Great video. The house is looking good! And thanks, Dave!
You're welcome!
Out here GLOWING!!!!
Lol thanks
Why did I never think about grow bags? 🤷♀ I have so many from my outdoor gardening days. Brilliant! TY!
Yeah, I think grow bags are probably the best option if you use a media mix that retains moisture. They do dry fast.
This genus is really having moment right now. Thanks for sharing & getting me up to speed. I kinda bought 10 new anthuriums in the past few weeks, so I needed this refresher. Palmstreet has some REALLY great deals right now. So cool you made your own hybrid. That no-sinus is everything! Congrats on the move - wish you were still in LA.
Damn 10!!! Well that’s gon be fun. I’m sure you’ll be a pro, but the time you grow those out.
Good morning Dave. You were missed. Good to see you and the "patients/plants" are well.
LOL thank you!
Heyyyyy
So happy to see you!! Congratulations again on your house and that white kitchen - beautiful!!!
I hope the weather is treating you well over here.
I’m getting into anthuriums and learning from you!!
NC Fan!
Thank you! The weather is actually nice, even with the hurricane threats. I’m looking forward to all 4 seasons.
@@AroidDistrictHappy to hear you’re enjoying the weather! I’m in NC. We haven’t had snow in a few years (I’m a Philly girl and don’t miss the snow at all), but hopefully ATL gets snow just for you!!😊
Nice home! Congrats on the move!!
Thank you!
Good to see you. I was about to check on you. Everything is lovely.❤❤
Thank you! I'm doing good out here, I feel blessed.
@@AroidDistrict You are.Gods got you 🙏
❤❤
EVERY one of your videos there is that high ringing sound, I can't be the only one that hears it.
Probably my broken smoke detector, welcome to renovations in the hood.
@@AroidDistrict no, it's not that. it was the same from your old place. do you always use the same camera? do you really not hear it?
@ no not at all, even from different computers
@@AroidDistrict I checked on my phone, tablet, & laptop. I went back, It's not every video but it's more than half going back 2 years. It's faint but high pitched and distracting. I've bit my tongue this long but I've noticed nobody else has brought it up yet. oh, well I guess. I must have the ears of a dog. keep on kicking ass with them plants.
I’ve just started growing mine in lecca and it’s doing really well.
I'm gonna try Leca on a couple of mine. I'll try anything other than normal potting mix.
Dave! Good to see you back. I’m very interested to see how that anthurium in the water vessel survives, please make an update video 😊
Hey Dave. This video was so informative. I just started collecting Anthuriums. I have them growing in pon. That information about the root system and where to cut helped will help me in the future.
Thanks, I'll be tuned in.
hi Dave, always wanted to know how it works out with these..plastic...things. Maybe you can use cable binders instead of the screws you`ve lost? I have some anthuriums which need some rehab too and I think I give it a try and buy some of the plastic..things. I`ve learned some new stuff in your vid and I am very thankful for your effort to share your knowledge. Thank you!
Yeah I was thinking I can find some small metal screws for them. I think the pots are called “Air Pruning Pots”. I left a link in the description of the video. I’d say try them out, they work great with a lot more moss mixed in.
Broooooo. Not Dr Dave lololol. Get it.
🤣
Good to see you again! Those plastic pots are awesome! I saw their promo video and supposedly it keeps the roots from growing out of the holes, but when they get an upsize the roots are pointed outwards and ready to hit the ground running. Let me know how that works out later!
My anthurium crystalium uses an orchid pot (also lots of holes) and I have it in pafcal and semi hydro w a wick. The thing is going crazy with multiple growth points spouting out 2 leaves at once, then 4 leaves.
I've used those plastic pots for over a year now. I just now featuring them on the channel, since I used them in outdoor greenhouse. They seriously do exactly as advertised. Roots grow opposite direction soon as it hits the sides with the holes, fills in the middle of pot, rather than straight down and coil around the bottom.
@@AroidDistrict game changer!!! I’ve got to give it a go.
I went w your advice w using pafcal w the Thai con. It has became a HUGE problem- as in it grew too well and ran out of space! 😂
@@gaddaitherage8204 I'm dealing with the same issue! That's what my upcoming video is all about.
Common Dave!!!!! Sup Dr. Dave
Your collection is so impressive! How do you like Atlanta? Love your content!! ❤
I love it here in the A. Its a well rounded city that has it all, in my opinion. Thanks for tuning in.
@@AroidDistrict nice! ❤️
Ты просто великолепен
Good to see you. It's been a while.
ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyye 💚
What up Dave. What the Hell.? Why are you just now showing us that root spaghetti turn. We been out here messing up roots just stuffing them down and trying to spread them with our hands, sticks, and whatnot. This post was very informative.
🤣🤣🤣 thank you. I’ve showed that technique long ago with Syngonium roots. But I’ll keep revisiting the old school techniques.
@AroidDistrict I would appreciate that. I used the PODS moving to NC from Cali 4 years ago. I wasn't into plants then, though.
Really like the black pot too with the Pap hybrid! Can’t wait for a plant tour!
Very good information. Do you need to wash the coco husk or just hydrate it? Thanks.
I'd say just hydrate it. Most compacted coco husk will expand when soaked.
@@AroidDistrict thank you!
Dr. Dave...😂
🤣
Looks like you’re living in a better homes and gardens magazine 😂 hella nice. You the new Planterina 🤣 mf Planterino. Her a** better watch out.
Thank you for the shout out I was going to publish my anthurium video today but got too busy. We really in synchhhh 🤞.
Planterino! LMAO. We need the video, asap. I'm trying to roll out another one next week.
stop pointing at me its distracting af. its not a 1990 dre video buddy. were taliking flowers. jk thanks for bthe help. i just sunburnt every plant
