To be honest, D5 has become shockingly good !! Amazing prize for amazing content. Not only the AI integration which is gold in my opinion … I’m a lumion guy, no longer, they are stuck fixing reflections of vegeation in glass materials since the release of lumion 23. D5 is taking the lead for me !! Keep up the good work 🙏🏼
This video summarizes the information in the videos we have seen so far about the capabilities of the D5. That's a skill to explain! I would call this video "D5 from 0 to Pro". Very cool!
Please make more videos on D5. Especially animation tips! Thank you so much. Im switching from Lumion to D5. Its just so much better from what i see here. Starting today!
It seems like you read my mind! I needed exactly this! I want to learn D5. I was between Blender also because of the cost, but I think D5 will be more intuitive for me. Thanks out a lot, Steven!
glad you found it useful! And blender and D5 are two different stories. Blender can also be used for modeling and also render inside it, but D5 is only for rendering. But I am also curious and would like to learn some Blender one day! The best thing about D5 for sure is the price.
Please continue doing this D5 render tutorials! I've been using Lumion for almost 4 years now and I'm new at experimenting with D5. I'm exited about the new features it's presenting. Tahnk you for your videos!
I am a long time Lumion user and after they have gone to such an expensive subscription model, I am looking at D5 and I am pretty blown away at how simple this is but powerful as well. The pricing for D5 is so much less but seems to be way ahead of Lumion in so many things. I am really looking forward to trying it out.
Imo Lumion beats D5 on many fronts. Just look at the texturing of the trees in the final render (bark). It's all about attention to detail (at least for me).
It is a very good program, but it requires a powerful PC system. Or slow and difficult nights at minimum system requirements. Thanks for your educational video. Enjoy your work. 💯👍🏻
finally i found the tutorial which i enjoyed and learn little bit actually, I'm done with Enscape and the UE takes too much effort for me thank you for this brief explanation & interesting video
This is just amazing thank you so much for making this detail video thank you so much....just we want to know how much time takes a video to render and what pc speks you have will be mich appreciate
Hi Can u pls do a tutorial on post-production explaining all the masks (when u were about to render the image) and how they work I dont understand how to do that in photo shop Thank you
thank you so much for your videos steven!! they are amazing and so well explained;) i was wondering what that terrain is called in quixel? and if you have tother model recommendations in there that you personally use, i would really appreciate it.
I want to create a classic tuscan house with stone and arches. I think it’s in a way more difficult than modern design because of the organic materials and arches. I wanted to ask you. How would you make these arches? i cant get the material brick to be like these arches should be. Same for the terracotta roofs
thank you for the tutorial but i was sad to see the result so college level like, i would still use lumion for exterior rendering despite the numerous flaws
Thx a lot for this Video! What happens, if the original 3d model has changed? Is it possible to re-import it into d5 without loosing the material-settings? And - does D5 support 3d-Mouse?
Can you help us with the Fbx file for the work along, I usually watch tutorials and do it along with the video for hands on but I wasn't able to find the link to download the file in the description.
I would like to ask, if you know, how many plugin applications I could connect to a program (in my case Archicad). I already have enscape connected (on Archicad 27), but I would like to connect d5 too. Do you think something like this would be possible? I am grateful for your attention. By the way, the video was perfect.
Sir, I'm new to exploring this software and I'm impressed, but I've noticed a peculiar issue. When I use orbit, fly, or walk in the viewport area, the mouse arrow doesn't disappear as it does in other rendering software, which breaks the immersion for me. Is there a way to resolve this, or is it a feature specific to D5 Render?
I downloaded live sink and then imported the model. But the problem I'm having is that none of the materials are selectable. I see the different materials reflected on the model but when I click on it the whole model is outlined. Please help!!
Quite peculiar that YT recommended your video as I've never seen your channel before nor am I subbed to you - I must say, the house you've designed here looks a lot like the one I have created a couple of weeks ago... only I built mine in a game called House Flipper, lol. Are you an actual architect? p.s.: D5 Render looks wonderful though.
Subscription has more than this, if you have money please support the makers of the software by purchasing subscription if you make decent money from animation
I think there would be a very small piece of the audience interested in video editing! they are all mostly interested in rendering and directly architecture related stuff, but there are some really good video editing tutorials on youtube! I recommend watching Ben Marriot, also the Motion Array tutorials are good.
Whats your opinion about d5 compare to twinmotion ; My major problem is that it imports objects as one , not exploded as layers , but as a whole part of form , even if the materials work by the order of the layers . I find it way more aeshetic for architecture than t.m. tell me if you have any thoughts 👊
honestly I have yet to seriously try TM. I've seen some really good results with it but then again workflow is also important! If I try it i'll let you know!
I think the biggest bargain is the price, as a designer I am fed up with the prices of all Adobe+ and Lumion. Not everything is for professional use, sometimes I wanna do personal projects and experiments but lumion is like "£100+ monthly", really ??
Thanks! And probably not, D5 requires a lot of graphic card memory and a decent ram. But still you could test out and run the benchmark on your laptop and see if it works! You can do it for free from the d5 website
@@ShowItBetter I already tried running the program itself before, it didn't work at first but I found a workaround somehow, I just can't seem to be able to do that again, hopefully someone who knows can stumble upon this comment 😅 But thanks a lot!

A lot of basic things Dont work, like downloading the enhanced image , like ai takes a lot of time even on a fair connection, and the downloaded assets are lost they are not sorted in a downloaded section.

In your modeling program you need to assign different materials to different faces. When imported, D5 will let you add multiple materials to that one object

thanks! and true. D5 with each update is getting better and harder to compete with.
Without you i wouldn't have survived architecture 👏
