    I can see adding those chilies and some soy sauce to a nice bowl of Malaysian Oxtail soup or even Malaysian style chicken soup for the winter! Oh I so love the heat! Thanks for the recipe. Can I ask why to discard the end piece?

    • @lilyrosesoul0077
      @lilyrosesoul0077 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - generally you dont eat the part with the stalk so top part is discarded. But the tail end - its up to you really.I include the tail end of the chili as i think its wasteful to discard it & it is edible. Some people just like their pickled green chilis to look all the same shape & size so they dont pickle the tail ends i suppose.

    Hi there, I really love your videos. Thank you for sharing. I am Vietnamese and I've just moved to Malaysia for only 3 months but already fallen in love with the food here. Can you tell me where the asian market you mentioned in those videos is? I've been searching for Five spice seasoning powder but still unable to get it. =( Thank you!

    • @nyonyacooking
      @nyonyacooking  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stephanie Quach Hey!!! Wow...thank you for loving our food :) I loveee Vietnamese food too! Hehe. I live in Germany so the Asian Market I meant was the grocery shop that sells asian stuff. But the five spice seasoning you can find at any local grocery stores or supermarkets like Tesco, Giant, Big Aeon! Good luck!
