@@freedomgrows I guess the county was hacked here. Someone had them completely shut out and they had to pay some kind of ransom. 🤣 been waiting 6 months. We tried to make all the changes we wanted right away tho.
@Homesteading_heathen yikes, that's a long time! It definitely depends on the county. I know Marion County is pretty quick with things, but Orange County is ridiculously slow. Seems like Hernando is in the same boat. Hope things turn around for you soon!
@a_ka pineapples grow best in temperatures between 68-86 F. Anything hotter than that, the growth will slow down a bit. I'm in the US - Florida - and spring and summertimes here are hotter than that. The passion fruit absolutely thrive here. They should do well for you too.
Nice
Thank you!
I planted a pineapple head about a year ago. I haven’t seen any sign of fruit. How long will it take to set fruit?
Hi! Pineapple plants grown from the tops, or crowns, can take anywhere from 1.5 - 3 years to set fruit. Hopefully you'll see one sooner than later.
Sounds like you’re in the same boat as me. Taking forever to get my house built. Hernando county is terrible.
Yea, it does take a bit. On top of that, our plans keep changing, so we've prolonged it too.

Mine took almost 2.5 years to grow and its size was not big. Maybe because i kinda neglected it.
Yea, there could be several reasons for the slower growth. I feel like mine grew slower too... mainly because of the weather here.
@@freedomgrows i live in india so it gets very hot in summers and if i am not wrong thats what they love. How was your experience with passion fruit.
