of the little kids on their mom’s ipad buying mewtwo then spamming point n click moves for a free 4k damage with zero repercussion.
@@marshtomp8 my guy, how many times do you actually see a skilled hoopa? Obviously you’ve never played it before cuz you can instantly tell when a hoopa has zero skill since they’ll just grief their teammates with hyperspace during fights and try to use it for damage. Either that or maybe you got whooped by a skilled one lol. The point is that in order for hoopa to be “broken” the person using it has to know what they are doing, otherwise they fall flat on their face.
Im often caught shouting that I hate this game but I continue to play it. I genuinely want to enjoy this game but god I have to take breaks from it because of how much it takes out of me with all the problems that exist. You really summed up that feeling well with this video and I appreciate that others share the sentiment
They released other OP pokemon in the past, but it is so blatant with Mewtwo. They had an "emergency nerf" where they adjusted his teleport slightly. They want to make it seem like, "See guys! We're listening!" But then they actually didn't change any of the stuff about him that was broken. Getting pulled from a mile away into a character that does a million damage is not fun. Like you said, this could all be mitigated with pick/ban in ranked but they don't want players to buy mewtwo and then have him banned every single game. Hmmmm maybe that would encourage them to make him more balanced? It is embarassing. I really REALLY hope they do something with draft soon rather than keep it only for people competing in official events.
They also put a damage cap on future sight. Doesn't stop the fact that you can't run away from a future sight Mewtwo. But at least it's better than dieing in one hit because of future sight.
I played unite at launch for a bit and had a ton of fun, but ultimately most of my friends stopped playing it. I decided to give it another go recently after seeing the surprising amount of new Pokemon added, and was immediately bombarded with menus inside menus inside menus with banners everywhere, all trying to grab at my attention to get me to spend money. It was legitimately overwhelming, like a literal parody of what people think mobile game ads are. Did not even play a single game before I was exhausted with the information overload
ngl it's not that bad. I get like 2-3 pop-ups that you can easily x out of. True the meta and dev-to-community communication is terrible rn, but everything else is pretty solid.
Same. Happened to me, yesterday. In-laws in town and they’re staying in my office, so no PC. All I want is a free, mobile game that I can play on my Switch. What a loss.
I remember deleting my Nintendo Switch account when I was so angry about losing every single match because of Zacian. After a few months, I decided to make a comeback, and I heard about Mewtwo's release. I was actually expecting Mewtwo's play style to be unique and balanced, similar to Mew, where you can decide what moves to use. After all, Mewtwo was artificially created through Mew's DNA. But look what TiMi decided to do. They created a monster that can easily win a 1v5 brawl. Mewtwo's moveset isn't unique like mew, and they're goddamn broken as hell. Pokemon Unite literally sent us an apology letter about Zacian, and right after that, they release Zacian No.2. This is just nonsense. Because of this, my expectation(that wasn't high) towards Pokemon Unite dropped. I can understand if the game is craving for money. Just don't make stuff like this.
I would of loved this move set, similar to how mew can change mid game. •PSYSTRIKE •Focus Blast •Ice Beam •Flamethrower •Thunderbolt •Shadow Ball They seriously need to hire people who know pokemon to make these licenses.
About the Mewtwo event.. does anyone else remember Mewtwo only costing 60 of the event currency? I swear to God he used to be 60 and they raised it to 100. I very distinctly remember finally getting 60 of the tickets or coins or whatever and when I went to go buy him he was 100.
@@maskedfoxx7173 Only way I can figure it is how you say is this: Game updates on a Friday for me in my timezone between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. I get a few hours before work between 2 p.m and 4 p.m. to play before work and then I get home at between 1 a.m. - 2 a.m. in the morning. In those early hours when I am working if they set it to 60 and then set it to 100 hours later when I got home and I didn't notice... I honestly can't remember when Mewtwo actually dropped in my timezone.
Nah you're not going necessarily crazy, if you did the panic parade mode, you'd have enough dice to reasonably get 40+ points reasonably if you got lucky and got 2 15 point rolls in a row.
THANK YOU for putting Lucario as literally the segway screen into Power Creep. When I heard about the game 3 months ago from a friend, I was genuinely ecstatic to hear that Lucario was playable, but I very quickly realized some all rounders outclassed Lucario harder than Id like. Why should I play Espeed when Urshifu's surging strikes has a built in cooldown reduction, guaranteed boosteds after each cast, damage reduction, and a guarateed crit on its third cast?! Why should I play Power-up Punch if Wicked Blow has a guaranteed crit, become unstoppable as soon as you learn the move, can hit multiple targets ALONGSIDE wild pokemon, AND has greater execute damage ramp-up?! I love Lucario to death man, but it sucks to see them get power crept out of the meta, ESPECIALLY when I see a fucking Urshifu in ranked, because I know they're going to get more value than me, for less effort than I spend on Lucario. Dont get me wrong, I still play Lucario to great success, I love them a lot. It's made me a genuinely better player to not abuse broken mechanics and try to get good with mid to low tier Pokemon. So thank you for making this video. Edit: I made this comment before you talked about Urshifu, so sorry for just restating your points. Just understand my rage as a Lucario main
his comment about lucario was straight facts hell after all of this time absol lucario and eldegloss all pokemon from season 1 got the most games for me im still waiting for absol to be great again same with lucario but until then leafeon is carrying absols legacy currently for me
It's impossible to play some all rounders due to being outclassed, I mainly think of garchomp, aegislash and tyranitar, as none are really good. Though, all 3 aren't really good anyway, so even when I play Buzzwole, I still get outclassed. I really wish some all rounders were buffed.
