Should always do a 10 min (Hold) 300lb#Nitrogen Pressure Test before Pulling your Vacuum on the Line-set and indoor coil . Nice Video good luck in future Videos !
Confirmation Message from Senville:: The vacuuming process on this unit must be done as a whole, this unit has a shared manifold, you will need to open up every valve using a Hex Key / Allen Key on all the active ports (the ports that are being used, for example if you are installing 3 indoor units, there will be 3 active ports and 6 valves that must be opened). Connect your equipment to any active low side service valve and pull a vacuum, if you are considering a pressure test please do so before pulling a vacuum. Once you are confident that the vacuum is holding and no leaks are evident, only then you should go ahead and open up both master valves with a Hex Key / Allen Key to release the refrigerant. Installation Guideline For SENA/36HF/MOZ
At your place I would also have used “Nylog” and your vacuum was not done adequately, you only vacuumed your blue line since you opened the valve after the vacuum. You should have opened the 4 bottom valves before vacuuming and on one LP only, wait 30 minutes to detect leaks then when everything is perfect open the 2 “master” at the top slowly.
I always remove that corrogated hose and install a clear plastic one the grooves on the hose eventually will create mold because grooves don't allow smooth water flow
I believe oxygen free dry nitrogen OFDN shall use for leakage Testing and at 1.5times of working pressure in lines. The vaccum shall stand for atleast 15minutes @100micron. 16:48
Good morning from South Africa. I am interested in fitting and repairing air-conditioning units. I haven't started as yet but familiarizing myself with the workings of it. I have few questions. Looking at your installation I noted you didn't fill gas into this unit. (1) Can you please help me understand why this wasn't done? (2) You used a vacuum pump to extract the build-up of air within the system, Why did you open all the valves? (3) Wouldn't air get into the system once you open all the valves? Thank you for everything.
The only thing I vaccum is the indoor unit and the outdoor unit is no longer included because the outdoor unit already contains freon gas when the aircon is bought new, so there is no need to load freon. After the indoor unit is vacuumed, the valves will be opened so that the freon comes out and goes to the pipe and indoor unit.
My iManifold gauge would like to say otherwise on the vacume through the manifold. It’s called maintaining your gauge, change the Teflon seals, it’s a thing you should’ve learned while learning to use your equipment.

I want to s Ask if outdoor have one compressor but mult in door unit so how does the out door be stoped by one in door unit while the next one is running? Whe you recomend different room temperature?
The 40,000btu outdoor unit is for the four indoor units. But I only need two indoor units. So the two indoor units are 18,000btu per unit. But when it's four units,it's 9,000 btu.in each unit. when it's three units, it's 12,000 btu.in each unit.
Pioneer customer service is terrible, only got back to me once out of several emails, unit build was very cheap, I eventually ordered an 18000 from Della and it was built like a tank, 22 seer with WiFi which the Pioneer didn't have and was only 18 seer, Della 18000 was the size of an 24000 due to better efficiency and price was basically the same but with a lot more features.
When the valve is opened, the pressure is inside the pipe and indoor unit is already in there. So I tested with soap. When the unit is on during the test, the pressure in the big pipe drop so I don't turn it on the unit.
Compared to single-zone mini splits, multi-zone mini splits are much more similar to VRF systems since they both have one outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor units. However, the biggest difference between a multi-zone mini split and a VRF system,is the number of refrigerant pipes. For example, a 5-zone mini split outdoor unit will have 5 pairs of refrigerant pipes with each pair connected to one indoor unit.Whenever a zone needs cooling/heating, the multi-zone outdoor unit will activate the corresponding indoor unit.In a sense, it works just like a single-zone mini split. However, it is very different for VRF systems. VRF systems use special copper fittings called the y-joint or Refnet to branch out the refrigerant pipe. Two pairs of refrigerant pipes are connected to one y-joint and become one pair of refrigerant pipes again.Whenever a pair of refrigerant pipes passes through a VRF indoor unit, a y-joint is used to connect the new pair of refrigerant pipes and the previous pair of refrigerant pipes. As a result, the number of refrigerant pipes remained at one pair at the VRF outdoor unit.Compared to mini splits, the copper pipe required for VRF systems is slightly thicker because VRF systems operate at a slightly higher pressure.
@craftsmantv7205 so the disadvantages of this unit when the outdoor is having trouble all of the indoor units will be affected? You should shut down all the operating system

why do you need 2 indoor units? is it so that the cold is spread across the room?

That's why its valves should not be opened when vacuuming an indoor unit.
No pressure test , no micron gauge , no torque wrench 🔧, never pull a vacume thru a manifold , how not to install a mini .
She's lucky that the valves didn't break when she tightened the nuts. You're supposed to hold them with a wrench.
