I have a bouzouki ...in its neck we placed a graphite rod after seeing that the steel.truss rod made it neck heavy. Maybe a graphite rod would be good also for the oud...what do you think? Already done??
Thanks. Per my conversion I get a littler shy of 2.4 mm for the final adjustment done that is 3/32 of an inch. Does it mean that the best middle of the road oud action is around 2.5 mm?

Also what risha are you using? it looks like cow horn. sounds amazing. if you bought it online could you tell me where? i'm looking at buying a 3-set from a seller on etsy but i would sooner buy whatever you have. sounds so full with the attack sharp but not too sharp.