As a new player who just started I managed to get my hands on a mewtwo limited pass with a code I managed to average 40 kills with a height of 48 kills it’s ridiculous
As a coming back Pokemon Unite player that started from day one and quit mid way 1st anniversary, the game has not changed. Part of the reason why I actually left the game is that there really isn't "competitive gaming" in it. There's no difference between Casual and Ranked gameplay other than both teams are actually trying to win. There's no banning, there's no consequences in losing or winning, it's just trying to climb and feeling like you're making progress when you're actually not. I'm still playing it because I honestly want to see the game become better
I started playing day one, took a 2 month break after Tsareena meta, came back a little before 1st anniversary, played until they decided to take Mr. Mime behind the barn, and it's been off and on since then. I can't be consistent with this game since there's no real point to playing beyond personal improvement. Unite has been in a death spiral every since honestly Zoaroark release.
@@supapiece3439 for realll. Ever since that Zoroark bs started and they just made every new pokemon gem locked for a week, the game's just been on a decline
But the fact you're playing it says the game doesn't have to be better because you are playing it. Only by lack of playing can you be heard, yet by doing so players dismiss your opinions.
Well there was someone telling it like it is. His name was Krashy, but everyone complained about him being honest. He kinda predicated Pokemon Unites downfall.
Finally someone talked about this. Every other Pokemon Unite content creator I've seen always tells their viewers that this game isn't "pay to win". In a way, I do agree with them, you can still play any Pokemon you like albeit you'll have a harder time ranking up. It's more like "pay to win" faster, do you remember that Zoroark incident? Where they made him not only gem locked (The one who actually started the gem locking), but also Holowear locked, where you had to buy his holowear to even play as him for a week. That was insane. This game is a rare case of "pay to win faster", they release an overpowered Pokemon and some time after they become purchasable by in game currency, they're most of the time nerfed to oblivion and prevent gamers from playing them or just nerfed where they can't solo carry the entire game.
Very well said. A lot of the claims of Unite being “pay to win” aren’t totally accurate, but it’s undeniable that there are still plenty of examples of it being “pay to win faster” and it’s getting worse and worse.
I haven't played the game for over a year and managed to come back and get to the last tier of masters as f2p, most of the losses were due to terrible team work or people who surrender before the decisive battle over Rayquaza. That's why it's difficult to see this as a p2w game when a retired player can make it back up. I noticed new Pokemons so I made sure to learn their abilities, that alone put me on a better advantage over time and I realized when fights were winnable. Most of this game relies heavily on teamwork more than p2w. I don't see how buying stuff would make me significantly better than I am now. I've seen games where people can have everything and still lose, even I have been on that end of the team. It's more about winning the big fights and staying coordinated and on time to take the important buffs.
@@aigoated it's BECAUSE they're OP when they came out. The people who skipped the grind and just bought said OP Pokemon will just be unfair to those who actually grinded considering the Pokemon starts out OP then gets nerfed after everyone gets it.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention aegislash. He’s one of the most interesting designed mons in the game. Also zoroarks disguise is incredibly unique but he’s so powerful there’s no real point in using it.
True. Aegislash is pretty awesome. I never play it and I don’t see it all that often, so I truly just kind of forgot the thing existed lol. It definitely has some neat gameplay though.
I mean it’s not completely useless since it’s literally just a better more skilled full heal. u will never belive at what i'm about to say: one day i was playing mewtwo (how original), just trying him out after waiting too much just to buy him with coins (i didn't want to tryhard for so long) when i saw that, once mega-evolved, my "future sight explosion" landed a critical hit and did *10k* dmg. I was like "wtf, did I see wrong" but I didn't. Mewtwo it's just broken, I prefer playing forgotten and actually difficult champions like Garchomp and Tyranitar (Tyranitar's early game is just awful, very hard to be actually useful during it)
Mewtwo is so broken that I'm on a hiatus from unite just to avoid it. I was basically forced to always play defender which was getting repetitive but every time I played attacker, speedster or all rounder and there was a mewtwo on the enemy team I would get absolutely wiped
I was A Tsareena main a year ago, after they nerfed the absolute shizzle out of her I lost motivation to even play the game. about a week ago, I got back to playing Unite again except I play with a Dodrio.
Pokémon Unite is in a very sad state. Thank you for taking the time to cover all of this. Your videos are really cozy and refreshing. Can’t wait to see what other games you discuss.
