Reddit stories with Shayne is like being tucked into bed by my mother and softly kissed on the forehead, sung sweet lullabies until I fall asleep. This series is amazing, I must plead for more.
I’ve actually put on the relationship episode a couple times and it’s genuinely helped me fall asleep, it’s like white noise and having them fill the audio void as opposed to anxiety and intrusive thoughts is nice
The sister story is wild. "My sister is so stern on me because she thinks I'm spoiled. All I did was commit a crime then fake my identity and push a crime on her. Why do I have to face the consequences of my action?!"
The fact that she got tickets under her sister's name and didn't pay them off, she said they turned into a warrant for her sister's arrest. I'd be pressing charges too.
40:32 I love this mum who’s just like “oh okay you’re gay, I don’t care. Can your boyfriend give me his hummus recipe?” Her newfound love for Hummus was just so strong that she couldn’t care about her son being gay
I honestly approve 👏 God tier parenting. "That's cool. Wear a condom. Give me the recipe." At least this way, her son is protected from STIs, and everyone enjoys the benefits of good food. Plus, because the son is aware that his mom isn't judgmental about his relationships, he knows he can confide in her with whatever teenage relationship drama he needs an adult perspective on without it becoming a whole big thing. What more can a mom want from this scenario?
Reddit Stories is so whiplashy. There's no segway, no transition, no easing in. One moment we're laughing about Shayne accidentally saying big titties and the next moment we're mad at a man
Props to the one guy who SOMEHOW convinced multiple people in his company that they could build team cohesion by watching FUCKBOY ISLAND together. And all the higher ups got the invite like "Oh cool, this won't be problematic at all"
@@mirofeya The bosses wanted to do some teambuilding/morale boosting activity as a team and all were expected to participate, yes. However, I find it hard to believe that out of all the options that would have been suggested by anyone else at the company, this guy said "We should watch Fuckboy Island!" and all the management replied "Good idea. That sounds exactly like the type of show we should all watch together! This won't lead to any HR issues at all." I think the reddit original poster is full of shit.
@@BaronVonDex Did you work during that time? They were trying ANYTHING to "build team cohesion". Watching a sketchy reality show wouldn't have caused any issues.
As an Indian it is hilarious to me that someone thought jalebis are spicy. The fact that she mistook the ooey-gooey sugar syrup for hot chilly oil is otherworldly to me.
Its the fact that she thought a dessert would be spicy, it's very rare a culture adds spice to a dessert, as dessert is usually for settling/calming the taste buds after a flavourful meal. Shes delusional lmao
I don't even really go on Reddit, but I swear I'm addicted to these videos. Just the dynamic of whoever is involved plus getting invested in the stories. The commentary is good so big W
I love how he assumes women just don't bother doing this. Like we just didn't think of it and that's why hysterectomies aren't common. Like if I didn't have a fear of surgery, I would absolutely get one, and I have seriously considered it about once every month... but I'm 19, might as well ask for a unicorn for my next birthday present.
“She’s not an insecure person; she’s insecure about the relationship with his friend because it is weird.” - Shane for President. That’s so beautifully said and validating for her and I’m sure many others.
@@ShyGreenBeanAnother day, another person getting personally offended on the internet over something small. You should be in one of these stories, you seem like a real petty person.
Shane saying “what you’re forgetting is one of those fifty guys would kill you” was so raw. I fucking love hearing men understand and reiterate the points women are making.
The sister one identity theft one. Even if big sis drops charges she's still going to get charged for defrauding an officer. There's no way to walk that one back.
The best part of cheap date is the boyfriend actually enjoyed the dinner. Like he enjoyed the food, enjoyed the restaurant, had a good date, then AFTER realizing how inexpensive the date was, he suddenly wasn’t satisfied with it anymore. He’s not looking for a good time, he’s looking for someone who will spend money on him. He’d rather have an awful time at some ludicrously expensive place than an amazing time at an affordable place.
I mean, I think that the date was a test for him to see if his girlfriend would spend enough money on him and if it failed then he wanted to guilt trip her into thinking that she should. Like the guy just lost his old job because he was too high, he didn’t want to look for a new job, so he decided to make his girlfriend pay for everything that he wanted.
If my partner managed to make me that happy for so "cheap" I would marry them. They know how to have a good time on a budget which is a great skill to have!
The sister story made me SO angry. That person has no remorse for her actions. I’m sure this isn’t the first time she’s expected her older sister to clean up her mess. Good for her for sticking up for herself & teaching that girl a lesson.
I think the problem is that the consequences in this country are absurd. Being an awful shithead in your 20s doesn't mean you should never have a decent chance of finding honest work for the rest of your life.
@@christiangrant2931if she would have just not sped or even when caught owned up to the mistake, the repercussions would be lesser. She’s the one who decided to lie to the police and impersonate her sister. She didn’t care that her sister was literally at the fucking JAIL for something SHE did. I think she deserves the consequences of that. She absolutely did it to herself, and she was willing to let her sister take the fall for it. She literally didn’t give a damn that there was a warrant against her sister for something SHE DID.
@@christiangrant2931hat may be true but how about as someone old enough to own a car, she take responsibility for constantly fucking up instead of trying to put this thing on her sister. She probably would’ve gotten her license revoked or suspended, but that’s her issue not her sister’s. Who’s to say her sister didn’t have other actions on her license and got arrested for her younger sister’s selfishness? Not only did she lie to police, she forgot about it which shows how much she respects anybody else besides herself. It’s pure entitlement that the family endorses.
This one got me too! She was so upset that she was going to have felonies now😮 like, you know how to avoid that?? DONT COMMIT FELONIES!! it's almost humourous how obvious it is!
The mom experiencing her hummus awakening and going through her journey of hummus exploration made my cheeks ache from laughing. I love how it's juxtaposed with her son coming out in a pretty chill way.
@@swordsmancsI wanna see a mom with her friends at brunch going, so I caught my son having sex with a guy BUT they were eating hummus! Have you ever tried it before 😂
I think she it witty and reacted this way because of comments. There was a lot of discussion about recepies and food. So she went along with that joking way.
When I told my dad I was Pan, he literally just went "ok, what's that?". Best chaotic neutral way to handle it and I couldn't have appreciated a more normal human reaction. I hope we get to a point where everybody is just indifferent to stuff like who you're attracted to and we can focus on bigger and better things.
nah. it's how I tend to think about it when I've had friends or coworkers come out as whatever they were and it's how I handled my learning that I'm a not straight. I think it's pretty much the ideal. I wasn't thrown a party when i got my first crush so i don't think my first same sex crush should matter. I'd feel really awkward if I told someone I was bi and they looked at me with concern or elation haha
I have strong feelings about the sister who gave her sister's name/DOB to the cop. She was driving recklessly enough it could kill somebody & acted like it was no big deal. She'd done this repeated times previously & didn't bother learning or making atones (paying the tickets) for past offences. Now she's shirking further by throwing her sister under the bus via impersonation AND not telling her sister about it AND not paying the new ticket. She is the asshole for repeatedly endangering others and for compromising her sister. She deserves the felony charges. It's time... past time, for this woman to suffer the consequences. She may be too old to start thinking of how her bad behavior impacts others, but her sense of entitlement pisses me off. As far as the sister ratting her out? Who knows how far that entitled beeatch would keep going if she doesn't find out there's a line. What's next: credit theft? She needs to learn to respect others.
yeah it isn't anyone's fault but her own and diverting responsibility is only making her worse. there is a reason consequences exist in the first place
Props to the model bestie who slapped the shit out of that dude and told him to make it right with the girlfriend. Glad to see girls sticking up for girls and not enabling bullshit
I agree but based on the story it kinda sounds like she might not consider him quite as good of a friend as he considers her and probably has made it clear she’s not attracted to him just for him to continue bringing up how he finds her attractive, dude is weird
