    I think people don't always take into account the damage ramp that resistance creates. If it were flat effect, sure, Ironclad would be better. But damage per hit is calculated the way that it is, that extra hp is always going to help... and the added threshold for nerdrage doesn't hurt either

    • @billy_cross

      I’m not sure what any of that meant but why wouldn’t you simply have both of them if you want to be a tank you need 15 points in endurance anyway, if you’re not wearing powered armor, why would you not have iron clad and if you can fit it you know 45 health is also good

    • @alexandreboudteault-leblan3815

      For a bloodied build (low health), you cannot put a lot of point in endurance. So because of that, we need too pick one. But yes for a tank build you can pick both .

    Using Lifegiver on my bloodied PA build makes a lot of difference. I stay in nerd rage so I’m always below 20% HP, without lifegiver my 20% is 49-50 HP with lifegiver I sit at like 61-66 HP which with the fact that I’m taking roughly 3HP worth of damage from NPCs on average gives me 5 extra hits I can take. Doesn’t seem like a lot but you notice how much slower you die with that perk.

    If there is a more powerful weapon available for them to pick you from deceased comrades, npcs will pick them up. Also a good anno farm technique for under 50

    Hey turtle, I don’t know from sheep Squatch but if you’re saying that he just has 100% armor ignore that’s not true damage his damage can still be reduced it can’t be resisted because he’s ignoring your armor but it can be reduced by damage reduction perks, power armor for instance, gives you 42% damage reduction on top of any resistance as it might have so it’s not really true damage bleed damage is true damage cannot be reduced reduced or resisted at all, but I’m ignore might ignore your resistance is it does not ignore your damage reduction perks

    Please tell me, Shotguns vs Semi Auto Rifles vs Auto Rifles vs SMGs and pistols vs Heavy Guns and at heavy guns Rocket Launcher vs balistic weapons like minigun and gatling (I made a bloody minigun but I just found after 2 hours of play a gatling that has 100 dmg while the minigun has 33...) vs laser vs plasma vs flamer vs idk... I m around explosions and grenades, ah, there is a heavy grenade launcher too that resembles the .50 cal MG, and gatling plasma is very cool but you have mutations and a mutation is 100 energy resistance and -50% energy dmg or smth.... I m really too exhausted and is too much for me to make a build tbh, I NEED Help guys!!

  • @thevoxdeus
    @thevoxdeus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The only scenario where ironclad could be superior is if you had a steady flat health gain ticking. In that case, the extra efficiency would act as a multiplier for the health gain, and if the gain is high enough, that could make you mote survivable vs ballistic and energy.
    However, the only effect in game that acts like that (strong healing tick) is a stimpack, and stimpacks scale off of your max health, so lifegiver still increases that efficiency more than ironclad.

      @@PunkRockZombie205 it works more against limb damage so YOU can't become crippled. I use to rock that card but scrapped it. I took Ironclad to 5 and some cards just work better while not maxed , at 4 it seemed much more effective to me and I have lifegiver maxed as well , played earlier running both and was chopped to pieces faster than I believe because I was running some texts and now I'm scrapping both because they don't match my play style. Have fun learning and trying new things , the game is getting better.

    I used to run ironclad thinking it was better then switched to life giver,because with the vanguard armor you get more damage resistance with more health, so I thought that maybe life giver would give me another tier of damage resistance

    It would have been interesting to see the benefits ( if much at all ) of not running either of those cards, on this test also.
    Like at the end you did one last test without neither of the cards to show the difference.
    My build just has one Endurance... And I just run Radicool. I could maybe benefit from one of these. But I just do the good 'OL Jump 'N Shoot. Haha.
    Still.. thank you once again for the information! I was actually thinking about making another heavy gunner build because I was curious. About this.
