The airport color is more for aesthetics since items are no longer color locked.
Resetting wouldn't be so tedious and painful if there wasn't so much of Timmy and Tommy dialogue.
i think I'd enjoy restarting but I've done so much over the last 2 years to finish the museum, get special diys and certain villagers that I don't think I could part with it all😅 but at the same time, I wish I knew the things I did now. I hate where my resident services is, I wish it was centered, and that my airport wasn't blue

@@annebates3890 Riipppp! I opened up my island for the first time in a while and I think I should really just delete it bc its never going to be completed lol. I'll miss all the bells in my bank account + some villagers but I think the journey of working up from scratch will be fun😄

I got so stressed by my original island and the stuff I couldn't change, restarting made me happy to open the game again, not stressed or agitated
@@Iron_Stigmata that’s good. I’m glad it worked for you. I saw a video of a girl crying her eyes out and saying bye to all of her villagers before restarting. It just didn’t make any sense to me, why say bye if you’re going to feel that badly about it, you know?
14:33 This is a year old but as a new viewer I just gotta say your chat sabotaged you babes. That one you chose was so cute. I’m excited to see what comes of the island you ultimately chose.
Your flowers also have to do with the month you start your game in. I have a December birthday and got hyacinths as my sister flower which is not a flower for that month. I was shocked so researched it and that is what I found.
I just restarted and I had like 10 must haves- and every single island had one or two not there. I slowly whittled it down to any airport that isn’t green and resident services far away and off to the side. My dream was apples, cosmos, blue airport, big pier, big peninsula, good starting villagers, East/south rivers, and then the resident services super far away and not lined up with the airport. It’s just so hard to get it all haha.
I seriously never knew to take the time to really think all of this through before starting my island and you’re REALLYYYY tempting me to restart 🤣🤣

How to reset island
Go to the settings and then go to data management and select acnh and delete save daa

I am still trying to solve how you restart on Animals Crossing New Horizon. I went into settings and it wouldn’t let me start new island. I thought okay maybe if I move it to memory card and swap memory card. No go it had to download my island which says it’s never been saved online.
I’ve recently started over myself but I’ve not entirely like the island I got a few days ago cause I’m actually looking for a few things and I don’t think it’s working for me rn

But I didn't mind restarting, because now I focus on getting my preferred villagers and items/diys first and then when that's all set, I can build and decorate!