As a thirtysomething, he's right - your twenties are for making mistakes and learning. My thirties are dramatically better than my twenties, there's a lot to look forward to
Oh yeah you have no idea. I'm 27 and after much trial and error and money struggles, I'm finally getting into the line of work I'm meant for and planning to start slowly growing a business soon. A year ago I was working at amazon. 3 years before that? Basically the same job I have now. I didn't know wtf I wanted. Now I do. Kinda. Looking forward to the clarity of 30 lol
I’m 29 and spent my 20’s putting so much pressure on myself to get my life together. It’s like puberty 2.0. I’m excited to turn 30 this year and peak in my 30’s!!
The sister story: we also have to consider that some career paths require criminal background checks that are in depth enough that they would show warrants like that. The older sister's life could be ruined if she didn't give her sister's name. Also, the little sister ruined her own life.
Yes, and the little sister could have at least told her sister about the ticket, apologize and offer to pay the fee back. But no she didnt take any responsabilities. Maybe the older sister would have accepted to pay the ticket if she knew what happened and that the little sister would pay her back. Its the little sister's fault that the older sister told the police about the fraud.
Yeah. Especially considering she probably had to file charges to get the tickets and stuff off of her name. And considering the sister "forgot" about the tickets, not only was she not planning on paying them, but there were probably court dates missed and made the issue bigger than a couple fines.
That little sister gave off the same energy as the cousins my older family members would call crackheads. 0 faith in her considering she had multiple warrants, she shoved a family member under the bus, she never mentioned it to the family member, and seemingly only after it came to a felony charge was she talking about taking financial responsibility. That girl probably had warrants for more than just speeding, but either way I really doubt the older sister even had any other options given she was notified of a warrant for her arrest related to a ticket she never received. So ridiculous
I like how she said she didn't deserve the 2 felonies. Like, YES YOU DO! YOU COMMITTED THE CRIMES, YOU DESERVE TO BE CHARGED FOR THOSE CRIMES! The sister needs a better support system than her family. I hope she has a good group of friends. This definitely has "golden child" vibes to it.
The hummus story was hilarious. Also, what a great mom. She’s supportive of her son, she just wants him to be safe and honest. I love how she was more focused on the hummus then him being gay.
The correct response for the boyfriend who was asked if he thought his best friend is prettier than his girlfriend is “you are the most beautiful woman in the world to me.”
To be fair, if I asked my gf if I was more attractive than any male model anywhere, and she said yes, I'd ask her to get her head checked 😂 It's such a stupid question to ask.
Ian's reaction during the boyfriend finds his best friend more attractive than his girlfriend post gives me life. I could feel his frustration through the screen
Especially the other people siding with the asshole boyfriend. That got me twisted, brought me back to the one with Kimmy and Chanse with the weird Air Mattress story.
That last story is crazyyyy. As I heard once “dudes thinking ‘oh no, what if I don’t get laid after this date’ and girls thinking ‘oh no, what if I get SA’d and murdered after this date’ are not the same thing”
"I'll just remove my uterus" you can't, the government won't let you. Like as a man you can get neutered no problem at 18, women you have to be married with one boy and one girl in order to be able to. Even if you have two kids if they're the same gender it will not be allowed.
If her mom is like "ya, my daughter is gross, and stupid for even asking that question" I can't imagine why she might struggle with depression and anxiety
My theory is the boyfriend makes her look “better” somehow. Like, he comes from money, or has a really good job or something and so the mother wants her daughter to bend over backwards because she was “lucky” enough to find someone like him and doesn’t want her to let that go
Sister Impersonating Sister: I think Reddit overdiagnoses the golden child thing, but in this case, OP sounds like she definitely is a golden child. Maybe it started with her getting better grades than her siblings and that's why she makes a big deal of her going to college, or maybe her family just randomly prefers her. But whatever the reason, I think OP has never really had to face consequences because her parents shielded her from everything, and now, she's finally faced with consequences her parents can't shield her from.
I think it's more of a thing where he sees sex as a sort of transaction without any possible ramifications as long as it's specified beforehand rather than him thinking that they don't have feelings, he just doesn't have a lot of feelings regarding sex other than the fact that he wants to do it and that's how he thinks other people think too.
I think hes just a young kid who REALLY has no idea what being a women is like lmao, this is more so about not being able to view things from another perspective other than his, because for a 16 yo boy lenses life IS all about sex and friends, so yknow i get it, as he grows up and hopefully gains perspective hell realize that having sex is not a priority or the focus for women as much as guys, at least some guys, and that really requires him to reevaluate his whole life philosophy, which revolves around sex obv 😂 Which tbf is understandable for young men
@@thestarwarscosmos5592i love how he’s assuming all sex is good sex, especially as a woman. you can tell he thinks sex is just ramming your genitals into someone else’s and that it would automatically feel amazing no matter when/how/who you did it with ☠️
Shayne, reading: I never want kid, I’d just have my uterus removed. Spence: Is that how it works? Someone in the background: No! So glad someone said it. That was the funniest thing in the whole video to me.
I think what the guy was trying to talk about is a hysterectomy, but he’s ignorant in that bracket too, because there’s a good number of countries where doctors deny a woman a hysterectomy for the sake of hypothetical children she might have, even if the sole reason for the operation is to not have kids
Currently laughing at the last guy so hard because the whole premise of his argument hinges on the fact he's assuming he'd enjoy a significant portion of the sex he'd be having and he can just go have his uterus removed easy peasy LMAO
I love that their first reaction to how batshit insane that story was is that it was written by a 16 year old incel who has never had a conversation with a woman in his life.
Lol pretty sure sterilization surgery is not allowed unless you- have 3 plus kids, are over 35 /40, have helath issues related to periods, find a doctor who is willing to do that, have a husband who is on board with it..... idk I just know it's difficult
Throwing this out there on the last story: This dude is completely missing the danger women face and I'm so glad the guys acknowledged that because through the whole post I was so frustrated. There ARE some women who want to live a more carefree life like that, but they have to be cautious because you never know when the casual hookup will get obsessed and kill you
It also...completely ignores the reality of how a woman who lived the way he thinks he'd live would be treated. Like, buddy, women who have a lot of sex are NOT treated the way men who have a lot of sex are treated lol
@@monmon-vk8rzexactly! He really doesn't know that the society will not let him live peacefully if he ever turns into a woman and has a shit ton of sex!!!
The worst part about the impersonating sister story is that she actually never paid the ticket , she let it go for months to the the point of escalating into a warrant then her sister got arrested ... Don't get me wrong impersonating her sister is crazy but what's even more crazy to me is that she never paid and thought somehow the ticket was going to disappear ... She's a menace with no clues about the repercussion of her actions and if i was her sister i would never speak to her again when i get my own place ... Family is sacred , don't do that to your family .
I'm also going to note that she ALREADY had a warrant for her arrest due to tickets. She consistently got tickets, "forgot" to pay them. This wasn't a one time rush to finals. She knew she did that, but still decided to impersonate her sister knowing she'd get a ticket - and forget to pay it as she always does.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. If I knew I did something as risky and wrong as impersonating my sister to push my crime onto her, I’d do everything in my power to pay off those tickets and make it go away asap. I’d pay for those tickets before eating if I had to. The fact that it escalated to a warrant shows she had no remorse and saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. And her parents are complicit
My brother in law did stuff like this to my husband for YEARS! He had memorized his social and would give it, and my husband’s name whenever he was pulled over-saying he didn’t have his license on him. My husband gets pulled over 2 states away from home, and arrested for various unpaid traffic tickets and moving violations. It was a mess for him!