My goodness. I'm glad I stopped playing this sin of a game when I did. Last I played Decidueye was the newest character and we didn't have all these op legendaries and shit. Corporate greed truly is a plague on this planet.
this somehow motivated me kinda too play unite again I am a MEW main and MEWS GAMEPLAY is genuinely fun to me and unite needs a wake up call cause this isn’t it 😭
yeah i got pushed away by absol meta then came back after a while, had lots of fun and then got pushed away by zacian meta. wanted to try it again soon then saw mewtwo and just knew i'd get melted again and have no fun like has happened so many times so i've given up on it despite liking mobas and loving pokemon
I still comeback to this game hoping itd be better but its not. They finally nerfed Zacian but Mewtwo came along. This gave could've been so fun if the devs only knew how to balance the entire game. That's literally the bare minimum and it'd be already 100% better. So much potential yet wasted for the sake of money. I'd let Pokémon unite make a Pokémon op if they give it a higher skill lvl like Lucario,Dodrio,or Zoroark. But no, Mewtwo is literally just press this, press that, and you get a penta.
As someone who got into the game only a few weeks ago (a week or so before Mewtwo released), it didn’t take but a few days to notice all the gripes you laid out here. And honestly there’s even more, albeit smaller, issues that plague a free-to-play game such as this. But dammit, I love me some Pokémons! This is the first MOBA game I’ve ever really sunk time into. I’ve never enjoyed LoL and thought MOBAs weren’t for me, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t instantly connect with Unite. There’s no doubt that my love of the franchise is the main factor for this. All to say, Pokémon Unite made a MOBA-hating noob like me fall head over heels for it. Until the overwhelming issues started showing through, that is. This game could be SOOO much better than it is. Maybe one day the greedy marketing tactics will be a thing of the past, but I sadly don’t see this happening. Especially as long as Unite remains free-to-play.
I think there was something said in Monster Hunter when Deviljho was introduced that if you introduce a Hyper Carnivorous Predator into an ecosystem that cannot support it it will collapse thus Deviljho destroys entire small ecosysytems. In unite a new Hyper Carnivore is intoduced or promoted every other month like Duraludon, Absol, Mr. Mime, Zacian, Umbreon, Lapras and now Mewtwo.
1 year later and we still have a bad game with amazing potential….but that’s every current Pokemon game. How do we not have a hard mode in the core games? Or good side quests? Instead we get a rather small circle island that’s bugged as heck. And a MOBA that’s been forgotten and left to like 5 people to fix and work on.
Great vid I believe the devs talked about limiting held item on legendary Pokémon to balance them or needing them in other ways. For example Zacian only has 2 free item slots and also great vid ur channel is the definition of quality over qauntity
Instead of using quick and cheap shit like that to “balance” pokemon they should just make them harder to use… Like with zoroark and hoopa, you only see a really good one once in a blue moon and they usually shred. You can instantly tell when it’s just some clueless mf using it cuz they got beaten to the dust by a skilled user because they instantly get punished for not meeting that skill requirement. That’s how I believe all the legendaries should be in this game, not point and click…
One of the reasons this game has been a little disappointing to me are the releases and of course the dismal match making. There's over 800 Pokemon to choose from and they decided to make Mewtwo and Zacian playable characters for instance. As for my biggest complaint, the matchmaking; some players are purely spiteful, throwing games and playing in ranked matches where their skill level doesn't match where they sit on the ladder. As a result instead of enjoying the game, I end up begging I at least have ONE teammate that is gonna be good. I think the game needs to punish trolls harder because there's others there that genuinely want to climb higher and enjoy the game.
17:40 SO HAPPY TO HEAR SOMEONE MENTION HOW BADLY CRUSTLE NEEDS BUFFS love to play him but unless I use shell smash it feels like I have to try 10x harder to have 1/4th the effect other Pokémon have on the field, rock tomb and x scissor are so fun but so weak
I personally think he needs a rework with new moves that can work inside and outside of shell smash. He reminds me of a straight up dps tank/defender from other games like Paladin where they deal good damage bc they focus on being brawler tanks instead of support/mitigation/cc tanks
I miss the crits on stealth rocks he was wonderful for objective DPS, and with SS the speed was beautiful Really nice gameplay loop At least A9 is viable still
I've been playing this game since release and I have never been this upset over a single Pokémon. I've seen day one Sylveon, Day one Duraludon, Gengar with hex etc. But Mewtwo? HELL NAW! This META single handedly makes me want to quit Pokémon unite just because of how restricting it is when picking a Pokémon. If I don't use my main I just lose because Mewtwo can shut me down with everyone I play as because I use them for fun. I hope this game can some how recover from this absolute DESATER of a state. I'll keep on playing it but god does this make me want to leave.
Game was destined to fail, its just that people realized how bad it was. Krashy, one of the first pokemon unite youtubers, made several videos of how unite is going to die. What happened? Lots of people clowned on him and he was ridiculed. Couple months later and it looks like he was right. I'm just saying, the was always shit, people just realized how bad it was now.
Its funny now i dont think the game will die (pokemon ip is OP) but the game will never be “good” Its just meh, and they dont care because its a cash cow.
