I’ve said it on other videos, but I have an artificer who is in LOVE with dragons! These videos alway ms allow me to work in some ramblings of a new dragon he’s reading about. At this point my DM is perplexed on how I dig out all this lore and I finally had to share the channel with him.
Honestly I really like the idea of weaving my own lore into this as in adding him to the equation of events. The main change would be a new companion for him who's there as a mentor / protector.
Glad youre still going and talking about DND named monsters. Maybe start trying out Pathfinder canon to branch out incase they come back and crack down on this stuff.
This guy is giving me mental images of a happy-go-lucky bronze dragon merrily skipping through the woods and humming a happy tune... while awed creatures watch him prance by, wondering what reality they're in.
Hey! Love the videos, the effort is very clear, credit where credit is due. Any chance we can see something about Sapphiraktar? He's an ancient blue dracolich that's part of the Twisted Rune, and I would love to see anything about him. Regardless, keep up the great work.
This guy would make a great Commander for MTG EDH. "Blink" effects, causing something to leave the field and then returning are excellent: you can escape a board wipe, trigger an ETB - Enter The Battlefield - trigger twice, all kinds of fun and useful stuff. Not to mention he`s practically ZAP proof. With the enchantments he`s master cast on him the only thing your enemies can do is make him more powerful. Shame most SPELL HEAVY DECKS wont be able to do that much with him, since spells from his OWNER wouldn't effect him properly either; sure, you could make him stronger by increasing his Power and Toughness the same way it heals him in D&D, but it would be very difficult to affect him with your own spells because almost nothing affects him the way its supposed to, and he`s immune to almost EVERYTHING else. You could still use equipment on him, since his not enchanted to resist some being put ON him or STABBED into him, but that's about it. Auras, instants and sorceries, those would only give him energy to Blink/Teleport or increase his overall power. But, in terms of his color alignment and what he would represent, with his happy go lucky attitude, positive virtues nature, and all of the knowledge and learning/ experimenting his done in magics he`s and easily White and Blue. But, with his attitude being more driven by INSTINCT and IMPULSE rather then forethought, id also have to assign him to Red for his, well, HAPHAZARD I think is the best work here, nature.
You mentioned both of his parents were great spellcasters and planes walkers. I bet Mystra has an eye on him and a helpful hand when needed, just my two pence.
Imagine if this dragon went to Sigil and went trickster mode on the city. He'd be the reason the queen of pain would make wooden frames of anykind outlawed
Great video and love the bumbling Dragon I had a few interactions back in 2nd edition with him. However since I have switched to Pathfinder and Warhammer for RPG.
probs would've switched to shadowrun if not for these amazing lore videos. and coming from you it reminded me of my countless hours of playing skyrim and watching your skyrim lore videos. love that your back and hope we can all still have a good time without corporate shadows looming overhead.
I haven't been able to play dnd for some time but these videos I look forward to so much. Hoping one day to be in a group that's as lore hungry as I am. :)
The chaos, the fun-seeking nature, the suspected godhood, the way that things just work out the way he wants them to... This guy sounds like Haruhi Suzumiya. XD
I know this isn't exactly related to the video. I'm glad things turned out okay. Before watching your videos I hadn't played any TTRPG in like 6-7 years. And back then I had only played a little bit. Your initial Dragons series got me to want to pick D&D back up in general and showing them to my friends who'd never played a TTRPG made them want to try it out as well. (One of whom is even playing as a Gold Dragon from Monster Classes II. he was so excited to play as a Dragon that there was simply no other option. :P) I would have been very sad to see your ability to make content become so screwed over. Hey! Love the videos, the effort is very clear, credit where credit is due. Any chance we can see something about Sapphiraktar? He's an ancient blue dracolich that's part of the Twisted Rune, and I would love to see anything about him. Regardless, keep up the great work.
So… He is the Jar Jar Binx of Forgotten Realms dragons. As far as his luck goes. Interesting to learn he had met people from Netheril.
A dragon with a heart of a kender! That's just hilarious!
You mentioned both of his parents were great spellcasters and planes walkers. I bet Mystra has an eye on him and a helpful hand when needed, just my two pence.
New spell for the Conjuration school: 9th level spell, "Power Word: Rock"
Effect: A [moon sized] rock falls, everyone else dies.
Happy Sunday guys I hope you guys have a great day
Thank you so much for this! I am currently playing a character who learned from this guy!
Oh, nice. I wasn't expecting a video about Fizban today.
Thanks for continuing this series. I very much am in love with this series!
Is there alot about Argynvost!
I love this series! Dragon lore is so fun
Imagine if this dragon went to Sigil and went trickster mode on the city. He'd be the reason the queen of pain would make wooden frames of anykind outlawed
A draconic version of Mr Magoo. My heart is full
i love this dragon... ima make him a repeat character in my campaign
So basically if Mr. Bean was a dragon.
Great video and love the bumbling Dragon I had a few interactions back in 2nd edition with him. However since I have switched to Pathfinder and Warhammer for RPG.
Big fan of your Monstrous Classes series. Keep it up! :)
good news on the ogl front, hopefully! LOVE your content more than any others!
probs would've switched to shadowrun if not for these amazing lore videos. and coming from you it reminded me of my countless hours of playing skyrim and watching your skyrim lore videos. love that your back and hope we can all still have a good time without corporate shadows looming overhead.
He’s basically the Waspinator of DND then
You rock, thanks for keep making wicked content and staying clear of ogl drama!
Hell yeah been waiting for this
Welcome back we missed u
I haven't been able to play dnd for some time but these videos I look forward to so much. Hoping one day to be in a group that's as lore hungry as I am. :)
Just got into DnD these lore videos help so much thank you! I’m many years late to rolling the dice 😂
As someone who is in the middle of running Storm Kings Thunder, I especially appreciate this one.
Would love it if you could do some Pathfinder 2E when you go through some of your D&D planned backlog.
I love him. He’s my new favorite dragon. He’s just a goofy lil bean who tries his best
My favourite story-telling excuse so far. :)
The chaos, the fun-seeking nature, the suspected godhood, the way that things just work out the way he wants them to... This guy sounds like Haruhi Suzumiya. XD
Mr Rhexx: he even gets stuck on doors.
Every DND PC: He me, fr fr.
I would have been very sad to see your ability to make content become so screwed over. Getting the good ending puts a smile on my face.
I'd love to see a video on Tzindelor. My party are heading to the wyrmheart mine soon.