I got so much delight out of calling up my little niece and telling her to tell her mom she's a chip. "Mom, Auntie says to tell you you're a bitch." I actually love my sister, but that was too good not to exploit. I was so crushed when niece learned how to say chip. 🤣
That's what I was thinking. She made it sound like it looked like a melted down cinnamon candy thing (which is mildly spicy) but it just looked like sugar glass. lmao

As an older sister myself, what Shayne says at 47:04 about being an older sibling and taking it _just_ far enough to scare the crap out of your spoiled/reckless younger siblings is the absolute truest thing. Like, no, I'm not going to ruin your life, but I'm going to make damn sure that you know that it was serious and that one day the person you pull that shit with _isn't_ going to be me.
As the older sibling in my family I really sympathize with this older sister. My younger sister is the favorite of both my parents and the self-centeredness of her post says as much for her too. The sister will have points on her license that could stain her driving record and background checks depending on where she lives. Her younger sis was also careless enough to conveniently “forget” to mention this to older sis and it came out of nowhere for her. Older sister was not in the wrong and 💯 should have gone all the way to court against younger sis
The thing that hit me was the way younger sister describes the situation in the beginning ("of course there was a cop there who pulled me over"), and then at the end she says "My sister thinks I'm spoiled". Like, yeah. That checks out.
Yeah the younger sister needed to come clean the moment after using her older sister's identity... its easy to forgive and correct someone younger who did something wrong but they need to come to you with it right away. The younger sister was just being slick, I can't believe she forgot using her older sister's identity and if it was that easy to forget she must lie all the time. A person who lies like that deserves no pity.
Except that's not how anything works. The younger sister got tickets in older sister's name, said nothing. They weren't paid and nobody showed up to the scheduled court dates to contest, so massive fines were incurred. So the older sister has to eat the fines and ticket on her record, or she identifies the younger sister. The younger sister thinking the older is pressing charges is just a misunderstanding of how it works. Prosecutors filed charges because they have evidence she lied to a cop at a traffic stop. Not up to the sister at that point, nor should it be.
@@NoLimitValkalis yes!!!! It’s not the older sisters choice once she informs the police it wasn’t her. The idea that the older sister should’ve just not said anything to the cops is insane to me! "It really sounded like they were having gay sex, I was super weirded out by it." Spencer: "It's just sex." My respect for Spencer went up like 10,000 fold and I already had a high bar for the dude.
yeah that was pretty legit. It's little shit like that shows who people really are. Anyone can put on a big show, but little stuff is where the real leaks out.
It's crazy that the girl who has been caught speeding so many times thinks that her sister ruined her life when she was just digging herself a bigger and bigger whole and tried to use her sister as a scape goat.
Her family sound like enablers too. TO just not care that your Daughter drives like she is the only one that exists on the road, and speed LIKELY through residential and commercial zones too where there is pedestrians walking around. It's not like she said this only happens on the highway, this is all the time.
Her family definitely loves the youngest most, instead of trying to change their youngest they want the world to change for her. "When I just get in the zone I just go need for speed, fast and furious edition" ahhh yes, when you hit a child while speeding that sure is a great excuse to give in court.
She definitely sounds spoiled and she dig that one herself (who has multiple speeding tickets at that young age?) but I still will say it went too far. We lack any context whatsover but let's just say there was a family meeting about this whole mess and they decided younger went too far and need a lesson to be taught within the family but outside need some protection because it can mess up her whole future. After all parents will always cover for their kids, it's completely natural. Older sister still refuse to drop charges... Whatever you think is right or wrong here, the reality is we have two sisters who are likely never going to speak to each other again. I don't know if it's worth it.
@@maczetamaczeta189 I understand that parents will naturally cover up for their kids, but if it is at the expense of your other children, that's wrong. It clearly shows how unequal you treat your children.

