That’s because these apps live on funding once the funding runs out and they actually have to run a business they can’t do it.

HUM is starting in Phoenix and only charge a flat rate of $29.99 a month and the driver keeps all the fares and fees. Just pay HUM a 29.99 subscription fee and the driver keeps 100% for the fare.

These rideshare companies all start out good, but once they have a lot of drivers and well established, they start changing their policies. They are only good until they are not good. But take advantage of it while it's still good pickens.

Lyft just last week sent out a promise for Drivers of at least 70%, but AFTER FEES AND TAXES. Props for Lyft giving a breakdown to begin transparency; It is the first step in being trusted. I got 81% for last week by their numbers. "Fees" include liability insurance for passengers. Tips are included in the total. Of the passenger payment, minus tips, I am getting less than 70%...which is ok if my costs are 35%...but with the slow down in rides post covid, the base fares have me operating at a loss much of the time. Only with incentives and tips can I exceed breaking even.

sorry, but, lyftpink and uberone offer about $1/mile in DFW.

$1.25 per mile/$0.25 per minute and 85% is much better than at least
$0.60 per mile/$0.20 per minute and 60%
A 30 minute ride going 20 miles would be $32.50 on KRO and only $18 on Uber.
That's a 45% pay raise!
(I forgot to deduct 15% from the $1.25 a mile and $0.25 cents a minute but also forgot to add the $0.50 per mile and $0.15 per minute!)
You also forgot include booking fee and other fee on Uber when you add it up they take bit more then 50%
@@RRmelgar Hahaha, yeah I was cutting Uber some slack since they used to take less than 25% and then it got close to 40% but I would have to start doing the math to see if it's really closer to 50%

I live in Colorado and I drive the entire state I go where I'm sent I have a 100% acceptance 0 cancelations in the 4.99 rating. Have Completed 9400 plus trips in and 2 and a 1/2 years technically I just hit my 3rd anniversary with Uber. I am humbled by all the comments about my driving, my car always being sanitized, not just cleaned, sanitized. And I am very very interested in hearing about this company and and I would hope I could get on that list. It sounds like a 1000 as a have already gotten there and I wanted to be one of the 1st ones in fact I believe I even commented on your very 1st video and I was 1 of your 1st commenters to get on that list. With driving between 12 to my highest was 33 miles for a pickup on a toll road and not getting paid for it in a blizzard sign me up. Denver and the entire front range of the rockies is saturated with drivers in the last year a lot of new drivers that have either their spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband driving when the approved driver is done. Riders keep telling me that the photo of the driver is not the same person in their app....not a woman that they see in their app but a man and vice a versa. I literally can tell you more stories our stories but I definitely want to be signed up and I don't have any background issues and have dealt with many issues in the back seat but you do it professionally. I'll continue to watch your video but I really want to sign up and and it would help me greatly being a single I am 60 but I don't look at lol. And as a additional point I wish to make I like your excitement and treatment and Passion when you speak. I found you as I am very fond of the Rideshate Professor Torsten. When I resigned from a 41 year corporate career, I started with Uber. My average. Weekly with being able to take 2 days off was between 1800 to 2200. Now, between the gas. All the drivers and only receiving 41% of what the Rider is being charged, I'm driving 7 days a week just to pay bills...eat once a day. Night and Day of my 1st year with Uber. Again sign me up. Please.

New York City requires TLC plate cars and they one of the strictest rules for Rideshare drivers

So they want to charge the customer higher miles and minutes and also the pickup and this will save the customer? No rider will use this. How about charge the same price as Uber and Lyft and only take 15%. It sounds like Tryps.
Lyft charges 40 something cents the mile, so is not worth to drive. But they carrot drivers with incentives and bonus. In short they charge the passenger whatever they want and and pay the driver whatever they want.

The only way this company would be able to really take off is if all the drivers go there. They would not be able to compete with lift and Uber pricing if the are going to pay that much. There pricing will be too high. They have to get the money from somewhere. I currently drive Uber because it pays the most over Lift. But I find drivers open both apps and if Lift gives a rider they choose that over Uber. But where Uber wins is because they have more Drivers many times riders can not get a Lift Driver
We need a driver owned ride share app. Other than that it's waste of time. Uber and Lyft became the big Problem someone needs to find the. Business solution and make a lot of money. Uber market value today is 130 billion dollar and most of that money is the unfare driver portion of the rides.

Wrong. Next time you have a passenger ask them how much they paid for the ride, then look at what u get paid when u drop of thr pax. They take at least 50% most of the time, sometimes 60-75%.
Here's a business model that 10 drivers can create. Pick an area 5 miles from east to west then 5 miles from north to south. Charge a flat rate of $10 for a trip that starts and ends within the area, additional charges trips going out of the area. Keep the prices stable and watch riders start calling when these rideshare companies are charging $125 for a $20 ride. That's the basic model , work it accordingly to how the market reacts and conditions. Do get your own DBA's , vehicle for hire insurance etc. There are 3 things these Technology companies can't offer to riders.
A ) Personalized Service
B ) Stable Prices
C ) Immediate Response to the
riders questions.
The biggest advantages YOU have is A ) familiarity with the riders
B ) riders actually talk to a human
not a computer.
C ) familiarity with the local area

My account was deactivated because someone lied about never receiving there orders . After trying to appeal twice, even proving proof that I did in fact i complete the orders, after their investigation they said there were unable to confirm if I completed the delivery and my deactivation will stand. Dear if not for swifycrack help I would probably be out of job right now. He's support is pretty much useful.
