✨In version 2.4, the D5 GI (Global Illumination) is further optimized to provide sufficient lighting even deep inside the scene, so you barely need to add artificial lights for interior spaces.

We need a character generator so we can make our own people like Sims 4 LOL. Not only is D5 my professional go to, it's also now my comic relief mixing scenes, effects, people, props. LOL. If you add sound tracks? Text to Speech? OMG. You get a whole new market!!!!!

I can really say that I have never been excited while waiting for a product, and in this case an update, it is not even a new version it is an update and even so it caused me euphoria, everything really everything is perfect as architects seek To demonstrate the idea that we have in our heads, we thank you from the infinity of our imagination for being able to give us the tools to do it, and it's not that they didn't exist but you showed them in a way that we don't have to destroy a neuron every time we render. Even so let me just mention that there is a slight problem with the PAINT of models, this option does absolutely nothing if the GRASS ground option is activated, I have to deactivate the grass to be able to place trees or bushes and then activate the grass again , but it does it again as soon as I close and open the program, I already installed it as an update and also as a new installation, and it does the same thing.

Since rendering with Blender Cycles is very difficult, I've been looking for real-time rendering programs like D5 rendering. I would like to ask you a few questions about D5. First, can I transfer my animated character and cameras from Blender to the D5 render program? I beg you to review the whole system for moving the view. It is not possible in 2023 to still move only with keyboard keys.
Really excited for this new update, but man why can't d5 be less resource consuming like Enscape? Every render takes a forever.
It usually has to do with the specs, but if your renderings are taking longer than expected, you can write on D5 Forum or to support@d5techs.com for troubleshooting.

I wonder if you really don't need to add fake lights for interiors and have it well lite using exterior sun or hdri. Thats one of my leased liked downside of real time render engines..

I remember that they had it in first year they released D5. But if they continued to offer a permanent subscription, perhaps they would not have enough budget for subsequent development and updates. I hope one day they might offer it at anniversary for a limited time .
In my opinion, the pricing is alright considering its capabilities. You can use it only in the months you need instead of paying 4000 euro for perpetual without any updates after. I think this is win/win

With this new GI , it makes no sense to use vray or corona for stills
I am sure that the future belongs to such technologies. And if visualizers want to bring it closer, we need to move as quickly as possible to new technologies and help developers make the product better
What I'm missing in D5 right now is the ability to import the entire project as separate objects that can be moved and deleted. Rendering video in vertical format is also not yet possible, which is very inconvenient.
Also, after canceling an action, the object loses its selection and gizmo, and it has to be re-selected in the list of objects. This is very inconvenient and time consuming.
Selection on the grid is impossible if the object overlaps with a closer object, even in wireframe mode. You have to look for the object in the list again, or switch between views to do it, a lot of time consuming
I hope developers will take user needs into consideration, It would help to speed up progress. To be honest, I thought this kind of technology should have been available 10 years ago, but progress has clearly gone the wrong way. Thanks to the D5 team, however, for bringing the future closer.
