Important PSA: grasshole is all but dead in the higher elo range. The team I used to hit legend would also get destroyed by grasshole. So proceed with caution if you’re still seeing it lol.

A hard Counter to a team is tough cuz it might take efforts of two of ur Pokmeon and some times take both of ur shields which will leave u in a very bad position

I keep eyeballing my Rainy Castform. I think it might be the only pokemon that can beat Azumarill and G-Stunfisk in the 0, 1, AND 2 shield matchups. It beats Skarmory and A-Marowak in all shield scenarios too. Such a beast. Mine would cost 277k dust to power up and double move so I've been hesitant thus far, but this might convince me to give it a try...

I Elite TMed Earthquake onto Politoed after watching your video and now I can't shut up about how good it is. I was running something kind of similar with ShadowAdomasnow/Politoed/ShadowSwampert and it had a lot of success.

Powder snow+weather ball is amazing. I like dazzling gleam over psyshock because of the heavy damage it can inflict but I understand having psyshock too

Looking at this team, I immediately thought it was going to struggle against an azu so I was curious how he would handle it. But all these matches have no azus. That kinda blows my mind. Even in my 3000 range, 80% of matches have an azu.
Azu lead i swap out of, but both the waters in the back have pretty good matchups since they have neutral or super effective secondary attacks, and they resist all the moves besides play rough, so its not as terrible of a matchup as it seems.
Without blizzard, meganium loves seeing politoad, I’ve been one shot by it before but now I expect the unexpected haha. Every time I run alolan ninetales I never catch the matchups I want /: I’ve had to switch it up even though I really wanted to run it

A lot of people are running teams to lose the lead to draw out the counter to the grass they have in the back. This way the bastiodon (or another mon) can farm down your grass counter and have lots of energy to deal with your lead or your counter again. I hope that was clear.
A bit disappointed though to not see The GOAT Alolan Marowak in any of these teams, would farm down the Ninetales then throw Shadow Bones at the other two to put in some work.

How does this team perform in season 9 ? Currently I run bastiodon(100IV), sableye (100iv,power gem), medicham(100iv). So which team is better for season 9?
Sableye is better when purified and your team is pretty good as an abb team but diggersby and whiscash on the lead is something to look out for. Azumarill also beats the entire team.

Ninetales/politoed are not spicy anymore, I found that stupid frog 4/5 battles in my team, it's becoming annoying. Good for the castform! I heard it's thickk and I can see why it's so expensive to get one closer to 1500 pc
