Jason I love your videos! Honestly the anxiety plus size people can experience when worrying about the fit for a ride and the walk of shame can rob you of a otherwise dream day! 😢just knowing I'm not alone its been tested and there is a chance makes that's things possible for me to enjoy. I really thank you for all that you do with your content. It's so positive and real! You are putting out great content!
Thank you for posting content. I appreciate your fearlessness and willingness to put yourself out there so that others can go on there favorite Disney rides without the anxiety.
Another thing to consider..If the ride has one bar that covers both seats and you have a kid with you. I ran into that situation. Where the bar was tight on my stomach but way too lose on my kid. I much prefer it when each seat has its own safety bar instead of a shared safety bar.
I have been so nervous about this topic. We go to Disney in a week and I did not want to ruin the trip for my family. I am happy to see this may not be as big of an issue as I thought. 💗
Thanks for this. I’m 5’10 and I’m 494. Seeing this gives me an idea of what to expect. I’m currently losing weight with my highest being 537 and planning on going to DW fall of 2025.
You are amazing! I tried explaining this anxiety to a smaller friend and they did not understand :( Thank you for testing everything so people of other sizes don't have to feel embarrassed or scared to enjoy the magic!
Just a fun fact the carousel was built as Liberty Carousel by the Philadelphia toboggan company in 1917 and debuted at Belle Isle Park in Detroit Michigan. It was originally purchased for 30,000 dollars and each horse is estimated to be worth up too 100,000 dollars a piece as of todays value. Disney was looking for a carousel and he found it and purchased it and now it is in Disney world. It survived 2 parks that failed, the Great Depression and a large fire to find its way to Florida. Thanks to Walt Disney because it was being prepared to auction off its horses individually, they saved it.
Thanks so much for your insights! I'm 6' even, 440 lbs, and I am returning to the Disneyland Resort for the first time in over 20 years in October 2023! I'm just trying to stay chill with whatever happens, but your videos have really helped me to be informed as to what my expectations should be!
I hope you have a fantastic trip. You should be able to fit on most rides. I did do a full checklist and guide. If you were interested, you can check that out at guide.fattestedtravel.com
Just subscribed today and I’m loving your videos! It’s giving me and my boyfriend even more confidence to go to the parks in September. Thank you, endlessly! ☺️
As someone who is plus size I’ve gained about 60lbs since the last time I went to Disney precovid. This was my biggest fear I wouldn’t be able to ride any of the bigger rides like tron and Gaurdians because they are new. I really appreciate your video because now I know I’ll be ok ;/; I’m about the same size as you. Still worried about flight of passage but least I’ve ridden it before
Thank you SO much for this video! We're going to Disney this month and I keep hearing how fat friendly they are but it helps so much to actually SEE the rides. Now, I'm more confident that I will be able to fit 98% of the rides.
Awesome! I hope you have or had a great trip. If you want to see the walkthrough of the rest of the parks here is a playlist and check the video description for my Fat Tested Travel Guide! th-cam.com/play/PL2ZSeqDBixT87g39tKmsBHd5ANBwuDGyx.html
Thanks for all that you do, it helps hefty sized guys like me gain more confidence in being able to take my family on a vacation without the embarrassment of not being able to ride.
It’s a lot of walking for sure. I recommend trying to go for short walks before you ever go to the theme park. Try to get used to walking and being on your feet more often.
Thanks so much for doing these videos! I’m going in about a month, i’m 6’ & around 350 myself, so nervous about some of these rides but your videos make me more confident i’ll be good
I hope you enjoyed your trip.. We are going on Wednesday the last time I was there with my now adult 4 son's I was27 160lbs I'm taking my daughter who is 7 I'm 48 this summer and 256, I'm so worried about fitting on the rides.
Sadly, on our trip Small World did NOT pass the test. Me and my partner were seated side by side in the front of the tiny boat, zero legroom, was extremely uncomfortable (painful, even) the whole ride. And as it was the first ride of the trip, it set an anxious tone in me that meant we didn't ride almost anything else - I was SURE out of all the rides that small world would be no issue at all, but when we couldn't move at all on the ride or sit comfortably, it stopped me from wanting to test any other rides. We did haunted mansion and that was okay, and the winnie the pooh ride, but mostly stuck to shows in the magic kingdom. A real shame that cast member decided we should sit side by side, both of us 300+ and my partner having very long legs. I was so mad.
I appreciate this channel! I think being overweight or very heavy or obese is a disease and I have suffered with this since I was 11 years old and I'm 53 I do believe there are solutions now to lose a little weight a lot of medications on the market now that are extremely effective I've lost a little bit of weight because my bones were just crying out in pain but I understand how difficult this is and I've also been on rides where I've had to get off and do the walk of shame and this channel is something a lot of people can relate to. I appreciate it but I'm trying to get a little smaller and I hope it works after a million failed attempts LOL let me know if any of you guys are trying to lose the weight also? It's not even to look good is to feel good because even when I walk I'm out of breath. I love all of you in this community and I would love replies and I love this channel thank you God bless you all❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey, Just wondering - Debating disney World with my kids - Could you (in future videos) include if a fat person could sit beside a small child? I know sometimes the lap bars are shared - Would it be safe for a 48inch child to be beside you etc.
U are the luckiest ppl alive u can’t fit in the bike on tron but u can fit in the back 🎉🎉 I’m going tomorrow to mk to hopefully get on tron But stil you’re the lucky ones 😊😊 and u can stil see the queue for the ride 😊 I love your videos and it truly help ppl around the world ab fitting or not please keep doing them😊😊
Hey everybody ignore this first world problem. Don’t eat processed food, go outside and walk. Enjoy your life and extend it by being accountable to yourself!
You are a grown man going to a place designed for children and their families complaining that things aren’t catered to work around you. Maybe you should take the personal responsibility to be the change.
Hey James, could you please point to one place of complaining? I can point to hundreds of those families thanking me for making them film comfortable at the parks.

Curious how much walking there is as a big guy I’m not in the best shape so I’m hoping it won’t be to bad

Is a person who is 6 ft tall and 350 lb with a 50 inch waist this gives me relief.
Thank you so much for this. My mom is heavier and nervous about our first trip and this made her feel a lot better.

Thank you so much for your videos ❤
Dude I've been like 6 or 7 times, and I too have never ridden the train.
I have written it, but I’ve still never done a full round on it
You’re a sweetheart for doing this ❤️

I’m 6’0, 290 lbs. will have a problem on any ride at Disneyworld?
Worst theme park to be fat is Six Flags with rides like the Riddler. I feel Disney is fat friendly because their most intense ride has like one loop.
Cool
