      Thanks for the drum kit!
I've made a beat with the following items from your drum kit: Kick 13, Snare 2, 808 4, Hi Hat 1, Open Hi Hat 4, Sweep 1, and FX 1. The dark-guitar-and-reese-bass loop is made by Chuki Beats. I added the guitar melody, a pad, and a reverse sound effect. th-cam.com/video/W-rPG9gvANs/w-d-xo.html

Instead of offsetting the 808, which might make it sound less tight, i tend to rather side chain the kicks to the 808.
That way you can achieve the same effect without letting go of the grip the kick beat has!

I came across this trying to find ways to make Dubstep Riddim drum patterns better. This is inspiring! Definitely want to try and incorporate some of these techniques.

I appreciate the video, I'm a numbers guy and make my beats in double time. But now I understand the numbering for single time. This will improve my work flow and speed things up thanks

I hear you, at the end of the day, double time and single time don't really make that big of a diff if you use the piano roll

been making beats for while now so wouldn't really call myself a beginner, but I'm no where near an expert either and the 2&4 tip really helped me just now. i usually just listened and added where it sounded correct most of the time. thanks