@@Krashy i do agree that the game will never die, but I do believe that the majority of the player base who are knowledgeable of the game will leave, which would lead to the average player skill level to decrease. This would cause even more unfair matchmaking and in turn cause more players to leave. Which just leaves the player base to just toddlers who just downloaded the game.
Verlisify has made so many good takes actually. He was right about smogon and talked about it being a joke and even tried to have a nice and fun convo about pokemon with smogon admins for stuff like showdown and got clowned on. He showed VGC players do in fact use pk hex and gen their pokemon and are all filthy cheaters that have never earned a fair win in their life and to top it all he has been predicting metas in pokemon better than the top tier ones for a while now including unite when he swore by wiggly after buffs and mamo and said blissey needed nerfs before blissey became meta and he had this take after blissey buffs. Pokemon community owes him an apology at this point cause he can be right and kind and civil and still get hate from people who refuse to acknowledge his love and care for pokemon.@@tales9342
I've played Pokemon unite since day 1 and I like it, in the way that someone likes a baby. They're a mess but sometimes they're cute. I agree with everything in this video. Great content!
Thank you for pointing this out in public and giving my thoughts a voice. I've been furious about these new pokemon and wanted to quit several times, and it felt like I was the only one this mad about it. It's a nice breath of fresh air
Every single video you have made(all 2 lmao) have been amazing, the way you convey a message is amazing. Hopefully the devs will change in the future(they won’t but. I thing wrong in believing )
The problem is that this is a TENCENT game. Tencet is very hand off since they only care making money out it, also TIMI the studio behind it also made another Mobile MOBA called ARENA OF VALOR and let it me tell it suffers the same issues.
I said this from day one, Tencent is the developers and they are known to kill their own games by being greedy. I only played for around a year and stop at all when the added the medals I thought it was bs to have that in the game. I came back a week ago and saw more shady "gambling" mechanics/options to get the Mewtwo and to get custom stuff. I don't trust Tencent at all and this game probably live longer cuz its pokemon brand but if it had other name would be currently dying 😒
We have to be honest here. What LoL as well as Pokémon UNITE has in common is that it's either owned or developed by Tencent. All they care about is earning money.
I think the best way to make ranked better right now rather than a draft would be to remove bot matches. A draft would be nice in theory, but new players wouldn’t really have any Pokémon to play as so they would lose to people who pay for the new Pokémon. And how would that work if you only had 5 Pokémon unlocked and all of them were taken? I think also a lot of players don’t understand team comp so this really wouldn’t worked, unless you matched up players based on what role they wanted to play. Removing bot matches would clean up the ranked system so you don’t play with garbage teammates at higher ranks
Bots matches are not the problem. It is the garbage matchmaking and myriad of otber problems this game has that makes it so unenjoyable. I used to love this game, but it just came to a point where it was impossible to enjoy.
Ok so there's a very simple solution to the "I only have 5 mons" and it will shock you to your very core.... Standard mode. Right now the only difference between Standard and Ranked is that Ranked gives rewards, that's the reason why Standard has basically no players (Aside from new people and even more casual players), how to fix this? Draft mode, if people want to play any Mon they want at every given time they would be able to avoid the draft mode through Standard mode where everything goes, of course you would also have to introduce rewards for Standard Mode so that people feel even more motivated to play it and give now even better rewards for Ranked (Since that would require a lot more time investment and skill) There, draft mode isn't a nuisance to casual players and the more competitive ones have a place to thrive :D
I drop the game in end to first year. I got Master 4 or 5 times in the row, but this means nothing. In Master or Lower Ranks, my teamates still suck. I'm still in mentality of 1v9 besides my teamates are "same rank". It's just stressefull. I am main support, but I only can win in jungle because I am not allow to assume which my teamates knows the basic. I don't know the meta, the evolution, new map or jungle, but for me, this game had lost their potencial and now it's just cash grab.
Conspiracy theory, the "emergency nerf" for Mewtwo was planned from the get go because of the BS community letter they released. The nerf brought Mewtwo to exactly where they wanted to release it but tuned it up so it could seem like they did something. I for one haven't played since its release. I cannot be bothered with yet another OP "legendary" running around.
well said! and i wanted to share something, winning in a broken matchmaking feels genuinely rewarding if your team isnt helping, its all on you. this might come off weird but, thats what i like about the game, sure theres broken characters but coming up with a strategies and actually win feels super rewarding.
Ehh... I agree with pretty much all of this, but it's really not as bad as this makes it sound. The reality of the Mewtwo event is more that you'd walk into a match, there'd be a Mewtwo on both sides, and then they'd both kind-of inevitably go at eachother. So still not good, but it sort-of cancelled itself out. And since you just needed to play one match with a Mewtwo X (or get points/wins) to get the daily done, I just played a few matches a day super casually and it really wasn't hard to get them at all.
Fr you actually had to think about what you had to do. Pikachu is on enemy team? Don't take Dragon Dance. You actually had to make decisions. Nowadays pokemon like Mewtwo don't have to think at all and can just spam shit and win.
