We relocated from Chicago 3 years ago. Overall, we love Minnesota. So many outdoor opportunities so close to the city! So much cleaner and less crowded. However, I have to disagree on "Minnesota Nice." It's purely surface and superficial. Sure, some stranger will say "hi" to you, but that's about as far as it goes. I find Chicago is much more open and welcoming to newcomers. Minneapolis is much more provincial.
Hi. I am from Joinville - SC - Brazil and work one unit swiss company here in my country since 2008. This year I am trying move for another unit that swiss company, but in Minneapolis. It will be good opportunity if happen it. So, go ahead first there's interview..., But I like it about our tips. Grateful. Peace out.
It's Nickelodeon Universe with a few rides from Camp Snoopy left over like the gold-panning ride. LEGO Land is an enormous store and even has a LEGO Mech suit guarding it at the entrance and is next to the Crayola Crayon Experience.
Minnesota nice not real. Moved here from another state to work in construction trades. Couldn't find bigger ass holes to work around , once they knew I wasn't a local. Couldn't wait to move.
Understood! My kids get it confused and call it "Legoland" Because the Lego store is right next to the amusement park. Since they love Legos we've just gotten into the habit of calling the amusement park Legoland. Little Pettersen family tradition if you will😂 But you are correct, the amusement park is called Nickelodeon Universe and Legoland is a separate entity!
The amusement park used to be called Camp Snoopy. I still call it that. It's so much easier to say than Nickelodeon Universe. I also still call MoA "the Megamall", like everybody used to.
@@TheAdvisoryRealtyGroupMN The Great Wolf Lodge is right across the way as well and is one of the best places for a family vacation . . . it has a dragon!!!
I think it's funny that almost no western metro suburbanite will talk about our other major city (St. Paul). Maybe in passing but, not the city s a whole.😂 We should rename it St. Dangerfield...
Thank you for the video. Going there soon. I will come back to comment my experience there. Can't wait to meet the nice people 😁

I live in Chicago and I'm really considering moving to ST Paul, MN in a few years, plan on flying there this july
St. Paul is not a nice city: the downtown is dead after work, the city is ugly, and the people are so unfriendly.
It's Nickelodeon Universe with a few rides from Camp Snoopy left over like the gold-panning ride. LEGO Land is an enormous store and even has a LEGO Mech suit guarding it at the entrance and is next to the Crayola Crayon Experience.
Absolutely incredible! Crazy how all of that can be inside of a mall!
@@TheAdvisoryRealtyGroupMN Love it!

Nice thank you
The amusement park at MOA is called Nickelodeon Universe and Legoland is a store inside the amusement park.

Don't move to the Northside, Southside, Eastside, Maybe the westside by the lakes. That's where the $$$ is.
Why say back to back? The Lynx have 4 TITLES BRO!
Minneapolis and St. Paul the people are nice but you can’t trust them they could be very mean and rude, aggressive, disrespectful
How about instead of saying “squeezing by ya..” just say excuse me 🤷🏻♀️
That would probably be easier to say... However that's not the Minnesota way. "Squeezing by ya" and "ope" are our two most used phrases!
I've heard people use both. I usually say "excuse me", but I might say the other sometimes too.
Never heard of the “squeezing by ya phrase” born and lived in Minnesota except for two years in ND, two in Iowa……..
