    *So amazingly quiet and **Fastly.Cool** in my room! 42db is at a whisper level. I bought 2 and installed myself.Very sturdy bracket and easy to adjust to fit windows of different size. Absolutely fabulous units!!*

      42db is not whisper level! Fujitsu ones are quieter.

    Every HVAC system has to have a lint filter to prevent it from getting plugged. What if you have allergies and want a filter that will filter out smaller stuff like pollen?

    We had our AC unit destroyed at beach during hurricane and had a local guy install two Mitsubishi mini split each with two heads. Lots of trouble getting anyone to do anything down there we settle on a guy now we are not sure how much he knew about the system. It seems to be working fine but he said we could just use one head on each unit if we like while we are not down there. A local guy here in town said we should of left both heads on all the time if we run the unit on smart control (50 degrees) which we did but just on one head. Not planning on going back down for a couple weeks, will it be fine like it is?
    Thanks for the video.

      Thank you for reaching out! It would be difficult to know unless we knew the model number and other information. I suggest you reach out to Mitsubishi so you can be connected to a local expert. We're a Diamond Contractor, and there should be one in your area. Here is where you can find one: www.mitsubishicomfort.com/get-started/contractors or call 800-433-4822. We hope this helps.

    I can not get my cool setting passed 59 degrees is there a way to get it much colder as i live in a hot climate.

    • @kmheat
      @kmheat  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cooling systems are designed to drop temperatures by 20 degrees. So depending on the temperature outside, your system will likely only get your home 20 degrees cooler.

    HI. what if i just want the fan to operate as some times i just need plain old flow of air. Can i just use the AC for fan function. I just want the fan to blow air without the compressor cutting in. Is it possible in mitsubishi electric ac msz ge35va2. kindly help

      KM Heating thank you for the reply. Awaiting the answer 😀

    • @kmheat
      @kmheat  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The answer is yes, it is possible to just use the fan. With your wireless control pointed at the indoor unit, press the ‘”ON/OFF" button to turn the indoor head on. Then, press the "MODE" button until 4 circulate arrows appear. Then, press the "FAN" button to select the fan speed.
      Note: If you have multiple heads, each of the other heads will either need to be off or in the same setting. All heads in a multi-head system need to be in the same mode or off to function properly. Example: You cannot have one head heating one space and another head cooling a different space.

    • @kmheat
      @kmheat  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My first thought is if there are multiple indoor heads and one outdoor unit. you may not be able to have one unit in heating mode while another is set to cooling (regardless of whether or not the other unit is "on"). They must all be in the same mode. Heating or cooling. And this is also assuming you have a heat pump and not an AC only unit. If this isn't the case, you may need to call your local Diamond Dealer. We would be happy to assist you further if you're in our service area. Otherwise, here is where you can find one: www.mitsubishicomfort.com/get-started/contractors or call 800-433-4822. We hope this helps.

      @@kmheat I have a 12 year old unit I think. I have a new remote on order. 10 more days. The power went out due to outside circumstances. Now I won’t have Ac until delivery of remote. Just “venting”. Hope mr slim leaned to have a switch in the unit itself by this time. 2020-2021 is hard enough.

      We apologize for the late reply due to a change in staffing. Thank you for the inquiry! "Best" is a subjective question, but for my money, I'd go for the FH or hyperheat model. They are great for colder climates in which I live.

    How u get the heat to come from it

    • @kmheat
      @kmheat  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, it works the very same way that it does in cooling mode except the refrigeration cycle runs in reverse. So instead of absorbing warm air from your house and expelling it outside the way it does when you operate it in summer, the unit pulls heat (even if it seems too cold for you and I) from outside and ejects it out into the space it is heating. Pretty interesting stuff if you ask me!
      If you are having issues wit it heating, make sure all the indoor units are set to the same mode. So go around and make double sure that each indoor unit is either on heat. Sometimes people will lose their remote or have a thermostat issue that doesn't allow them to make the switch. The other thing you can check is to make sure your filters are not clogged. They should be rinsible and reusable and that usually takes place with routine/preventative maintenance. Beyond those two things, you may need to call a professional.

    Isn't a snowflake a sign of winter? Wouldn't you want heat in the winter? You get cold and that's if you can determine the tiny snowflake from the sun. What about the words heat and cool? Oh yea, that would be too easy, then we wouldn't have all these videos explaining it to us.