My man made me think this was gonna be like a few hundred bucks when he says its a large amount. Then he says its $20 like it doesnt cost the amount of basic take out lmao
ngl as someone who used to make unite content the main reason I stopped (outside of the fact that it wasnt doing good on my channel so I just stream it) is because I noticed after zacian and ushifu were blatant copys and just op af that this trend was just gonna continue so I said im good. I still play the game and get to masters every season to keep up my streak (actually got to 1400 with leafeon this season cause Im a goat) but other then that def agree with this video a draft feature is def needed ong
Agreed, I feel like it would just need to be an extra ranked mode instead of updating/replacing the current one. The game and its target audience is a more casual style players than what a true moba is geared towards.
@@mjay8055 oh definitely. I think with how strong the defender class is, everyone should have at least one of those they're confident with playing in addition to any of their attackers. I wish the speedster class had a few more viable options aside from the obvious standouts right now
It's a skill issue if players wanna leave just because they don't have mains. As long as they ban the overpowered characters, then that's all that matters.
The devs never went into this with good intentions, there were sadly warning signs from day 1. No matter how much it was criticized and the devs worked to "fix" things that were day 1 problems, the nature of those problems showed that their mindset was just on wringing money from people from the start of development. You can get these companies to change 1 money grubbing thing or even 2 via complaining but it'll always come back cause that's all they want out of the game, and all they'll design it around.
Wow!keep doing what you're doing this is so well done and well spoken and it is a rare sighting finding a channel with less than 10000 subscribers that has a great microphone so thank you 👍🏾😊 And I'll be here when you reach that 1 million subscriber milestone 😊😊😊
People use Mewtwo because he is the best. I use Mewtwo because he is one of my favorite Pokémon of all time, and would still use him even if he sucked in this game. We are not the same.
About the matchmaking : bots. Everywhere. Sometimes even in ranked. Why? Bc nobody plays this ass game. I do, but i hate myself, so that doesn't count. And the funny thing is that sometimes even my own teammates are bots... I think once or twice even in ranked. It took me almost a week to reach Ultra, bc the matchmaking was't lovin' it. Or me. (i was a master tier support player in LoL, so i had some idea about the game type). And i was still struggling with bad teammates/bots. And even if sometimes im aganst bots on pvp, one of them always chooses mewtwo. Like. What? Anybody experienced the same stuff? Maybe even worse?
I'm still waiting as he is already available to purchase with coins, nerf that fucker now because the Mewtwo Y realease is here and I don't want to deal with both and be like squidward "THERE'S TWO OF EM?"
Coming from smite, this game was a lot of fun but slowly with balance and feeling like a grind to get more mons being a problem, idk I just kinda left. I want to come back, I really do but just feel like I should. At least not yet
Video sums up being a unite fan pretty well. I just want to enjoy this game but the fact that it's always an uphill battle to find that enjoyment sucks so much. Doesn't help my friends don't want to play a broken mess of a game and i don't blame them.
5:45 League doesn't do this. Or well, it kinda does, but it seems more accidental than deliberate especially since there are also those releases that need emergency buffs. Instead, they go the feature-creep route which results in the community being frustrated at how overloaded all new champs' kits are. It's an old meme by this point. Which also kinda makes sense why they accidentally release broken champs and sometimes release useless ones: there are too many mechanics and they don't actually know how to properly balance them lol.
This game is an insult to what it was back in 2021. So glad I left this game. The devs are not only incompetent but also very spiteful at this point. You cannot tell me Mewtwo wasn’t done on purpose after the hell Zacian was
Yeah. I came back to the game because Mewtwo got released, and Mewtwo's been my favorite character since the original Pokemon generation. He feels horrific. Obviously overpowered. That said, despite paying for Mewtwo to actually get to play him, the experience has been deeply un-fun. It's not the ridiculous roflstomp you think it is, it's actually been a string of really broken matches. I can't play a ranked match without being matched up with 0 kill / 0 assist Attacker players who try to goal score against 3 opposing pokemon It's completely absurd. I've carried entire games, then lost at the end anyway because the rest of the team feels like sleeping on the job. I hate it. I've played basically every other MOBA and competitive-type game around, and I've never been great. But I've never hated the experience. I actually, outright hate this. Game feels like garbage.
Huh, wonder if the area one is from has some influence when it comes to game experience. I got back to the game because of the anniversary and I had a great experience, the usual stomping everyone like grapes until getting to Expert rank, and while Mewtwo was fairly strong and I did get stomped by a few dozen of them, I also have been stomped by other Pokémon as well, a good Cinderace feels more BS than a decent Mewtwo most of the time for me. But in general my experience has been positive, although I would agree that Mewtwo is too strong while also not being fun to play, either as or against but I got to master before even unlocking Mewtwo so I don't see him as the huge problem everyone does, he is a problem, but I have seen worse.
