Dope tutorial, I believe that method is quicker. I was trying to figure out how to do something else, but this will really be helpful. Thank you for the tutorial, I think it will really help to dial in or get extra precision when making arpeggios and coming up with melodies. I appreciate it.
damn you did a very great job....I was always confused as to find different locations on different plugins as where the arp is loaded....this one press key....and u r done....thanks
can you use it live? Like do i have to type in midi notes or can i just play the synth with my keyboard and use it? I want to use it with external synths and hardware synths.
Hi Ave, hope youre doing good. I got a problem I'm hoping you have a solution to. So i created an arp pattern using a+alt and i wanna extend it and add some variation in the 8 bar section but i completely forgot what i did to get the arp that i got, so is there no way of actually checking some kind of arp history or viewing the settings i chose?
@@AveMcree Facts u see i typed that before watching the entire video lol. But another cool way too is to use Xpands arp and then the Arp in the piano for Xpanded chaos
Im using Ableton, but i'm tempted to get FL (not specifically for this feature, as Ableton has its own Arp plug) Any thoughts about FL vs Ableton would be welcome.
There's about a billion things MIDI wise Ableton does better. I'm just giving the FL users some help because their tutorial channels suck balls. Nothing but type beat tutorials and the same damn bad tips.
@@AveMcree Cool, I do love Ableton, I just watch a lot of trap tutorials and everyone always uses FL, like I kinda want to have a go on it but I imagine Ableton probably does a better job in the long run. I feel like the glides probably are easier to use in fl.
Ave I respect you because your videos dont start out with "yo its ya boi" lolol
Bavin Geter 😂😂 facts
YO ITS YA BOY!!!!! lol

You da man, man!
Great tip! Thank you!
thanks for this bro
Definitely like the versatility of alt-A over the wrapper method.
Very helpful shortcuts thanks for explaining its very versatile
Nice tutorial
Just got FL myself and was wondering how to do this and then this video popped up, perfect timing;)
Thank you for the help!
Neva knew about doing my beats through the old way. I started out just messing with the riff raff machine in the piano roll.

The Trap Tutorial God🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Why am I only finding out about Alt + A after a year? Lol this is so much better than the way everyone else does it
Your way is best . Thanks.

I like this, thanks
Good channel. Do you have any videos of completing a song in session view & then transfering to arrangement view in Ableton?
Boy Wonder not yet😉
How do I make a whole song doing just that and doing different tricks and so forth
Hey Ave, I'm a big fan, can you review the GM "BASSalicious 2" plugin?
That clone comment got me dead..lol..
How do you not have 10x the subs you got..?
Thanks... Probably because I don't buy my subs like other channels.
Can you do a tutorial on actual arp designing in like electra x?
Use option + A for mac... However, just curious - is there a way to find this control without the hot keys?
It’s under tools in the drop down menu
Please how desactivate the arpeggios, now when i rec with the keyboard put It the notes in arpeggios.thanks
when i use this tool, nothing happens. no matter what i press nothing changes. any help? all the other tools work
Good video Ave. But sorry FL Gang, I dropped my flag two years ago. No more FL banging for me. I've joined a new gang 😁

@@AveMcree no problem, though. Finally figured I'd do it by hand. Took me awhile but finally got what I wanted. Thanks for replying
5:05. Keepin' it 100. Lol.
I would just use the arp in Xpand and layer it with another arp going at a slower speed
Ummm you still wouldn't be able to edit the actual notes.
