I thought about doing that but I would have needed to find a truck with a 8ft bed 6.5 just wouldn't work. That is why I took out the pass seat and back seat ran the bed from front to back had the Jackery behind the center console, cooler, microwave , coffee pot behind the driver seat worked pretty good.
I'm helping my sister build a house this spring/summer. For the first few weeks I'll be sleeping in the back of my truck. I see his cap is higher then his cab, that would be nice but mine is flush.
That is cool, I thought of doing something similar but I don't want to take out my 5th wheel even though I have only used it 2 times Ina year. Thanks Farmer.
I like these videos when you get to do them. That guy has a pretty sweet set up. If I wasn't hotshot now I could see myself doing that to. Be safe out there bud.
This is a slick set up. I have never put my truck back to stock since i left rv transport, mostly bc i want to go back to it. Been using it as a vacation/weekender rig. I had looked into this bc of nomad life videos ive seen but dont want to spend the $ on the cap at the moment. Maybe 2025. The decked system is good, we have a couple of work trucks with them. Well abused and they seem to hold up well.
Some states like mine don't allow over 10k gvwr with a standard license. Very few 5th wheels are under 10k so when I was in the business I only towed travel trailers. I had a platform in back seat area but could never fully lay flat with my legs straight and I'm average height . If I ever did it I would put a topper and can have a twin mattress and keep comfortable.
Pretty sure I saw you driving on 80W empty on Tuesday in the evening. I was hauling a trailer to Brownstown, MI on my way home. You take a load from IT that night and head down to FL?
Man I’m glad you showed his truck. That was cool as heck. If it was for pulling GNs & FWs I’d build that set up in a heartbeat. Good video bud
It is always nice to see how other drivers have their trucks set up. There is no wrong way to set up a truck. Driver preference.
I think the ideal setup would be a regular cab with a sleeper and a bed delete. That way you could still do 5th wheels.
His setup is cool though
I like seeing the “customization” on peoples trucks.
Now that looks cozy!
I like when you do videos like this. It gives a person ideas. I really like Franks setup, so cool!
Cool Chevy! Love the deck storage. It would be a great option for campers who don't haul RVs, too. Thanks for sharing!
NICE! Tell that fella to remove the TV legs, good greif!
Yes please keep the videos coming👍 I like the fact that you cover different things in your videos.
That is awesome I'm 6ft 6inches tall I could sleep good back there

He did a great job on that setup, and gave me some ideas.

Enjoy every video sir!! Hope you are doing good!!

That’s sweet
I thought as a transporter caps weren't allowed. That's a really nice setup. Really well thought out.
Great video 👍👍
Really like the setup myself. But the only thought I have is, what about the fumes from the fuel tank?
Agree with your concern. Also the heater is close to the fuel tank. You’d have to be confident about not having any fuel leakage.
Very nice setup. Ryan from Dan’s Hitches sells Gyn-Y distribution hitches. Definitely like these type of videos. Stay on the lookout and stay safe.
Please I love the idea some of these guys come up with..thanks for videos
Great update keep doing more of those that’s awesome Setup. Thanks for sharing. Thanks to him for letting us see it and sharing the ideas.

Wow! That's a heckuva great customization on that High Country!
Thanks for sharing this! :)
That setup is awesome. Safe travels.

I’d like some information on what size and how he hooked up the lithium battery. Yes, if you can do more of these and live, that would be awesome
Hello sir. It's nice video specially for me as I'm interested for doing this job.
That’s sweet rig C Farmer what state do u reside from?
That is a great set up!!
Cool setup
Could you explain how the lithium battery works? Is it rechargeable etc. thanks for your excellent videos
I like the set up..but like you said ya can't tow a Fifthwheel...when you need to.
Nice set up, but I was thinking the company I work for doesn’t allow camper shells. I maybe wrong though.
How’s he keep the diesel fuel smell out of the back?
That's the cat's _ss
