Thanks John. You would not believe how hard it was to get that blade off! It was rusted to the bolt. I soaked with PB for several days, used my impact wrenches and finally got it to budge after applying a liberal amount of heat. I have been watching lots of table saw safety videos - going to be really careful when I get the thing put back together. Thanks for watching and commenting, Bill.
Thanks George! The wire wheel unit is really light as you have probably noticed, but works well when it is anchored down and not pushed too hard. I can always use the big buffing motor if necessary. This one is quite a bit of work - that's why the multiple parts.
Thanks MagDad. There was some other stuff there also - a gas power washer and a lawn mower, but I did not need either of those and did not have room for them. Come to think of it I don't need the table saw either, but I just couldn't leave it there! You know how it is. 😁
Thanks David. Occasionally you get lucky when doing drive by trash trolling! I'm working on the body shell - hope to have part 2 up before too long. It's more work than I counted on. As always, I appreciate your comments. Regards, Bill.
I hope so Michael. I have been working on the saw base, AKA the body shell trying to fix the damage. That will be in part 2. Thanks for watching and commenting, always good to hear from you. Best regards, Bill.
Hi MetalNinja! Thanks for the view and comment. Yes, it was a pretty good score. The base is pretty messed up but hopefully I can repair it - we will see. Best regards, Bill.
Hello Frank! I was really glad to find this and can't believe someone just threw it away. I am trying to get the body shell repaired. Should have part 2 posted in a week or two. Thanks for the view and comment! Best regards, Bill.