about the speeding ticket situation: the most bizzare part to me was that the young sister "FORGOT TO TELL" the older one that she did this and was suprised that the ticket "somehow" got to the older one. like, with all those previous tickets she'd accrued, what did she think was gonna happen? did she think *at all* ? "oh, she was stressed, she was thinking about her finals" yeah, I don't care, it still sounds like a spoiled child who doesn't consider consequences of their actions.
"I got my sister in trouble with the police due to my irresponsibility and immaturity why would she tell on me and get me in trouble for something I did🥺"
I don't know for sure how the legal situation is but I could also imagine that the sister had to file charges to prove her innocence and to get those traffic violations removed from her own record.
There is a reason that post got put on AmItheDevil and that spoiled brat totally is. Holy fuck what a selfish, ignorant, spoiled, entitled person. I get people thinking it was a troll post because she seems like a made up person. If the post was the real I hope the older sister does nothing and lets the felonies stand. The little sister sounds like she would be an absolute menace to society and this might finally be a wake up call to change. Fuck the family too for siding with the brat, this proves just how spoiled she is. It doesn’t “ruin her life” it changes her life drastically and this girl needs some major changes. She even says “I’m tHe fIrSt oNe tO gEt iNtO colLege” like it’s a huge achievement, a better achievement would be to grow the fuck up. That story was absolutely insane and shows how bad some kids really are.
That’s the most egregious thing about it. It’s one thing if they did it and approached the sister immediately afterwards and told them what they did and apologised for it. But to conveniently forget it until she’s called up upon it speaks volume to who she is as a person
All I want is for the gf in the “my bff is hotter than my gf” story to become best friends with the bff because I love the bff for slapping him after finding out and I’m like y’all should just ditch him tbh. Especially cause she clearly needs a better support system.