@@imatiu here’s my feel: Mewtwo is one data point. He’s a problem, especially on the scale of Pokemon Unite’s power levels (I used to main Blastoise- both before and after nerfs he just felt much more limited than Mewtwo, but also very fair.) But the larger scale issue is really the matchmaking / rank mode. They just insist on pairing you with deeply unserious players the moment you really try to get good. Might be worse also because of my Mewtwo usage- combination of ELO screwage, and mediocre players just kinda sitting back or running when there’s a Mewtwo on their team- instead of, you know, going in with me on big team fights because I know I have enough raw power to gamble if my team backs me up So yeah, matchups always feel bad, and I unfortunately don’t have a playgroup to just queue up with. It’s just solo hell forever
@@kennethyu3950 May be my experience with other games like Unite, but Solo hell has always been a part of those games, doesn't matter ultimately, because while the enemy team has to deal with 5 coinflips, yours only has to deal with 4, if you are doing well, then you will climb fairly consistently. Also have you tried changing your playstyle with Mewtwo? the going all in strategy works if you have good support or stupid enemies but with stronger opponents that strategy is extremely vulnerable to getting locked down or kited to hell and back, hell like 90 percent of my games with Mewtwo I don't get Mega until the later half of the game since going in feels almost suicidal against some compositions.
@@imatiu yeah, I’m super used to solo hell on other games, it’s just 100% worse on Unite, hands down. Literally no other game has pissed me off this bad with teammate behavior, and this includes games where teammates were literally ramming their characters into towers while calling my mother a wh-e I hear you on the not-going-in, I’m already doing that. Just pisses me off because I’m already using the most obvious signals that I’m on the way to an objective and that teammates should group on me to start a fight, but nope It just doesn’t happen. It’s even funnier when a support or tank unit follows me the entire time I’m walking down a lane, watches me engage, and the immediately just runs Why are we even playing this game then, brother
@@kennethyu3950 Nope, can't say my experience is the same, while things like what you described do happen sometimes to me they don't happen often enough for me to be too afected by them. I did have the opposite fairly often, someone going in into a clearly bad fight just to die and ruin the lane making us fight from behind for the rest of the game. Luckily that becomes a rarity after climbing a bit.
Unfortunately when it comes to these greedy practices that are all too often in f2p games the only way for it to change is if people either en mass stopped playing the game almost entirely or stopped spending any money on the game as the only thing they follow is money so if the money stops they are either forced to listen and change or just straight up abandon the game
Unite and Pokémon Go honestly are in the same boat with the blatant money scam they run. Both games core gameplay is fun, entertaining and borderline addictive but to get the full experience of the game you have to spend real world money. Things used to upgrade your Pokémon, items, even something as basic as Pokémon storage shouldn’t be locked behind a pay wall and it’s disgusting. It’s not just Pokémon it’s Nintendo and the state of gaming in general but when it’s manipulated into the core gameplay it dulls the experience quick in any game
I agree with the overall points. The broken hero upon release is unfortunately extremely typical for any MOBA I've played. I wish it wasn't this way, but I understand the profit logic behind it from the developers, and don't really expect Unite to be any different. My win rate is still above 60% even without access to Mewtwo and Zacian so I don't really see myself suffering from that aspect.
I was so excited when I saw Crustle got buffed that I hopped on the game immediately. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. My boi doesn't stand a chance out there! Mewtwo can still catch me while using shell smash with some telekinetic beam thing. Then I just have to watch as crustle gets pummeled. The X scissors cool down decrease did help but not increasing the crits on it really hurts. I feel like since crustle isn't as beefy compared to other defenders he should be compensated in some other way but he just isn't.
Even the main series game is suffering grom corporate greed. The GTS(global trade system) was removed in generation eight and shoved into a half-functioning mobile app. The app is free, but it'll nag you every chance it gets about upgrading to tye paid version. Oh! The national dex was also put into that app. But it's locked behind a pay well. Gamefreak is being firced by corporate to remove features from the main series game to monetize them. Is it any surprise Unite is in this current state? The problem is the Pokemon Company itself.
Playing pokemon unite feels the exact same as playing irl in a capitalistic society. 😂 Us poor always fighting the power creep of the rich money grabbers
everyone here, disclaimer: this game was made by tencent the same company that owns league of legends and theyre incompetent, toxic and evil. dont blame nintendo for it pls
2:58 just play against cpu because that is what i did it still counts for the missions. 18:00 Its not a nerf what it needs its a buff to his health and damage make it like before that it was hard and risky to take down even if you deleted the enemy team they could come back and is not longer a flip situation.
I still think it’s crazy how there’s a Pokémon that can become super strong after level 5, already is strong, can teleport very far OR heal a portion of its HP, use a pretty good ranged attack as an all-rounder, and have a unite move that can threaten every Pokémon on the opposing team regardless of distance. Tell that to anyone in basically any game and their jaw will drop
As someone who plays Unite *ALOT* , even after they incredibly nerfed him, he's still a pain, and what bothers me the most about him is that when you deal good damage, his little purple bar fills up, and then he goes on to annihilate you and your teamates, and the worst thing is, if you get a Mewtwo with a Scizor or Zacian, that's probably the last you'll hear.
