Yep. I also thought it was interesting she said it was fine for him to have weekends. If she was truly concerned about safety, that would apply regardless of the day of the week. But, she is a lying sack of crap. I feel for the children when any parent acts this way. She is teaching her children that it is ok to lie and make up stuff if it serves their interests.

She is lying - a CPS worker is never going to tell someone to violate a court order. If it was an emergency the worker would involve the courts directly.
Yep. If they had a concern over safety, they would have taken emergency action through the courts. She is full of it. And, I do not believe for one second that she isn't actively poisoning the children. I loved how much the judge hammered the point of not tolerating any more violations of the parenting plan. I've said on other cases, parenting plan contempt issues should be mandatory jail time, no monetary fines, just jail. I suspect there would be some serious attitude adjustments once people knew these types of games will result in jail time.

Yep. Saw a case where the mother is engaged to someone else now and as soon as she found out her ex got himself a girlfriend she took him to court demanding more child support because she didn't want him spending his money on his new girlfriend 🙄

No one in a better relationship ever needs to make that kind of statement. If they are in a genuinely better situation, the relationship will speak for itself.

@@MarySmith-bc7mf - Her real motivation is all about the money. As long as they have equal custody, she is limited with child support demands. But if she gets more than 50% of the time, she can go for child support. Her contradictory statements about danger of "abuse" but then being ok with dad having the kiddos on the weekends gives away her plan. It had nothing to do with school and everything to do with money.

If CPS doesn't even write a safety plan then they've closed the case unfounded. I don't believe her and feel bad for him. Father's rights need to be protected and are just as important as mom's.

I was waiting for either the judge or the father to acknowledge what she said but they never did. Clearly she's not worried about their safety. Also, did anyone else notice how she said she has the kids right there ready to testify? 2 8 year old girls and a 9 year old boy were sitting there waiting to testify against their dad?! This woman clearly doesn't know how to be a mother!

Mothers seem to always get custody, but that father is strong, and his tears got to my heart! I pray that hateful mother loses full custody!
It is progressing far too slowly, but the courts are starting to get that moms are not automatically better parents. I've long believed there are just as many great dads as there are great moms. And there are just as many dirtbag moms and there are dirtbag dads. Gender is not the determinate. Again it is progressing too slowly, but more courts are leveling the scale.
For those who have never seen it, THIS is classic Parental Alienation 101. The emotional harm she is doing is incalculable. I've seen this happen first hand in my job. It is crushing to see children turn on a parent because the other has poisoned their minds about them. This father is in for the fight of his life as every time she loses in court, she will just amp up the verbal alienation with the children when they are with her. She does not deserve to be a parent.
My mother subjected me to what I consider mild parental alienation, especially compared to other cases I'm aware of.
I'm now 47 years old, and I STILL reset what my mother did. She still continues to bring up these horrible stories of what my father did to her, myself, and my sister. I don't know if my father is alive or dead.
This broad is digging her own grave. She's a selfish, lying POS.
So, no toilet paper and kids getting randomly smacked in the face or kicked in the ribs... but she's okay with them being there on the weekends? Two days of not being able to wipe your ass and physical abuse is okay, but not five. That's just too far.
It is all about the money. If she gets them for more than 50% of the time, she can go after him for child support. As long as it is 50/50, they are both equally responsible for the expense of being parents.

I am a mom, and when I divorced, I never kept my boy's from their dad nor did I even speak badly of their dad. My marriage and divorce had nothing to do with their own relationship with their dad. Love your child enough to give them that special connection with the other parent.. unfortunately, it happens alot and it's the kids who end up with emotional problems because of it.
I so wish more people shared your values. Too many children are psychologically tortured by the bitterness from one parent or the other, or both parents.

Excellent judge. He got right to the bottom of it with his questions. When there are other children (presumably dad's new spouse's ones) in the home, the CPS worker would have issues if the allegations were true.

I think willful denial of parenting time should result in a 2 for 1 makeup schedule. Deny parenting time for a day, then make up is two days. Deny parenting time for three weeks, then make up is six weeks. These are willful acts and it shouldn't be rectified without some hardship on the parent who violated the parenting plan.