The sister impersonating story makes me think the younger sister has gotten used to getting away with bad things because of how their parents sided with her.
Yeah I hope she has to go to court. I feel like that’s the only way she might learn. But some people will still think they’re right and everyone else is wrong.
Same. You can tell the older sister is tired of this shit and the family constantly lets the younger sister get away with all sorts of bullshit. She has no concept of consequences or how she fully brought this on herself
I love how she can throw her sister under the bus for her crimes but when the sister goes to fight it and says no that is not me it is my sister.. THEN it is unacceptable

Just a complement of info, hysterectomy (taking out the uterus) has a lot of hormonal imbalance issue. It puts you in menopause way before time, so you have to deal with hot flashes, loss of energy, thinning of the skin and hair, etc.
“I’d just have my uterus removed” is the most infuriating oversimplification. I have a friend who has medical conditions where getting pregnant would be dangerous. She also just does not want kids. She still can’t get their tubes tied, let alone a hysterectomy because “She’s still young (mid 20s) and could change her mind”. And let’s not get started on how antiabortion laws make a potentially pregnancy even more dangerous for her.
Also, I heard that getting your uterus removed rlly fucks up your hormones, moods, and a bunch of other stuff. Everything in the body affects everything else, it’s a system not separate entities. Most people forget about that.