Funfact: Mewtwo is banned at the current world championships. Pro players don't have to deal with it but your average player absolutely has to
That is why I wish for Pokemon Unite to have a Ban/Pick system on Rank so nobody abuses OP Pokemons.
People still have to deal with Zacian but eh with the draft system not may teams had to deal with the sword dog. Even with the matches where Zacian was in play it didn't cause that much to change the game.
Yo know mewtwo has multiple counters right? Buzzwhole, mamoswine ninetales even pikachu choosing mewtwo doesnt mean inmediat win
man mewtwo has been the bane of my existence if I dont go surf hydro pump blastoise.
I mean we would just see mewtwo in every match
A lot of people pointing out that I forgot to mention this - yes, there was a “letter from the producer” that released about a month back. Unite has had a few of these, including a “letter of apology” that released around March. They are always surprising to see because of how little communication there is between the players and the developers.
They actually did take SOME ownership over Zacian and stated that they want to be more mindful of the game’s balance. They stated “Our goal is to make appropriate adjustments before each Pokémon’s release in the Global version to ensure all are fairly balanced.”
A sweet gesture, but ultimately meaningless as they released Mewtwo into the game TWO DAYS LATER. I’ll link the letter in the description for anyone else who wants to take a look at it.
I love this whole letter of apology, explaining to us that they were really sorry for all the problems with zacian...
... and a day later, they release a pokemon WORSE than zacian 😂
personally I feel like mewtwo isn't as op as zacian, it has its counters. But yea the letter of apology was just stupid.
That way, people would have spend the money only for it to be nerfed a few days later.
as a frequent unite player, this video is very accurate to how the community feels
very true
100%agree
idk man, the pkmn unite discord community is still vehemently defending that this game isn't remotely p2w.

True

Decided to come back
Lucky me it was a all free trial pokemon weekend so after playing my main Delphox I could test chandelure and goodra
1 or 2 first match were really fun
The next matches the opponent always had a mewtwo, and when mewtwo was barely appearing it somehow could hit and drag me from the half the screen distance and I had no way to flee as I would get a slow down ?
The sour taste of poor balance made me glad I quitted
I complained of what the game became after one year
But basically the second year everytime the game get an update it was just even worse...
Its honestly the most unbalanced moba ive ever played
Technically, aren't they leasing Pokemon out to Tencent to help them build the game? If that's the case you're not just going to be upset at 1 but 2 companies who might've thought they could work together. The truth is now it's clear they have different design philosophies that just aren't meshing anymore.
I have always been vocal about how awful the devs are at balancing. But honestly at this point they're obviously doing these on purpose. And they're assholes for it.
And those of us who are casual players who play this game because we enjoy using Pokemon have to suffer for it.
i wish ppl realised this a yr ago
Most of Unites players know this all we can really do against mewtwo is gang up or run it's just really unfair sometimes it's really annoying when you've crafted the best tyranitar set and then get killed by a mewtwo its just so annoying
@@lilbean5955 People realized this DAY 1, this game has never had a period of balance, there was always at least 1 pokemon that was dominating everyone

Me and my friends made a team to play competitive in this game. It was so fun and we really enjoyed it. But since Glaceon release something started to feel odd, and Zacian was the thing that made us finally quit competitive. Now we only play whenever we remember the game exists. I hate how they made me hate something that I loved
Yo, youre right. I couldn't quite put my finger on when the game started to shift. But glacee release is EXACTLY when.
glaceon wasn't a problem when mewtwo urshifu and zacian exist. Eeevees are pretty balanced if you wanna play a fair game.
Not to mention they make you use gold on the mewtwo dice rolls and gold emblem merges

Low tier main. Absolutely love ya'll

They’re fun to make. They do take time, but I’m really happy you all are enjoying them!
Phoenix is right. I love seeing good Unite videos but the video essay format is rare. Ty for your work.
Nowadays league matches don't really go last 40 minutes, usually around 25
@@plainperson7797 good to know. Haven't played in probably 6 or 7 years but most of my games would go 45 minutes to an hour. I mained nasus and ryze so I thrived in late game fights.

Same. I want to come back, but having to grind back up to be even remotely close to meta doesn't sound fun.
But the fact you're playing it says the game doesn't have to be better because you are playing it.
Only by lack of playing can you be heard, yet by doing so players dismiss your opinions.
Finally, someone willing to tell it like it is... Big content creators like Spragels and CrisHeroes are toeing the line drawn by their paymaster TiMi.

Mewtwo is so broken that I'm on a hiatus from unite just to avoid it. I was basically forced to always play defender which was getting repetitive but every time I played attacker, speedster or all rounder and there was a mewtwo on the enemy team I would get absolutely wiped
I think that Lucario and Tsariana are the one in the same. Both were awsome in the 1 year, but year 2 they fall from grace so hard

Why didn’t they do that with mew2? A mega stone to balance it more out would certainly help
I miss the crits on stealth rocks he was wonderful for objective DPS, and with SS the speed was beautiful
Really nice gameplay loop

The problem is that this is a TENCENT game. Tencet is very hand off since they only care making money out it, also TIMI the studio behind it also made another Mobile MOBA called ARENA OF VALOR and let it me tell it suffers the same issues.
