    Definitely going to bring Null into my new campaign setting I had already had an idea for running a campaign where the main goal was hunting down dragons because of all the new stuff in Fizbans but I wasn’t sure how to justify a party that would kill chromatic, gemstone and metallic dragons. Though if the great nullification was taking place and by some manner of dark magic the solar eclipse was made permanent and all manner of Null worshipping dragons began ravaging the land endlessly then that would make for a good plot hook for any morally aligned party.

      I always love me some permanent solar eclipses xD

    So happy to see a video go into this dragon god, currently playing a necromancer who follows the guardian of the lost aspect in the ToD campaign. Also your art of Null is pretty rad

    I love these lores that you put up and there are some things I didn't know about certain beings and who would be aligned to them. Null is definitely the one I would love to have in a campaign I am working on. Cause most of the time everyone is fighting Tiamat or whatever deadly dragon and Null feels left out. If there's written stats for him, that would be great along with the staff to make like a high priest for him to fight against the party.

    My friend stumbled upon Null today and called to fuel my neurons with something new.
    I already have a Monk of the four elements who is housing the soul of a sapphire dracolich.
    My wife's character, his gf, has sent the rest of the party in the Feywild and is currently in stasis while she DMs while I play little creatures (just to give me a quick break). This monk will find her there, alone next to the road South of Baldur's Gate and as time passes, it will break his spirit and bring back the dracolich's penchant for fatalism, corrupting it in the process. The party now has to somehow separate the soul from him to save him but doing so has fatal consequences if done wrong.

    In a campaign I'm in I haven't decided what being my dragonborn sorcerer follows and I think I might choose Null (they are a former vampire and want to regain their Vampirism so Null fits decently plus they act like a follower of Null not an evil one though) it might make things interesting because last session all of the party has encountered bane in a dream demanding everyone to fight something for his entertainment in his domain (it wasn't said yet what he wants the party to fight because it was at the end of the session) also 1 person in the party wants to kill a god so I think the party can make an agreement on who it will be

    In my world I leaned heavy on null's more destruction aspect as they are a being of rage and refusing to pass on, but they aren't evil they stand in judgment of those you sin in their eyes and their punishment is absolute they are a God of ashes a dust, they are time's claim that all things fade and die.

    Dragon god of death and the dead
    Human followers have dragons in their head
    Split between two aspects
    Both gain respect
    One the taker of life
    The other A guardian to prevent strife

    How would you do the echo knight you mentioned? Have null be the origin of the echo power?

    • @itslegendlore
      @itslegendlore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, especially for a Dragonborn or dragon worshiping Pc, they could have died but sent back through Null to serve a greater purpose

      @@itslegendlore I’m am running a campaign were of the big bads is an obsidian dragon who becomes the champion of null’s reaver aspect. I have a player who is getting ready to multiclass into echo knight. He is a dark elf rogue assassin tho and has no connection to dragons so far, though I am thinking about having him introduced to the Drow dragon assassins from the war of the spider queen books (if you are familiar with them) so perhaps I can do something there with null’s other aspect.