The sister story had me shaking my head, you know this wasn't the first time that girl had gotten away with shit and that was the final breaking point for the older sister. As someone whose aunt was the baby who got away with literally EVERYTHING while my Mom was forced to be the parent/caregiver and then treated like shit I can understand the point where you just snap and say I'm not covering for you anymore, learn to deal with the consequences of your actions. Bravo for the sister for saying no and doing more parenting than the actual parents.
28:48 there is so much more to a person than just physical beauty!! beauty can mean in character, looks, actions, interests, even just the vibe you give off can be beautiful!
On the Sister impersonation situation, this is clearly somebody who sees themselves as the main character and everyone else is a tool to achieve their goals. The fact that most of her family is supporting it only stengthens my assertion
Exactly. Her family sound like enablers, and the older sister if probably the black sheep that rebelled against her parents demands at a time. Where as the younger one might be a bumbling, irresponsible idiot, but she probably does okay in school and does/looks/acts the way the parents want. But unfortunately for those parents, to just not care that your daughter acts and drives like she is the only one that exists on the road, and speeds LIKELY through residential and commercial zones too. (Where there is pedestrians walking around. It's not like she said this only happens on the highway, this is all the time.) Their youngest is going to end up with felonies, or in jail from murder/negligence/manslaughter when she plows over a person crossing the street cuz she was too busy, "vibeing, just listening to music and not paying attention to road signs." She sounds like JUST the person that NEEDS felonies and her license taken away until she can prove to be a proper member of society and not a spoiled rich brat. It's not like you can't get felonies pardoned if you have enough money and actually show a pattern of recovery and responsibility.
My sister is this way too. Where was everyone caring about the younger sister “ruining [the older sister’s] life” when they were enabling her shitty behavior. Why is it always the older sibling’s job to eat shit just to “keep the peace”? Why can’t the younger sibling have consequences to their actions and “keep the peace” by not causing problems???
@And so it begins He didn’t call it off though I think he was just expressing how hurt he was by the fact that she sees him as so unattractive with the braces that she wouldn’t want to marry him with them. He might be overreacting but honestly so is she imo
@And so it begins We actually don’t know that he was manipulating her? Why are we pretending to know that? He might have actually been so hurt that he wanted to call it off. Threatening to call off your engagement because your partner pushed it back CAN be emotional manipulation but it depends hugely on why the partner is pushing it back. “I think you look too ugly now to be in our wedding photos so I’m going to wait til you look better” is no doubt how he interpreted that, as many people would, and I think any person would feel really hurt and betrayed at that moment. He might actually be second guessing their engagement if he thinks she doesn’t want to marry him if he has braces.
@And so it begins oh please, it’s not healing. They’re braces. It’s not that she wants to wait for him to “heal”. It’s purely about aesthetics. And if SHE were the one with braces and wanted to push it back, that’d be totally understandable. But it’s not her who has the braces, it’s him. If he’s comfortable still getting married with the braces on, it totally makes sense that it’d be hurtful to hear her say that her wanting to marry him seems to be conditional on whether he looks a certain way. If you just found out your SO thought you looked so ridiculous that they didn’t want to marry you until you looked better, I feel like that might be hurtful to you too. It’s not so outlandish to believe that his feelings might have truly been hurt that somehow it’s more plausible that he’s just manipulating her into doing what he wants. I think you’re making some serious judgments about him and their relationship that don’t seem fair for a person you don’t know. It’s great that you don’t want to look like a dork or whatever, but it would probably be hurtful if you told your fiancé that. You don’t want to hear that your SO thinks you look ugly and only wants to marry you if you look your absolute best and nothing less. That isn’t the most important thing to most people.
48:50 The „just can’t help myself“-sister is the golden, spoiled brat that considers herself as someone who is better than anyone else in the family, but at the same time expects them to cover up for her all the time. Hope her sister has a good support system and will have her own family.
How the "boyfriend" described his girlfriend in the BFF story, hit a little too close to home, because I know I could be described that way and how no one but the BFF supported the girlfriend's reaction to his answer is absolutely appalling. I feel lucky that the guy I have a crush on, is like the opposite of this guy. He's called me beautiful on a few different occasions, and he is so sweet... Sometimes I feel like he might have a crush on me too
I agree with you and if you think the guy you have a crush on likes you I would recommend taking initiative and asking him out yourself. A lot of guys are shy and would appreciate the pressure being taken off of them.
I have a male friend who is 5'3 and he always pulled all the girl. That confidence will get em everytime. Crazy how having a personality is more important than height.
Yeah, I'm pretty short myself, and never had problems with getting women. Even after balding. It just comes down to how you carry yourself and being confident, caring and funny.
I know you guys joke about "men still being in their flop era", but tbh I think you three show such great examples of guys who see women as people, and I really think that we HAVE moved forward as a society. Having funny, likeable, and respectful people like you guys with a platform to model the right attitude really helps. Thanks for being cool, guys.
Jalebi is extremely sweet and not even 0.1% spicy. Just imagine you took a funnel cake and soaked it in pure sugar for like a week and then let it get really crunchy and hard. That's basically what it tastes like
This gave me a game show segment idea "sex or humus" where Shane reads a story to the contestants and then they have to decide if it was sex or humus 🤣🤣🤣
My next older brother used my identity in a traffic stop and didn't tell me. I was about 16. My parents begged me not to tell the cops that it was him. I ended up going to court, getting the charges dismissed without telling the cops who impersonated me. But I did tell my brother that if he did it again, I would turn him in.
Thing is, even if the sister drops charges, she still has other warrants out for her arrest. Her getting into college isn't an excuse...she legit showing that going to college for a degree doesn't make you better or smarter than others. 😂
Not to mention its not her sister who "ruined" her life, she ruined her own life by not being mature enough to face the consequences of her speeding and instead lying about things to the cops in the first place an it sounds like the rest of her family is just trying to enable her doing just that. The older sister seems to be the only one who feels she needs to face the consequences.
Tig bitties is funny. I was a kid who said titty for kitty and my dad would always ask where I wanted to go which was always, "Tittyland!!" and he'd smile and softly say, "Yeah, me too." 😂
I knew a kid who couldn't say the word biscuits, so when he was with his mum at the supermarket, he'd loudly ask for big tits. It was so entertaining, people would get whiplash for whipping round so fast :D
Shame on that family for defending the criminal and wanting to ruin their oldest daughter's innocent name with a record. This is why I'm the black sheep of my family, after the mid 2000's the term "family" has lost its meaning.
As a man who is only 5 feet tall, I can confidently say height has absolutely nothing to do with successful relationships, friendships or otherwise. Okay, maybe it does a little. But everyone has preferences. The way you carry yourself matters WAAAAY more. I’ve been with women who were 100% out of my league looks wise. Physical attraction is the smallest, tiniest little part of what all encompasses attraction. So to all my short kings out there, hold your head as high as you can. You got this. I promise you.
Seriously! Like its common sense?? It bothered me that she just straight up ignored her friend saying it wasn't spicy but tbh it bothered me even more that she said no to a dessert.
Finally someone who gets it, though. I was a bit annoyed with the "um spicy is fine" attitude - I get that if you don't get it, it's hard to understand. The answer to how I eat anything is, I often end up sweating. Waiters have claimed such and such wasn't "that" spicy before, only for it to be my definition of unbearably spicy. It's unusual, but it does happen. That said, I would 100% take my friend's word for it, assuming they understood my issues. So I think OP was in the wrong, but I get it.
I have an ex who was allergic to anything with capsaicin she had to be very careful with everything and would generally avoid anything that seems that it had nothing or she would go over the ingredients completely.
The story about the bf getting pissed about the gf only spending $20 on him for their anniversary absolutely broke my heart. I've been married for 5 years and my husband and I have only spent more than 40-50 dollars on anniversary celebrations 1 time. As the guys stated, it isn't about the money you spend, it's about the time you spend together.
That story was truly sad. My 1st anniversary we had planned to go out, but both came home exhausted from work. We opened each others gifts, baked a pizza, and fell asleep watching a movie. Honestly, a perfect night. It is crazy he is completely oblivious to the fact that the point is to spend time with the person you love, and nothing else.
The sister impersonating sister gave me flashbacks. My sister did that. She was also spoiled rotten and no matter what she did to me, in the eyes of the family, I'm the forever bad guy. I still watch old footage from the news when my sister cut off her ankle monitor, ran off with another creepy felon and was eventually caught in a Walmart parking lot in Utah. My family might not think her crimes are a big deal but, thankfully, the law does.
Not to mention, in many cases, the only way for the person being impersonated to avoid the false charges is to press charges on the person who actually did it.
@@delaneykeller1389 I had to cut off my whole family on that side. I have a great partner and my In-Laws are the best. They helped me get away and are so supportive. I'm doing much better now. Thank you so much for caring.
Yea I don't agree with them on that one like it might ruin her life but she did it, it's serious crimes it doesn't matter if you are young, you committed literal felonies. And this could have seriously affected the innocent sister. The fact her family is just okay with it and want her to get off free makes me so upset.