Wow! People can be so manipulative. I don’t think CPS told her to do what she thought was best. If warranted, they would have filed the report themselves. I have a tenant who has been told that she needs to move. She claims that a social worker told her to stop paying me for the last 2 months so that she can save money for a deposit on a new place. That is absolute bull crap. They would never tell a tenant to violate the terms of a lease “ to save some money”. Everything needs to be in writing. I am so glad that this judge took control of this situation and put this mother in her place!
If the CPS advised her to withhold visitation, CPS would be going against court order and they would not do it. As much as I do not like some actions of CPS, they would never go against the court order. Thank you, judge for seeing the truth. She lies and lies and lies. Disgusting.

As a licensed social worker for decades and former CPS. Dads use the Family Court when intentionally alienated from their children . When they learn that you fought to see them. It makes a difference.

And exact names of people (CPS, police, etc.) involved in any investigation. When your children are involved, I'd think it would be worthwhile to write down a name or two.

I think the "fine" in child custody disputes should involve a nice shiny pair of bracelets and some time in the clink. I think there would be some serious attitude adjustments if a parent knew they'd get to experience life behind bars. Financial penalties, for many people, would also harm the children. So many people live paycheck to paycheck and any loss of money is problematic.
This was a bit odd. Who says that the cps worker said to file and they have her back. What ? I find that hard to believe. Also finding out she was the party parent absent doing drugs didn’t help her. He needs his kids back. Glad the judge ordered what he did.
It was a bullsh*t statement. She also couldn't identify the CPS person. If she really had that kind of conversation with the CPS investigator, she would have the name of that person.

Parental alienation is a layer of hell I’m so blessed my divorced parents never even let us know existed. Both parents always told us to respect & love our other parent. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t even imagine the Dad’s pain.

How do you not know the date a CPS worker comes to your home? Or know their name? I’d have all that information memorized.

@jennyburns54. Not mention (and this goes for both parents) asking for a copy of the report. Documentation that can be used for exhibits is extremely important. Keeping a log with dates of incidents, etc., is a helpful and important tool.
She’s trying to give the kids whatever they want because she wasn’t there for so many years of their lives. Dad needs to ask to have mom drug tested. Her behavior in court leads me to believe she’s using again.

This is a DISGUSTING case of HOW biased, in favor of mothers, the family court is.
Let's look at Mom's violations.
Lied, under oath, in court, about him withholding the children. Lied, by bringing up a CPS case that was already determined to be "unfounded", made several false allegations, and ADMITTED to denying him parenting time.
Now let's look at the CONSEQUENCES Mom faces. A stern, "You better not do that again!" and then the judge lectures BOTH parents about denying parenting time, despite the fact that the ONLY accisation of HIM denying parenting time was a LIE made up BY her, TO the court.
She has her kids sitting right there listening to it all. Shame on her.

I get so annoyed when parents cannot get along. It is so much easier and the kids are a lot happier when everyone just gets along. It isn't hard.
This so sad 😞 I hate this behavior. I never denied my children their father. I never asked for support. Our issue was ours not our children. As an adult I never spoke about adult issues with our children. We divorced but we never divorced our children. I’m glad our children spent time with their father. He loved them so much. He died and it was such a blessing that they spent his last weeks with each other. This “woman” is a child.
That immature girl will continue to alienate those children just to get back at their father…..this is outrageous….and she is royally pissed. I wouldn’t put it past her to make up reasons to take them to the doctor just to keep away from dad….she’d even lie to the doctor. She’ll also lie to those kids to make them hate the dad. This is so sad. I don't love having my children live with their Dad every other week. But he's a decent Dad, he loves them, they love him, and that's all that matters.Our children got used to it and over the years it has actually worked out well.

Sounds like he needs a camera in his living space AND take pictures of the MOTHER taking off with a care full of kids, EVERY single time it's her week! Furthermore receipts are a simple way to prove that food and other necessities are purchased for the home.

Time for equality under the law. Treat men and women equally, and hold them to same standard. These cases are examples of how one sided the courts are, and favor women when the fathers or men are a lot better than mothers. Manipulating, lying and controlling parents need to be held accountable, just like abusers.
