  • Oudinstrument.com has full explanation about different tuning of the Oud instrument for every nation.
    Use Free App apps.apple.com/us/app/instune...
    First string at the bottom
Fa = F which is 5 clock on the tuner
Do = C which is 12 clock on the tuner
So = G which is 7 clock on the tuner
Re = D which is 2 clock on the tuner
La = A which is 9 clock on the tuner
And the last string is Fa which is F 5 clock on the tuner
Will start with first string Fa which is 5 clock
If we find our tuner giving 2 or 3 clock that we need to … tight on the string to reach 5 clock
And if we find Fa is giving us 7 clock for example than we need to lose on it till we reach 5 clock
Make sure you hold the right peg otherwise will break the string if it’s the wrong pass
After you tuned the first string of Fa
Now you can tune the second string by holding the first string with our finger like that
Each two strings on the oud are in Unison which is both of these strings are Fa or F
After you tune the same on the tuner, you have to trust your ears by fine tuning the rest
And don’t worry all other strings will be tuned as the same as Fa
    Will learn more next video