The fact that the sister who got the traffic ticket posted her story on AITA and not TIFU really tells me all I need to know about her
The Hummus coverup was so funny! I also love how OP didn't make their son being gay a big deal but was more focused on the damn Hummus 😂
I mean, it is hummus. Side note, olives are good in hummus.
I'm gonna try and make one myself. Now I'm curious what it taste like

Yeah, yeah, he's gay but HUMMUS??!!

That last guy was a perfect example of ‘tell me you view women as sex objects without telling me you view women as sex objects’
It honestly just sounds like he wants to be a lesbian woman in an overly-horny alternate universe

I mean yeah you can just have your uterus removed if you want. Find Adam, he hangs out in the back alley.
I forgot to say, Adam will probably keep your uterus for one of his "projects"
I think what the guy was trying to talk about is a hysterectomy, but he’s ignorant in that bracket too, because there’s a good number of countries where doctors deny a woman a hysterectomy for the sake of hypothetical children she might have, even if the sole reason for the operation is to not have kids
Currently laughing at the last guy so hard because the whole premise of his argument hinges on the fact he's assuming he'd enjoy a significant portion of the sex he'd be having and he can just go have his uterus removed easy peasy LMAO
I wish anything to do with uteruses and birth control was easier.
I love that their first reaction to how batshit insane that story was is that it was written by a 16 year old incel who has never had a conversation with a woman in his life.

Throwing this out there on the last story: This dude is completely missing the danger women face and I'm so glad the guys acknowledged that because through the whole post I was so frustrated.
Her family probably takes care of any consequences so she never really realizes how impactful her behavior is

It's crazy that the girl who has been caught speeding so many times thinks that her sister ruined her life when she was just digging herself a bigger and bigger whole and tried to use her sister as a scape goat.
like it is SO messed up to impersonate another person because you can't stop breaking the law and then say you're not at fault lmao
Older sister still refuse to drop charges...

about the speeding ticket situation: the most bizzare part to me was that the young sister "FORGOT TO TELL" the older one that she did this and was suprised that the ticket "somehow" got to the older one. like, with all those previous tickets she'd accrued, what did she think was gonna happen? did she think *at all* ? "oh, she was stressed, she was thinking about her finals" yeah, I don't care, it still sounds like a spoiled child who doesn't consider consequences of their actions.

It's not like she said this only happens on the highway, this is all the time.) Their youngest is going to end up with felonies, or in jail from murder/negligence/manslaughter when she plows over a person crossing the street cuz she was too busy, "vibeing, just listening to music and not paying attention to road signs."
She sounds like JUST the person that NEEDS felonies and her license taken away until she can prove to be a proper member of society and not a spoiled rich brat. It's not like you can't get felonies pardoned if you have enough money and actually show a pattern of recovery and responsibility.
My sister is this way too. Where was everyone caring about the younger sister “ruining [the older sister’s] life” when they were enabling her shitty behavior. @And so it begins He didn’t call it off though I think he was just expressing how hurt he was by the fact that she sees him as so unattractive with the braces that she wouldn’t want to marry him with them. He might be overreacting but honestly so is she imo
@And so it begins she cared more about her ✨aesthetic✨ than marrying the man she loves, but he’s the petty one? Okay 😅

