Thank you all for 25K+ views! This was just a silly animation as a final for my Toonboom class, and im shocked it’s blown up the way jt has-I have had people tell me this made them cry, I have had people tell me they hate it, but I thank you all for encouraging me to continue forward despite it being such a simple drawing, to continue to try and change one person’s life. I will do my best for you all!

This was a final for my 2D paperless class!! It’s my first time making an actual animated film, and I’m really proud at the amount I got done despite working a part time job on top of school :D

that's why nobody talks about it, it amounts to being forgettable. i think it's a shame how every animation on youtube has a comment like this under it from some kid who doesn't know how to judge media, kinda devalues praising the actually good stuff imo

I remember spending late nights just talking to my friend. I'd stay over late, he'd drive me home, and on the way we'd just chat. Talk about the crazy thing their parents did, the weird problem at my job, our most recent hyper obsession, the reasons they can't sleep at night, why I can't ever seem to wake up in the morning, until we were in my drive way. We still kept talking anyways. The loss that still haunts him, the feeling of being trapped I can't seem to escape, and how that one friend fucked us up. We'd keep going till midnight, sharing our drama and comforting each other with a healthy handful of jokes and memes sprinkled in between.
Thank you for reminding me of those times. Maybe next time I see him, I'll just let them pick me up even though I got a car.

Usually the choice of anthropomorphized critters feels either incidental or on the nose, but here, the choice of a ghost and a prey animal saying these things feels particularly meaningful.
Especially with the color choices when expressing fear- is the ghost being honest there, or saying what their friend needs, because they know that fear far too well, as indicated by the color choices?
This reminded me of Night in The Woods. The vibes, music, and situation feels just like when I was playing the game, I love it!
Underrated honestly. As someone who makes art themselves, I envy the animation, it's very clean and the head turns look great. The perspectives and way of showing emotion were done really well. 👏👏👏

The saying that everything works out in the end...im worried about the future. My boss told me at work tonight that everything will be fine. This as I get evicted from my home and will likely loose everything including my best friend, my dog. Suicide is on my mind constantly and the time is very close now.

Whenever I’m stressed out about something I like to tell myself “You’ll figure it out. If you ask any of your friends for one thing they know about you that thing will be that you always figure it out in the end” it helps me cope with the possibility that I fail and reassures me that if I do that I’ll work it all out in the end

I did something to my TH-cam and its been recommending me stuff like this, amazing.
I've been scared of the future for as long as i can remember. I spent the first 26 years of my life living mostly out of obligation, terrified of what would happen when i lost those I was obliged to. I finally transitioned when i was 26, and it's been the start of something new. I'm starting to live for myself now. And it's terrifying, actually having a future and people who care about me. I'm still scared all the time. But it's worth it. Getting to experience new things, even when they're terrible, has been worth it. Living honestly, even though i'm not free from my burdens and truamas, is worth it
