W0W! When you took it all apart it seemed confusing, but when you went back together with it after the modifications you did to the air flappers it seemed to be easier to understand the placement of everything. It's something this 74 year old would never try to do to my 2016 S1000 R that I bought used a week and a half ago as there's plenty of power for me. I also have a 2005 Hayabusa , a 2000 R 1150 GS and a 2001 K 1200 RS in my collection. I've been riding for 58 years.

Good for you! That's awesome. We hope we still go wild buying new bikes at 74. Keep it going young man! 🔥

I’ve done the tune and filter for this bike. I noticed a good jump in low end grunt. I haven’t done the IAT relocate and flapper removal. What I don’t get is if the tune will open the exhaust flapper valves 100% of the time, why can’t it open the air box valves 100% of the time too eliminating the need to remove them. What I have noticed on this bike is when the OAT is day 26degrees C , my gauge on the display is within 1 degree so I’m not sure how Brentunes video is showing a 30F difference. And yes my reading is from a standstill on its first start of the day after a few minutes of idling. Let us know what performance changes you see. Thx for the video. Love them. Thx Bill

The website says they can include the 100% open flappers in the flash by request:
PLEASE NOTE: UPON REQUEST WE CAN COMMAND THE INTAKE FLAPPERS OPEN THROUGH FLASHING ONLY. THIS IS FOR CUSTOMERS THAT WOULD PREFER NOT TO REMOVE THE INTAKE FLAPPERS FROM THEIR MOTORCYCLES.

Why did you cut the zip ties from the carrier. It is only 6 screws and the carrier and loom (wiring harness) would fold back with the ecu? And a big thanks for the videos. They are a big help.

I ran slr tunning with btmoto flapper delete and iat relocation if you want to save money you can delete the flappers without the bt kit if you get a rubber plug kit. Bt is just super expensive for all their stuff $450 for velocity stacks i bought them and couldn't tell the difference between them and the stock ones besides tbeirs are aluminum and stock is rubber... if aluminum were so mich better why dont they come with aluminum stock?...

Do you know when you gonna go back to the dyno to see the final results ?
Looking forward to do the same tune that you did here is EU, hope won't be any problem with it

do you recall what size drill bit you used for the IAT? BT Moto has 5/16 listed but seems too small and I can't get the IAT in all the way.

Wow! Not looking forward to the air filter change! The Brentune is on my list of mods but not until the warranty is gone so a few more years before I have to worry about that. Will the cat-delete make it too loud for tracks that check for db levels? Thanks for the awesome instructional videos!

    Nice video ,
But , the flapper on the intake air duct is not necessary to remove you can leave it open with the tuning software in this case BrenTuning …..
The BrenTuning air filter is extremely expensive and won’t get any real extra power , probably 1.5 Hp for +100usd ??? 😕

Idk how after owning a Tuono V4 you could call the dime a dozen inline 4 of an S1000R “sweet music”. They basically all sound the same as all other inline 4s and have no spirit or fire like the Aprilia V4 🤷🏽‍♂️

Don't need a stupid bren tune. Just remove the doors and leave the servo installed and connected. 🤡