Here's another consideration most people don't make: Shorter men are often less intimidating for women.
"she didn't have to ruin my life before it even started" - she ruined her own life, she decided to speed around
Y’all I gasped when she dissed on the jalebi. Jalebi is like an indian funnel cake and I love it so much!!
This was so well worded and very accurate
Yeah gonna go out on a limb here and say 1 reddit incel does not speak for all the men in the world
The my BFF hotter thing deserves the line "Divorce the boyfriend and marry the best friend."
Yes.
I don’t think the best friend would touch him with a ten foot pole. I like her energy, supporting the girlfriend.
@@HereForGoodVibesi think what the commenter is saying is that the girls should date and ditch him
@@MILOEBA imagine if the model girl was actually a lesbian lol
Girls stick with girls, good on the friend for being so supportive. Dude deeeefinately deserved that slap.
The pure FEAR in Ian's eyes at 6:35 at the "those people" part has me CRYING 💀
It has "brace for impact" energy 😂
Jalebi is extremely sweet and not even 0.1% spicy. Just imagine you took a funnel cake and soaked it in pure sugar for like a week and then let it get really crunchy and hard. That's basically what it tastes like
I need to try jalebi
I’m watching the end of the “hummus story” and it has me dying. Parent is cool, and hummus IS delicious
She seems like a fun mom.
Parent is very cool, wish my mother was cool like that and actually respected my sexuality. I just love that she got really invested in hummus
This gave me a game show segment idea "sex or humus" where Shane reads a story to the contestants and then they have to decide if it was sex or humus 🤣🤣🤣
*Hummus
They were definitely having gay sex. The hummus was just there to watch and maybe lube?
Yea 100%
lol
I could see this as a one off special
Ian's confidence while saying "Don't go chasing waterfalls" was priceless 😂😂😂
i DIED! And the fact NO ONE clocked it 😂
And then Spencer with “it sounds like we need a resolution” yet that’s an Aaliyah song 😭😭

Ian, Shayne, and Spencer?!? Best way to get me to click on a video, my favorite unholy trinity.
If the sole work of one man emailing Beyonce starts a Destiny’s Child comeback - get him a trophy
We should start a go fund me for him.
Ian doubling down on gay sex is the funniest shit I've heard in awhile and the reason why he's my favorite chaos demon.
The amount of top tier jokes Spencer made that nobody in the cast acknowledged was crazy, he was on a roll 🤣
I doubt the felony level charges will stick. She’ll probably get charged with something but it won’t ‘ruin’ her life.
Tig bitties is funny. I was a kid who said titty for kitty and my dad would always ask where I wanted to go which was always, "Tittyland!!" and he'd smile and softly say, "Yeah, me too." 😂
lmaooo
I'm crying lmaooo
I knew a kid who couldn't say the word biscuits, so when he was with his mum at the supermarket, he'd loudly ask for big tits. It was so entertaining, people would get whiplash for whipping round so fast :D
Boob world!!! Boob world!!!
Me too bud
Shame on that family for defending the criminal and wanting to ruin their oldest daughter's innocent name with a record. This is why I'm the black sheep of my family, after the mid 2000's the term "family" has lost its meaning.
they clearly had a favorite child lol
Families have always been like this, it's just easier to fight that bullshit now than it used to be.
100%. OP wasn’t a short king he was a short jester
I love you for this
As someone with Gerd who had to be careful with eating spicy things, I would automatically assume that anything dessert wise wouldn’t be spicy.
Seriously! Like its common sense?? It bothered me that she just straight up ignored her friend saying it wasn't spicy but tbh it bothered me even more that she said no to a dessert.
well we have chilli rasgullas but they're mostly sweet and little spicy. But I would believe someone if that person says that it wont be spicy.
As someone with a spice allergy I would have tried it without thought other than asking if it has cinnamon
The bill was $40. Why did she only pay $20? The bf is still an asshole
For those wondering, Jalebi is a fried indian sweet that's like 80% sugar, it looks orange cause of the saffron and food coloring
That sounds so unhealthy and delicious at the same time.
@@nealfirstofhisname I know. I want, like, 10 of them now.
And it is amazing!
Sounds spicy as hell
Since saffron is a spice, does it count as spicy food?
God, the hummus story is so funny. The whole "saying things that apply to sex but also to innocent things" kind of humour is incredibly funny.
Talking about your kids and then immediately going into detail about eating humus is the most mom/dad thing 😂😂😂
Holy shit are you okay? Did you find a new family?
Not to mention, in many cases, the only way for the person being impersonated to avoid the false charges is to press charges on the person who actually did it.
@@delaneykeller1389 I had to cut off my whole family on that side. I have a great partner and my In-Laws are the best. They helped me get away and are so supportive. I'm doing much better now. Thank you so much for caring.
@@Sabbathtage I'm so glad you're in a better place and have a good support system!
Yea I don't agree with them on that one like it might ruin her life but she did it, it's serious crimes it doesn't matter if you are young, you committed literal felonies. And this could have seriously affected the innocent sister. The fact her family is just okay with it and want her to get off free makes me so upset.