I said this from day one, Tencent is the developers and they are known to kill their own games by being greedy.
Draft mode, if people want to play any Mon they want at every given time they would be able to avoid the draft mode through Standard mode where everything goes, of course you would also have to introduce rewards for Standard Mode so that people feel even more motivated to play it and give now even better rewards for Ranked (Since that would require a lot more time investment and skill)
There, draft mode isn't a nuisance to casual players and the more competitive ones have a place to thrive :D
Loved this, felt so frustrated about this and I’m glad my voice is being magnified by you!

Dragapolt is another example of a strong original pokemon even though its contered by a bit of pokemon
I swear, the unite developers are trying to speedrun the game dying
ngl as someone who used to make unite content the main reason I stopped (outside of the fact that it wasnt doing good on my channel so I just stream it) is because I noticed after zacian and ushifu were blatant copys and just op af that this trend was just gonna continue so I said im good. I still play the game and get to masters every season to keep up my streak (actually got to 1400 with leafeon this season cause Im a goat) but other then that def agree with this video a draft feature is def needed ong
The only problem with a draft mode would be if the enemy team bans your main you probably won’t wanna play and will just leave.
Agreed, I feel like it would just need to be an extra ranked mode instead of updating/replacing the current one. The game and its target audience is a more casual style players than what a true moba is geared towards.
Every player should have at least a handful of mons they are good with, but yeah I could see players going afk over bans😂
If you only using one mon you shouldn't play Pokemon unite because you need probably at least 10 mains for playing pretty well
The devs never went into this with good intentions, there were sadly warning signs from day 1.
Wow!keep doing what you're doing this is so well done and well spoken and it is a rare sighting finding a channel with less than 10000 subscribers that has a great microphone so thank you 👍🏾😊
And I'll be here when you reach that 1 million subscriber milestone 😊😊😊
People use Mewtwo because he is the best.
I use Mewtwo because he is one of my favorite Pokémon of all time, and would still use him even if he sucked in this game.
We are not the same.
i just recently quit the game, best decision of my life tbh
Very good content! Also I ❤ the dk music in the background
As a support main, I am still viable and wanted.
Don't forget as soon as he can be gotten easily, he SUDDENLY GETS NERFED.
Yeah honestly, literally every time I queue for ranked I say to myself "I wish this game had a draft mode."
They definetely do, Nilah Is broken, aphelios was so absurd the esports commentantor didnt even know what to Say, its a shitshow
I can't play a ranked match without being matched up with 0 kill / 0 assist Attacker players who try to goal score against 3 opposing pokemon
It's completely absurd.
@@imatiu here’s my feel:
Mewtwo is one data point. He’s a problem, especially on the scale of Pokemon Unite’s power levels (I used to main Blastoise- both before and after nerfs he just felt much more limited than Mewtwo, but also very fair.)
But the larger scale issue is really the matchmaking / rank mode. They just insist on pairing you with deeply unserious players the moment you really try to get good.
Might be worse also because of my Mewtwo usage- combination of ELO screwage, and mediocre players just kinda sitting back or running when there’s a Mewtwo on their team- instead of, you know, going in with me on big team fights because I know I have enough raw power to gamble if my team backs me up
So yeah, matchups always feel bad, and I unfortunately don’t have a playgroup to just queue up with.
Literally no other game has pissed me off this bad with teammate behavior, and this includes games where teammates were literally ramming their characters into towers while calling my mother a wh-e
I hear you on the not-going-in, I’m already doing that. Just pisses me off because I’m already using the most obvious signals that I’m on the way to an objective and that teammates should group on me to start a fight, but nope
It just doesn’t happen. It’s even funnier when a support or tank unit follows me the entire time I’m walking down a lane, watches me engage, and the immediately just runs
Why are we even playing this game then, brother
@@kennethyu3950 Nope, can't say my experience is the same, while things like what you described do happen sometimes to me they don't happen often enough for me to be too afected by them.
I did have the opposite fairly often, someone going in into a clearly bad fight just to die and ruin the lane making us fight from behind for the rest of the game. Luckily that becomes a rarity after climbing a bit.
There's still time to fix stuff
Knowing pokemon cumminuity(gba games are still alive in cummunity since like 2003)
They can still make a comeback
Real
everyone here, disclaimer: this game was made by tencent the same company that owns league of legends and theyre incompetent, toxic and evil.
dont blame nintendo for it pls
While also being a brute with pretty solid damage-taking and really high attack
As a Sableye main I apreciate someone loving him as much as I do ❤
As someone who plays Unite *ALOT* , even after they incredibly nerfed him, he's still a pain, and what bothers me the most about him is that when you deal good damage, his little purple bar fills up, and then he goes on to annihilate you and your teamates, and the worst thing is, if you get a Mewtwo with a Scizor or Zacian, that's probably the last you'll hear.
I had a realization that i dont hate pokemon unite, i hate capitalism
the world now
