This was awesome. All heil Stork, the Protoss Hero. He needs to be an Oracle name in a SC 2 cast ;) Something along the lines of after saving the entire race of P in bw, he was honored and upgraded to become an Oracle to keep on fighting against the Zerg invasion. Great cast! Thank you!

14:30 - The map is Blockchain. You are asking about the assimilators. Take a careful look at 15:58 - you can see there are 2 assimilators, 2 eggs, 2 mineral patches, and a worker has just moved through it.

The short version is: it is a dynamic passageway. Dynamic meaning that it can change during the game, in terms of what units can move through it.
The minerals are there so workers can "mineral walk" through it.
The eggs block units like zerglings. Kill the eggs = more room for units to move through the passage. So a player who wants to open up the passage can kill the eggs.
The assimilators do the opposite. If you kill an assimilator, the vespene geyser is exposed. An exposed geyser actually blocks units more than an assimilator. So a player who wants to close the passage can kill the assimilators.

Stork has beaten Flash a ton of times. I think Stork is actually the best Brood War player ever he just takes too many risks in tournaments and gets burned a lot. The longer the game goes, the better Stork does.

@2nd match is blockchain, a map that used in ASL s7 & s8
spawn-base : [11'o, 1'o, 5'o, 7'o]
nat-base: [10'o, 2'o, 4'o, 8'o]
semi-island: [12'o, 9'o, 6'o, 9'o]
semi-island only have half-minerals, half-gaseous
What made semi-island are those two assimilators and two eggs. with a small mineral patch:
[i] Only workers could go through the eggs by clicking the mineral patch and move through.
[ii] If you killed both eggs, then other units could walk by
[iii] If you killed both assimilators (even u killed eggs too), units can't walk through (not sure the workers, suppose still able though). Assimilators have smaller collision size than vaspene, I think it's the reason for this statement.
For Terrans, it might hard to find the third base or fourth just because Terran units hard to moving towards to defend against reaver-drops/carriers/overlord-drops. They tend to make sneaky cheese or timing upgraded pushes or even having centre base while pushing out.
timeframe 1900 - Attempt to make a Drone Drill.
The idea is to select those drones & click on mineral (enable approx. 0 collision size temporary) then move to drill zealot apart from each other.
And might see drilled zealots tend to attack zerglings instead of drones,
assume the reason is either:
[i] drones aren't attacking the zealots
or
[ii] workers tend to have lower prio for enemies if both workers & other units are attacking the drilled units. In that case, player needs to select those drilled units manually attack nearest units.
or
[iii] units tend to respond attack to whoever attacks them first instead of the nearest enemies who either attack or not.

I think the Highest Priority is canon. A >=5 canons-def would be hard for hydra-bust. Make canon counts low wins the game.

The reason why Bisu was producing tons of zealots is to force the other player to produce Zerglings. In this case, the Zerg player would not have enough worms for drones. Keep using zealots to pressure Zerg player and force them produce Zerglings instead of drones at the beginning. This is one of the way how Protoss player beats Zerg player.
1:03:45 No detection to hit the lurkers, they can't target ground like psi storm can.
But they can target friendly units and kill with splash. :)

Omg I've never been so surprised by a result. You didn't put Action in the title with the other players, so I assumed that Stork was beaten in Game 6. Stork really brought it home. It's always great to have a great anchor on the relay team. Queen played so well, but I think the Protoss just finally wore him down... Great playing all around.
Best vs queen. Game 5. Phenomenal. Was rooting for the underdog best. Lots of fun.

Reavers are 100 gas. They're really mineral heavy, though; a fully loaded one (w/ upgrade) costs 350. Resource wise, they're a polar opposite to the other protoss splash unit at 50/150.
Correction (to statement at 22:10): Reavers cost only 100 gas. Yes, both their upgrades cost 200 gas along with the same amount of minerals. But anyway, I agree: Losing them with their Scarabs is painful for all Protoss players. Falcon, I keep my eyes (and ears) on you ;)

I wonder what race combos have the best win rates in team games, on the amateur end it's pretty much all terran/zerg because medics make zerg stupidly efficient but all the races have a surprising amount of synergy with eachother and I've got no real personal experience to guage that by when the players involved are actually, you know, _good_ at the game.

@@ganqqwerty Agreed. I watched a match once from a player's perspective and got my eyeballs scrambled. Pros move their attention around the map so quickly. I like Falcon's speed better, but I still struggle to keep up with the thought process of the player we're watching. It's even harder to see it all for both players at once.

19 drones because the opener for zerg is 9-7-3 drones between the bases to early harass with hydras...
I don’t understand why the zerg went sooo long without saturating the bases in the first game. He wanted to push hydras but it wasn’t going to work with mass cannons

45:38 Funny, first time I saw a zealot I was confused. It sounded like he was punching them with metal first and growling angrily, not swinging lightsabery-psi blades. Same thing with Hydralisks, it sounded like they were spitting acid but they're shooting spines. Both sounds were "fixed" in StarCraft 2.
