Any Rolex with a date complication, the date can flip over anything up to around 8 minutes after midnight iirc. Appreciate you including some performance/accuracy chat in these videos as well, I’m sure a lot of people who buy watches aren’t that fussed, but I think for people who go the Explorer route the tool aspect is a big factor in the appeal. Peace.
I knew knew this. I was pretty shocked. Not disappointed but shocked because if you rotate the hour hand it clicks at 12 instantly. With the accuracy, it’s important to me. I’m aware i can have a quartz and be more satisfied, but even then i’ll have high expectations for the quartz as well. I’m interested to see the time gained by this watch at the end of the month. It’s not getting a break, on the wrist constantly 🙌🏾
@@timemycollection yeah date complications can be a bit fussy, like you can knacker them just by changing the time at the wrong time. But that’s part of the fun of mechanical watches I guess, it’s a bit like having a classic car, with all the pitfalls and foibles, but they’re just so much more “alive” than a modern car with power assisted steering and all that.
Crazy my Tudor chrono BB flips exactly at midnight on the dot every morning (I usually stay up until 3am every morning so I see it/hear it flip every morning). You would think Rolex would do a better job with being even more precise than Tudor. Then again, come to think of it, the Tudor chrono BB uses the Breitling B01 movement. So maybe that just has a superior date changing mechanism.
i have a very decent collection. the exp II is one of the best pieces in it. Absolutely fantastic looks, and very highong term motivation. does not get boring ever. Incomprehensible how it is one of Rolex's less pipular models: apart from size, I have no explanation. This model is absolutely gorgeous, period.

I was surprised myself, even when people was confirming that’s normal/okay.
If you manually do it, it snaps at 12 but yeah, I noticed this…
Definitely is a beauty 👍
Cheers. It’s growing me on, literally haha!
